Edwin was helpful when he pre-checked us while waiting in line then mentions a sale about some dry bags and told us a story that he recently got one too. I finally made it into the new Costco. Upon entering it feels very much like any other Costco. But I will say there are a couple things that I like much better than the other Roseville location. First, the parking lot is sooo much easier to navigate. Whoever designed the layout of this lot should be commended! Second, the automatic car wash is absolutely phenomenal when compared to other automated car washes. The price is fair when compared as well. Lastly, I appreciate the self checkout aisles, which weren't overly busy when I visited. Overall, this place is great and we will definitely be back! read more

I popped into the relatively new Costco located in the newer part of Roseville. Their parking lot is an absolute nightmare to get into, to try to find parking, and just navigating around the parking lot. It's a pretty poor design. This location has car wash and gas station. Both are located close enough to the warehouse but not sitting super close so they at least got that right. Most not all Costco's have a similar layout, and this one was no different. I was hoping to find items here with nothing in particular that I don't usually find at the warehouses that I frequent, but really there was nothing out of the ordinary. If you're already shopping for the holidays, this location does seem to have a tad more holiday display items available. Checking out was a little bit of a cluster with a lot of people trying to check out, and warehouse staff closing some checkout lanes, but thankfully the weight was not too horrendous. I definitely love checking out new locations, and usually try to go back when I can. This one pretty much is a take it or leave it not necessarily worth the push to get there. read more

Adj: Newest and Nicest Costco for Now So this is a very new (less than half year old) Costco in Sac metro, although it's technically in Placer County since it's in Roseville, it's still within our region. So we came to check things out enroute to Roseville Galleria and this Costco did not disappoint. First, it's big, lots of parking spots and not hard to find one. It is almost like a "campus," with a car wash and not just an extra big gas station with many pumps. So that was a good feature if you needed/wanted a car wash for less than $10, really can't be beat these days. Then, it's the newer layout that all the newly built Costco have now w/entrance on the left and exit on the right side, somehow that seems to help the flow better and lessen congestion right at the front covered porch area to the entrance. Another thing is there were many sampling stations which my kids really like haha... another thing not seen in some of the more established Costco's further south of Sac. I also noticed merchandise sold here not seen in my more frequented locations. Landscape fountains/decors, certain clothing and shoes, and there were also more varieties of take-to-go trays of food in the cold deli section like more variety of sushi and sashimi trays. The layout of the optical dept is also the newer format with stations where customers can work with opticians one-on-one at individual desks instead of all of us having to crowd around the one circular station, it just a much better flow for looking at and choosing the glasses at the perimeter walls and then being able to come back to 1 station where the optician will meet with you and affords more privacy for the interaction (even if eye/vision convo's usually aren't all that confidential). Overall, a great new location, kind of far from me, but when I'm out this way, I'll definitely stop by for some productive shopping without the stress of overly busy parking lots and overwhelming crowds at the locations in South Sac/Elk Grove. read more

I wanted to stop in cause I saw as I was browsing the internet, that Costco has changed up the bagel selection. They sell them in bags of 8 now, instead of requiring you like before to but two bags of six for a dozen bagels. The new price is basically $5.00 for 8, so I guess the price per bagel has gone up, but what hasn't. !!HERE IS THE BIG NEWS! THE BAGELS ARE NOW WATER BOILED!! What that means is they're more like real bagels like you would find in an actual bagel shop, a more dense and chewy bagel, yeah like New York I guess, even though I've never been. The previous bagels were basically fluffy beard donuts! Costco ended their association with Einstein's bagels (the bread donut ones) and now makes their own using water boiling before baking. They're a little smaller around, but denser. This is way better. I got a bag, just watch the dates. The staff was just putting some new one out. All the normal flavors are out the including cinnimon rasin. I tried them and, whoa, what a difference, it way better. Maybe not totally as good as an actual bagel shop, but way better than what they had before. I used to avoid Costco bagels, but not any more. Try them out! I just wish they were pre sliced ... that might be asking too much. You can freeze them too and they defrost and test just fine. Better if you pre slice them all before freezing. read more

Costco, you need to get rid of your made with avocado oil products and your avocado oil spray. You're selling fraudulent products that aren't what they claim to be. For once, get on the proactive side and pull all that product that isn't what it claims to be and send it back to your supplier. Instead of 100% avocado oil in the spray, it has canola and various other seed oils. Do the right thing. read more

