I received excellent care from Dr. Perich, Dr. Williams and Priscilla ( the PA ). From the front desk ( I believe her name was Debby), then the eye technician Gregory ( first person who checked my eye sight and took information concerning why I was there,which was a very bad left eye infection). Gregory was very professional and polite along with knowledgeable and courteous and explained clearly as he was doing the first part of my process of appointment. I was then seen by Priscilla( who was very professional and explained everything as she was doing the process of dilating my eyes and looking into what the problem was. Then next Dr. Williams came in and look at my eye also( very professional also ). Then I was given a sample of the drops and given a follow up appointment in few days. My eye infection was very bad , worse I ever had in my life and I started feeling like I couldn't wait few more days so I called the office number ( and got the answer service). Within 5 minutes that morning Dr. Perich called me back and sent ASAP an antibiotic to my pharmacy and within 2 days my eye was back to normal. I am so glad I was referred by my PCP to go to Perich Eye Center. I hope that Gregory, and Dr. Williams and Priscilla and Debby and all the team that was there that day is acknowledged for excellence in taking care of my eye needs. The male representative on the phone threatened my life. Yeah ... WTF? If zero stars was an option, that would more accurately describe my experience. I made an online Teledoc appointment to get my prescription renewed. I've had a card since the law was passed, so this process isn't new to me. After providing all of my personal information and paying the appointment, the system recognized me and I was just waiting for the doctor to appear. While waiting I received an email stating that my appointment was canceled with the reason being that I was a no-show. I did show up - early. I was waiting and their system's messaging verified that the doctor had been notified and to stand by. Upon receiving the cancellation email, I called the office to see what had happened. A man with a Caribbean or perhaps African accent answered and told me that I had to come in to the office to see the doctor. I replied by asking why a Teledoc appointment was scheduled if I was going to have to come in anyway. I asked the same question anyone would ask. I was abruptly told that my money would be refunded (pretty sure this person had no idea who I was). I explained that I wasn't interested in a refund. I explained that I just wanted to know what happened, and that I just wanted to renew my prescription. I was again told my money would be refunded and hung up on. I called back asking this man what his name was and why he kept hanging up on me. He repeated the same thing, that my money would be refunded to me and hung up again. The final time I called was initially no different than the previous calls. He again would not provide an explanation, wouldn't allow me to speak with someone else, and would not give me his name. Before he could hang up again, I stated "I'll just come in person tomorrow morning to resolve this", to which he responded "If you come down here, your life will be in danger" WHAT ??? I did not threaten this man in any way whatsoever. I did not yell, did not use profanity, nor was I abusive. I'm 60 years old. I don't threaten people or engage in exchanges like this. Of course I was aggravated, but nothing more. So now the Pasco County Sheriff's Office knows and will be investigating. The Better Business Bureau will know tomorrow, and so will the Florida Board of Medicine. This man should not be employed in any customer service capacity. If the physician who employs this person doesn't take their employee threatening someone's life seriously, then that physician is complicit and unethical. Who does what this guy did? I take no pleasure in spending my time writing this or involving law enforcement, medical boards, etc ... That said, threatening someone's life for asking questions and being persistent is beyond unacceptable and crosses the line big time. The rude people in charge of taking appointments seem to think they're doctors. The woman I spoke with refused to schedule an appointment and rattled off a bunch of things I should do, which I told her I was already doing. According to this self-proclaimed "doctor," I was doing it wrong, and when I explained I'd been suffering for three years and just wanted an appointment or I'd call someone else, she hung up on me. This office came highly recommended, supposedly excellent, but the staff I've encountered so far seem rude and completely incapable--unbelievable! read more

