Vissers Auto Body Repair is no longer there. I've been a Customer for 25 years. They were absorbed by a CDE Collision Center Franchisee. Yesterday I was told to bring my Car in for repairs today [Thursday~12/21/23]. ALLSTATE arranged a loaner. When we arrived from Manhattan (Will County, IL) the Bldg was empty. I called the number to VISSER'S and was told it is a different Company and now located on Harlem Ave. I was told that I could not leave my Car there for repairs; come back after two (2) Months. Why didn't Emily tell me that a day before when we communicated via telephone? Great Inconvenience and I'm stuck with a $55 a day Loaner that ALLSTATE is not going to pay for. I wasn't going to leave my Mercedes there anyway that was bought new (and Customized in West Germany) that I only have 8,000 miles on today. I don't know these people or Facility. I've trusted VISSER'S for over 25 years with over 25 different Make/Model repairs on my Car Collection. CDE has POOR COMMUNICATION Skills. I'm not qualified to comment on the quality of their work. Used Vissers 3 times in the last 8 years. They are a Mercedes Certified shop and do excellent work. Paint quality is better than factory finish. I would recommend Vissers to everyone that expects excellence in quality and workmanship. read more

Body work was good. Stupid expensive though. They used dirty rags to wash it and left a ton of swirl marks. They also didn't align my front end properly and I had to take it elsewhere since their service team didn't respond to emails or phone calls. I won't be back. read more

Upon reviewing the comments posted on the CDE-Vissers website I felt confident that having work done by this family owned business would be a chance worth taking. Upon greeting by the nice young ladies at the front desk, they promptly contacted Enterprise Rental to request my rental car. I was surprised at the frequency of updates I received on the progress of my repairs. Upon completion after 5-days of repairs, I was shocked at the quality of the repairs performed. Rob Freiburg encouraged me to review the original parts and to meet the mechanic, Chelo, who performed our repairs. I thoroughly questioned him about the repairs and his thorough observation on the overall condition and potential of related problems. In addition to the major front end suspension work, we also had body work performed on the rear bumper which was perfect. I WILL trust CDE-Vissers to perform future repairs on our cars. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody. They were incredibly proactive in ensuring that I was always updated in every step of my car's repair. I dealt with Bob, who was incredibly knowledgeable about all the repairs my car might have needed, and made it a point to review my estimate point by point, including any variables that might be incurred once the repair process began. The turnaround time was minimal, and the precision was everything I could have asked for. I will never take my car to any other collision center, and I will recommend that everybody follow suit in utilizing Visser's for their repairs. read more

My husband went to the Mercedes dealership of Orland Park and they do not do estimates for body work. He was referred to Visser's Collision Center of Tiinley Park. Glenn, the service writer, did everything he said he would have done to perfection. They are three brothers who own and operate Visser's Collision Center. Their body shop is amazing! Unfortunately, I have had the need for body shops during my driving career. These guys are unbelievable, I have a 2012 GMC Acadia Denali that looks like brand new thanks to Visser's Collision, In Tinley Park.. I dealt with Glen who was very professional, he dealt with the insurance company of the lady that hit me and worked out all of the details, I didn't have to do a thing. I hit a utility pole after being run off the road and damaged the front end of my car. Visser's did a fantastic job fixing it, the car looks brand new. They had it inspected at the Mercedes dealer to be sure it was done right, they are very thorough. I highly recommend them. Hopefully I won't need them again, but if I ever do, I'll feel very confident going there. read more

Vissers collision was my best experience with a body shop I ever had. My 2015 Toyota Avalon only 3900 and was in near showroom condition when I was rear ended. Tom was wonderful to deal with he found $7100.00 worth of damage $5000.00 more than the insurance company found when they inspected vehicle. Their body man who's name I didn't catch is a real artist. I was a used car manager and appraised cars for a number of years before car fax came out. I have always prided myself in finding imperfections on cars and accident damage. They used the factory welds, and factory sealant. They had to replace the trunk lid, trunk hinges bumper cover the inner bumper the sale panels and the pillars that are made to crumple in an accident between the two. The job was factory perfect. Cannot even tell the car was hit even though they replaced what effectively accounts for the while rear of the car. They also took dent out of the quaterpanel. Paint work is top notch. They also inspected the interior of my car and saw that the seat frame needed to be replaced. I hope I never have to see them again, being that I don't want to ever be read ended again, but if I do I will only take my car to one place and that is Vissers. They truly care about you and take pride in their work. If you don't care what you car looks like and just want it fixed as fast as possible bring it to one of the chains, but if you want your car fixed to factory specs by true professionalsy Vissers is the place. They will make the insurance company step up and fix the car properly for you as an advocate for you, while the insurance company is just trying to save money. I can't say enough about them. Again I consider myself an expert I have owned over 100 cars personally and have apraised thousands. they are the best. Thank you Tom! read more