This review is mostly for the gas station. SO MANY pumps (40 I believe)! Loving how easy it is to get gas here. It's a convenient location for me and I have yet to wait for a pump *knocks on wood*. As far as the inside goes, I'm still getting used to it being set up kind of backwards than what I'm used to at other locations, but love how lowkey this one is. Lines move quickly and appreciate the positivity and samples haha. read more

This Costco location is an easy choice for the area! Although the inventory lacks some of the exclusives found at the Brentwood or Fremont stores, that's more a reflection of local demographics. The store is clean and well-organized, but the layout near the checkout and food court seating is frustratingly narrow. Widening these areas would make navigating through the crowds and carts much easier. The food court is always busy, but they usually have enough pickup lines to keep things moving. The standout is the exceptional service across the departments. Both the pharmacy tech and pharmacist are smart and personable, offering great advice with a friendly attitude. The optical techs at the eyeglass department have been so helpful and kind as well. Every interaction I've had with the main floor and check out associates are consistently pleasant and knowledgeable. For the gas and car wash, daytime is hectic, so evening visits are best. There's 40 pumps and long-reach hoses, so the gas line moves fast if there's a wait. There are two entry lanes for the car wash where you can prepay at the pump or the kiosk inline. It merges into a single tunnel, that seems to fit about three cars at a time. Attendants there are nice too. (The independent eye doctor at TLC Optometry is also awesome and thorough, providing information throughout the exam, and her staff are very professional.) read more

We braved coming on grand opening day (1/23/26) before noon. We mostly wanted to do a look versus actual shopping. It's a Costco, so you have a basic expectation of how it'll look & the products you'll find. What's nice is that it's new, clean, very well stocked, & organized. The workers seemed energized. The layout here is opposite the flow of the other Roseville Costco in that you enter on the left side & checkout/exit out the right. As expected, the parking lot was very full & inside was pretty crowded. Sampling (like tastes of ribeye) & special product demos (like getting your hair styled) were happening that would jam up the aisles. People were scoping out special deals. Some items that struck me as available were wagyu beef, a hen house, & horse feed. The pharmacy, optical, & hearing areas are all located together in a corner of the store by the checkout. At checkout, there are 12 registers & 6 self-checkout stations. Staff did a good job of keeping the lines going at a good pace. The food court area with self-serve order kiosks & lots of tables is situated along a wall in the narrow area just beyond where you exit all the registers. We used the car wash ($8.99) & it was a pretty good washing & drying that lasted approximately 3 minutes. Cars are well spaced out going through. Be aware that it gets really loud at times. It's great to have a Costco store with gas station, charging stations, & car wash in this area! read more

Made my way to the new Costco in Roseville today and it was a solid time.I do love going to new-ish Costcos as they tend to have all the new stuff,fully stocked with all the latest Costco items & this location was no different. Their plant section and cactus section was crazy-very good prices on huge house plants. They had heirloom Blue eggs which is always a plus-I enjoyed their fully stocked tequila section-they had some incredible items at great prices including Tequila Ocho,which is hard to find at any Costco. I will say this location is incredibly busy-parking lot was wild and inside was chaos but that's to be expected on Day 4 of any new Costco. Pretty solid samples going ,which is always a good thing-the line for the food court may have been 20+ deep which is kinda insane but what are u going to do,the $1.50 hot dog combo is a hard deal to pass up. This Costco did have a gas station which is awesome-always great to be able to save some $$ on gas and Costco gas stations are good for that. The most unique thing about this particular location though to me was their Costco Car Wash.I never seen one of those before,don't even know any details about it,I saw it when I was driving away-but I'm intrigued and will for sure look into it next time I make my way out there. In closing,it's great to have a new Costco in the Roseville area,as this will serve so many people in West Roseville and Antelope area having a location so much closer to them-I'm glad it's here finally. read more