Dr Larry did a great job on my right eye. Removed cataract and inserted new lens. Very professional staff. Avoid his son Maverick at all costs. He is not to be trusted and not very professional. He let an assistant attempt to insert the new lens after the cataract removal. Even though under sedation I was able to hear everything being said. After sedation I asked what the problem was and he said there was none. I told him what I heard and he then said has assistant couldn't get the lens in so he did it himself. I had an upper bleph done last Oct and it was a horrible experience. I reached out them the next day due to issues. Was seen the following day. Made a compliant was told one thing. Went to ER was allergic reaction. Then went to follow up with phy that ref them. My procedure was done poorly. He ver that and told me contact surgery scheduler. I left 4 messages. Wrote 2 letters. Nothing. Went to another doctor and he said it looked poorly done, My eyes are almond shaped when I raise my eyebrows. He would have never thought anything was done. He looked at my eyes and said that my lines showed a curve down and the rt eye was horribly done and the left eye was a tad better. Said I would need to have it redone I have folding. I have to send him before, sure pics, healing pics, and current pics to send to plastic surgeon they use. I like Dr. Williams but I didn't like this extension. I didn't want him to be in the middle so I changed services. Now, Dr Petrich said he could do nothing until after 4 months time of healing even though it was obvious it was a poor job done looking at the lines of the stitch work. First of all...I was petrified to have cataract surgery.. actually put it off for 1 year .When I finally made an appointment to see Dr. Perich he made me feel so comfortable throughly explained the procedure and discussing my lens options .. First day of surgery I was still freaked out.... the staff at the hospital made me feel so comfortable and assured me all was going to be fine .. and they were right ! I got all worked up over nothing ..surgery was quick and didn't feel a thing ..it was amazing that I could see clearly right after surgery ! 2 weeks later I was so ready to have the second eye done...i was as calm as can be . All went well and .Now I have 20 20 vision in both eyes .. I highly recommend Dr.Perich office he is a great surgeon and has a wonderful caring staff ..thank you all so much read more

The staff at Perich Seven Springs office are the rudest bunch of people I have ever encountered in a physician's office! Absolutely zero compassion for their elderly patients and their family members. I have had many encounters with rude staff and the entire Seven Springs office and the doctors/examiners are impatient with the elderly patients as well. I had my 91 year old mother in last week and the examiner was impatient with her because she could not hear his instructions. Then when checking out and trying to make an appointment for a procedure I was told my mom's Medicaid provider was "not on their list". When I check with the provider they gave me a list and what do you know...Perich was right at the top! Dr. Perich worked with me extensively in getting my vision back. Double detached retinas both eyes totally blind in 2013 and 2016 surgeries. Very scary experience especially the last resort experimental surgery. I lost one eye but the other is 20/20 vision THANK GOD ! This review is in 2023. Dr.P. did out patient Lazer surgery pre op. at 10:30 at night. It was an emergency and he left his house and rushed to his office to meet me there and performed an intervention Lazer surgery. I was totally blind and had a friend rush me to his office and I left there with sight. He then pulled strings to get me into a clinical surgical center for immediate emergency surgery early the next morning. Dr. Perich and all of the staff that I had contact with were wonderful. I have special needs due to a allergy of a common ingredient found in most eye drops and pills. They made certain that all my prescriptions did not contain it. However, Walgreens in Tarpon Springs ignored the warning and substituted eye drops with one containing the allergen. read more

My husbsand had an accident and injured his eye badly. This was an emergency . Our Dr here in Spring Hill sent us to Perich Eye Ctr. It was almost and hour drive. The care we were given by the doctors and staff was the best kindess care ever. I cant begin to tell you and everyone else how wonderful we were treated. We were afraid he would loose his sight in his eye. The doctor was the best and fixed his eye! It is as longer road but worth the time for him to heal. I have been to the Tampa, Wesley Chapel & now New Port Richey offices. I have worn glasses dice I was a child, what a pain in Florida! Different seasons glasses fog up & with the humity, they are plain hot & slippery. I had a cataract removed in December, 2017 & all went well. You are awake during the surgery, they give you something to relax you, so you are not able to drive home after the surgery. The surgery itself is only about 15 minutes long & absolutely painless. Once surgery is complete you are ready to be driven home. Really quite easy for a fantastic result. Great staff & my Dr. Was Dr. Perich himself, top of the line. There are various drops you take prior to surgery to prep the eye. The are drops after the surgery to promote healing & no infections. No pain, no discomfort, just 20/ 20 vision. What's a girl to do? I brought my 81year old mother here for cataract surgery. For the first eye it took us over 6 hours you definitely need to bring a snack. Everyone was nice except for our first contact as we walked in we were told to have a seat. So once we had been there about an hour without being called back I ask if there was a problem and I was told you haven't been over next door yet. So I looked at her and said you are telling me this as if you are scolding us. We have never been here before how were we to know. So after 1 hour we went over next door to have eye measurements for around a half hour then we went back over to the surgery office and the wait began. I could hear many patients complaining on how long the wait was. If it wasn't for the angry front desk woman and the Lon long wait the surgery area and staff were great. After all the waiting and not eating for hours. We got it done so the 2nd eye only took a total of about 2 hours. My mother is a diabetic and she hadn't had any food from around 12pm the night before and finally got to eat around 6pm that next evening. Seems like there should be a easier way the waiting room was so full it was standing room only. Over booking causes waiting and stress. read more

