I hit a huge pothole on I-94 near Gary, Indiana, which caused a flat tire and left me stranded on the shoulder with traffic flying by at highway speeds. I was on my way home to spend Father's Day with my dad, and this was the last thing I expected to happen. From the moment Jamie spoke with me on the phone, he was calm, reassuring, and genuinely caring. He made me feel like I was in good hands before he even arrived. Once he got there, he was professional, efficient, and incredibly courteous. Jamie then drove both me and my vehicle all the way to my dealer's service department in Illinois. During the drive, we had a wonderful conversation, and I was impressed by how warm, friendly, and compassionate he was. They suggested I get it towed to their shop which I agreed too. They told me they will look at it, and give me a price before doing anything. It took two days for me to get a price or an update about my car even after asking multiple times. I asked multiple times for a price BEFORE working on my car they literally said they did the work anyway I have text messages showing me asking for them to not do anything work until I get a price which then the lady on the phone said "we already fixed it and THEN gave me a price ... which then they held my keys hostage because I was $5 short on payment, Because they wanted to upcharge me for using a card. I was yelled at by two different people. I stood outside their business for 30 minutes while they ignored me like children. The lady on the phone hung up on me multiple times. The guy at the shop told me "fuck u" I left literally shaking. I will never call this number again and I'll advise others not to do so or u might get ur car held hostage like I did. Like I said communication was trash, customer service was terrible. As far as getting ur vehicle serviced. But the tow truck man was nice

We were…read moreon a long road trip from North Carolina to Wisconsin with a horse trailer in tow (and a dog in our truck) to pick up livestock when our truck broke down on the shoulder of the interstate south of Chicago. It was 6pm on a Friday night, dark, with blowing snow. Called numerous repair shops and explained our dire circumstance and kept getting the same answer "sorry, just getting ready to close for the evening and can't help you...maybe can fit you in tomorrow if you can get a tow here, but can't guarantee anything". Just then a tow truck pulled up. Diego was a godsend. He said "first thing we need to get you off this interstate, it is not safe here". He towed us off the interstate to a gas station and we started to talk about the car breakdown. I told him our only real option was to tow to the local Toyota dealership and they said they would see if they could maybe fit us in on Saturday. He explained it would be difficult to find a local hotel that takes dogs and we were concerned that the dealer would not be able to accommodate us the following day. Diego quickly diagnosed our failed alternator. He said he didn't want to leave us in such a bad predicament and said "I will fix your truck tonight and get you back on the road". I felt a real trust in him and his kind nature. He went to a parts store and got a new alternator and worked under our truck for 2 hours in 21 degree blowing snow to get us back on the road. The price for the tow and service was unbelievably low and I gave him a generous tip, as it is not often that you run across someone so compassionate and kind hearted. Diego could have just given us a tow to the Toyota dealer and left us to deal with the breakdown. In a world where we so often hear of the bad, let it be known that there are still wonderful caring humans out there and we were very fortunate to have crossed paths with Diego, a true angel.