The newest Costco in the greater Sac area just opened. It's technically in west Roseville, but not too far from Antelope and I think folks living anywhere from North Highlands to Natomas might drive to this newer one for their car wash ($8.99) and bigger store not to mention their gas station vs. the Natomas Costco which doesn't offer gas fueling. We visited on a Sunday afternoon so like any other Costco, it was pretty packed, but parking wasn't too hard to find as the lot's big, and we saw that the lines at the gas station weren't super long like it would be at most times in South Sac or Elk Grove Costco where we frequent much more. We didn't get gas here, but the station there looks big and clean, after all it is basically brand new. The store itself had the typical layout, except the entrance is to the left and the exit to the right which I noticed is more likely the case w/newer stores. Everything else inside looks just like a typical Costco store w/electronics and seasonal upfront, and then daily essentials and food further back into the deli/take and bake area way in the back and freezer aisles and rounding back around front to all the pantry items and health and pharmacy stuff. On this Sunday they had quite a few sampling stations and they had some items not seen in other locations such as multiple kinds of sashimi trays, better/higher end cuts of meats, and tons of landscape and gardening items including some faux rock fountains that I've not seen at other locations. All in all, this new Costco is already doing really well and I'm sure it'll continue to attract tons of customers in these newly developed and still developing areas. read more

New Costco! This one has plenty of gas pumps that can accommodate four cars in each lane. The gas is also cheaper here. There is even a car wash- $8.99! The interior is spacious, but it gets congested around samples. Most of the items are what you can find at any other Costco. One thing that was different was the Kirkland sushi. We tried the medium platter with maki, nigiri, and CA roll with crab (not imitation). The nigiri had too much rice, but I liked the CA roll. read more

I am not one to go to a new business on their first day of opening. However, I've been counting down the days of the long anticipated wait of when this "Costco" store in the West Roseville area would open so I made the trek here during the evening of Friday 1/23/2026. To those who may not know, this particular Costco was in the planning stages dating back to 2014. Due to the plot plan, permits, and approval from the city of Roseville, this entire project took nearly 12 years to finalize and complete. Located directly on Baseline Rd and in between Market St and Fiddyment Rd, this Costco warehouse is a huge relief as it will significantly reduce the traffic from the other well-known Costco in Roseville (on Stanford Ranch Rd/Five Star Blvd). This new location should be very convenient for people that live in West Roseville, Lincoln, Antelope, Rio Linda, and Elverta (as there are also Costco warehouses in North Natomas and Citrus Heights). I think now that the greater Sacramento is saturated with Costco warehouses, this will reduce a lot of congestion, parking, and traffic issues. In addition to the entire site location being a little over half a million square feet, they offer a very sizable gas station (with a total of 40 pumps) as well as a car wash (for $8.99) which is a first of its kind in the Sacramento metropolitan area. Our visit was around 7:15pm as the parking lot was still packed to a capacity. Upon entry, everything was laid out similarly to other Costco warehouses. However, I did notice more higher end products including a Burberry cashmere scarf and some top shelf alcohol. During our visit, there was still a ton of food samples and employees that were more than happy to assist us. All in all, the West Roseville "Costco" will do very well in this area. With the addition of hundreds of new homes in and around unincorporated areas of Sacramento County as well as the West Roseville, Sun City, and Lincoln area, I can see a lot of people that will shop here regularly. When you factor in the overall location, above average service, and amenities that are offered here, I am giving this warehouse an above average four star rating. read more

January 2026: This warehouse has been open just a week or so. I've reviewed other Costco warehouses with the comment, "A Costco is a Costco, is a Costco". If you have been to a Costco you can pretty much expect the same layout and national product inventory. Within a 10 mile radius of my house in northwest Roseville, Placer county California there are now 4 Costco warehouses. Seems like overkill to me, but I don't know the numbers that Costco has obviously crunched to justify so many warehouses in near proximity. I do know that the Stanford Ranch Road Costco in Roseville is the 6th highest dollar earner in the world. The Honolulu Costco is the #1 earner in the world. Seems to me from the visit today that there are a few pluses and minuses compared to the #6 warehouse. Here on Baseline road the access to the site is much easier, not as a congested entry. The parking lot is bigger. There's more room to enter the gas station. There's a carwash. While cruising the store I noticed that the wine selection is smaller than the bigger warehouse. There's less of the gourmet food items, like fancy cheeses. None the less for us folks on this side of Roseville the location is more convenient and less crowded than the Stanford Ranch warehouse. read more

Greg at the Costco Car Wash is a National Treasure and absolute sweetheart! He must be protected at all costs. He is professional, funny, and efficient. 10/10 recommend using the Costco car wash when Greg is working. As for shopping at the store, it's not too busy during the daytime week day hours. The employees have been friendly and helpful, especially at check out. But customers...don't stop in the middle of the aisles and walkways please. And do you really need to bring all the adults in your family to Costco just to shop?! Leave grandma, grandpa, and your adult son at home please. They're a slow gaggle making it difficult to shop. read more