I needed an additional test after my regular eye exam. Every other place I called wanted to charge a ridiculous amount. This place was very reasonable and I was glad to have been able to see them. Everyone was very nice, however I took off one star because I actually had a difficult time scheduling with the receptionist when I called to schedule. She told me it would be awhile before I would be seen, and she told me the names of at least 2 other places to call to see if they had earlier appointments (which I had previously called, but they were too expensive for someone with no insurance). I had an excellent experience there! The office staff was very courteous and pleasant. As was the clinical staff. Dr. Perich and his assistants were fabulous. He restored my eye to a perfect 20/20 vision involving a cataract removal, a lens to correct my myopia and fixed my astigmatism. I first tried to schedule an appointment with the Wesley Chapel office. That should had been a revelation. I told the "lady" that answered the phone that I had a referral for a routine exam and needed to schedule an appointment. Off the bat she said with an attitude that the referral needed to be faxed by my PCP and she would not allow scheduling an exam until they had it faxed to them. I then proceeded to call my PCP and asked them to fax it over. After waiting a day and a half, I called the Wesley Chapel office again and this time was told that they were not scheduling routine eye exams for that office. Among the offices mentioned that could do it, she mentioned the Zephyrhills office. I then called the Zephyrhills office (Zephyrhills Eye Institute) and the person that answered the phone told me that it wasn't necessary for my PCP to fax the referral, that I could just bring it with me, which I did. The front desk clerk/receptionist was "Spartan". Efficient in what she does, but stern-faced. She probably was frustrated working there and later on that realization clicked into place. If you desire going to an office where there's plenty of attitude, you'll find plenty there. Frustration there bleeds through the walls. Not only with the tech but also with the attending ophthalmologist (optometrist?) who performed the eye exam. I can understand that people can get frustrated, especially during these times, but there's no reason to develop and exhibit unpleasant attitudes that reflect flagrant rudeness. So if you want to go to a place where they will treat you with an attitude, bordering on rudeness and reflecting frustration, that's where you want to be. You'll get plenty there. I was told that but for incipient cataracts related to age, everything else was fine. But I don't trust them. How could I? You tell me. Even though my pupils were dilated, they let me leave without proper instructions. First and last time I go there. Beware! read more

So I made the first available cataract consult appt 4 months ago. I arranged for transport got dropped off went in side to register and was told my appointments was cancelled. That answer wasn't satisfactory to me so the snippy receptionist turned to the office manager and rolled her eyes. The official car mgr smirked. Incompetent ophthalmologist, some so OLD they need to retire(Dennis Williams) jumping around telling me I need PLUMBING eye surgery, he's looking like a rabid animal. 4-5 hour wait time! Larry Perich, doesn't even look at you when he talking to you. His back turned away like he could be bothered. Telling me to look into the eye machine light, when my records (which I'm sure he didn't bother to read) clearly states I have light sensitivity, because he's training an intern. Telling me his colleague, Dr. William gave me WRONG information on my last visit! I am losing my eyesight due to glaucoma I've probably had since birth. I have Severe opic nerve damage & am now a 70yr. Old who has been dealing w/eye Dr's since I had lazy eye since the early 1960, when no Dr's. or eye specialist knew what it was. I'm going blind. Had surgery with Dr. Perich. He did a great job! His office staff is atrocious though! ! It's like flipping a coin if they are going to be nice! They prescribed medication's for me. I followed their instructions. I was feeling great! Then after a few weeks I started with severe eye pain almost all day! So I called Dr. Perich office first thing in the morning. I didn't get a call back until late in the afternoon! She told me I should not be taking the eye drop meds. any more! I said why did you give me refills then! The bottles had refills until 2022! I'm 73 years old and this summer I received the worst eye exam in my life. The young tech asked me medical questions then had me cover my left eye with my hand and asked me if I could read a few lines of letters. He then had me cover the other eye and asked me to read a few lines of letters. I then saw the optometrist who checked my eyes under dialysis. That part of the exam was ok. I kept waiting for the eye refraction but was taken to the window to check out. I went to my other optometrist yesterday for a good eye exam so I can get new glasses. read more