We didn't check these parts out but many would consider those options a plus! This is a lot further than our regular Costco but we were in the area and wanted to check it out. Parking lot is always packed like every other Costco but we were able to find a parking spot. They have burrata cheese here and my local Costco never has that so that was a score for me! This new Costco at Baseline and Market is a huge win for West Roseville. Yes, it's a Costco and most Costcos are generally the same, but this one really stands out. First off, the gas station is massive and incredibly well designed. Easy to get in, easy to get out, and I've had zero wait both times I've filled up. That alone puts it ahead of the other Roseville locations where gas lines and traffic can be a headache. Getting into this Costco is also a breeze with multiple entrances and no traffic backups. Parking has been solid too. Even late on grand opening day we found parking without much trouble, just needed a little patience. On our second visit it was even better, plenty of open spots and we parked close to the entrance. For how busy Costco usually is, this location feels surprisingly smooth and manageable. Inside, the store is bright, clean, and well stocked. The employees genuinely seem happy to be there, which makes a difference. Checkout is fast too. Self checkout moves quickly and even on busy days the regular lines go smoothly. Both times were smooth for us. I also really like the food court layout. It feels more spacious and comfortable than other locations, with more room to actually sit and eat. Bonus points for having a car wash on site for 8.99. I haven't tried it yet, but it's cool to see. With how many homes are being built out this way, having a Costco here just makes sense. This location is efficient, easy, and honestly one of the better Costco experiences around. The difference coming to one that just opened....smells clean, lots of employees on the floor, all the items are well stocked. The Natomas Costco was built without a gas station. This location has 20 pumps w plenty of space for waiters without impeding traffic. They also have a car wash!! This location will do well...there are many new homes being built off of Baseline Rd. read more

This Costco has ample parking, a gas station, and even a car wash. Inside, the layout isn't too confusing and as of this review, it isn't as packed with customers. As this location grows, I really hope additional commercial establishments (not too many) surround it to give additional reasons to swing by. read more

Gas station is great. 40 fueling positions, so even on opening day there was no wait for gas when I went. It's also set up really well with 5 different driveways to access the warehouse parking lot/gas station car wash area. So not a lot of queues and you can get in and out of the gas station easily - even on opening day. This Costco has in-store made sushi and I thought a better meat selection than the other nearby locations. They had A5 wagyu and tomahawk prime ribeyes (hopefully not just a grand opening promotion as they always have these in Costcos down in OC and I'm sure the bay). I would avoid going to the actual warehouse for a while. I went on opening day about an hour before closing and I had to abandon my cart. It was just far too difficult to get around. Line was insane too. I guess that's all expected, but I'll definitely be waiting for the hype to cool down before going next. This should ease east/west traffic in Roseville, especially as more of Baseline Marketplace gets built out. Game changer for our neighborhood! read more

What impressed me even more was that after helping me, I saw him continuing to work with the same positive attitude, dedication, and enthusiasm. His professionalism and willingness to help made a real impression on me and reflected very positively on Costco. Took a half hour to get a pizza today that I ordered because I'm pretty sure they forgot about me, a lady comes in from the parking lot says she dropped her pizza on the ground and she got it replaced in literally two seconds! Easily and by far, the longest wait ever for a single pizza after spending $400...like what? My receipt says 6:11pm and it is now 7:07pm and I still have 2 people in front of me. My god, roll back the footage and I am in the Laker hoodie. This is the 3rd time experiencing this, the first couple, "they just opened, must be a one off" nope! Here's a quick fix...anyone picking up more than 5 pizzas needs to order it a day in advance and pick up before 5pm the next. That way your shopping customers...after working all day...don't get sacrificed for large orders when we are waiting on one single pizza. You guys make pepperoni and cheese. Nothing gourmet, so it's a scheduling and efficiency issue. I would imagine that up and coming asssociates from other successful Costco's help train and grand open a location of this sort. I mean there was a ribbon cutting ceremony and everything. I'm watching employees walk right up and get a slice, hot dog, cheese bake, no problem. There is a line out the food court for whole pizzas. I ask a manager to explain why this is happening...he was speechless...said "I don't know man". All my refrigerated groceries sitting in my cart for over an hour!!! Unacceptable Costco, who's bright idea was it to run the checkout lanes right into the food court? I look over at the optometry dept and you can hear a mouse fart. Went to Costco tonight and signed up for a membership and ordered a chef salad from the food court. Found this dead fly in my salad after eating and almost ate it accidentally.
