Yesterday I was told to bring my Car in for repairs today [Thursday~12/21/23]. ALLSTATE arranged a loaner. When we arrived from Manhattan (Will County, IL) the Bldg was empty. I called the number to VISSER'S and was told it is a different Company and now located on Harlem Ave. I was told that I could not leave my Car there for repairs; come back after two (2) Months. Why didn't Emily tell me that a day before when we communicated via telephone? Great Inconvenience and I'm stuck with a $55 a day Loaner that ALLSTATE is not going to pay for. I wasn't going to leave my Mercedes there anyway that was bought new (and Customized in West Germany) that I only have 8,000 miles on today. I don't know these people or Facility. I've trusted VISSER'S for over 25 years with over 25 different Make/Model repairs on my Car Collection. CDE has POOR COMMUNICATION Skills. I'm not qualified to comment on the quality of their work. The staff was consistently friendly and professional, which is why I returned after someone hit my car three months ago. However, this experience was very different. Not only had they relocated, but the estimate I received was shockingly high. The representative even told me the quote wasn't final and that the cost could increase, which raised immediate concerns. I decided to get two additional estimates, and both were significantly lower CDE's quote was over $1,000 higher than the others. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed.

Next pickup noticed that head lamp washer was never repaired. There was over spray on parts of bumper and drivers side Kidney was falling out. After a week drivers side xenon lamp quit working with no error code and windshield wiper fluid drained to garage. Checked out xenon lamp and found the dust cover broken and found that xenon lamp fell in to light compartment. It was never installed correctly. Follow up - called Crash Champions to state issues and that the automobile was going to go to BMW for repairs. Wrote to State Farm (same agency for 40 years now). Told my State Farm Agent that I would not recommend Crash Champions. I had dealings with Phase I many years ago and was very pleased with their service.

My rear bumper itself was not damaged but the paint was peeling off and the bottom plastic-like part had a big crack in it. I dropped it off with Dan at Dan's Auto Body shop in Mokena off 191st. Because the bumper wasn't damaged he was able to keep it but repaint it. I literally just need to say wow! It looks like brand new. He did an excellent job repainting it. I was in awe. He also, installed the new black molded plastic piece at the bottom. His work is exceptional and also affordable. I was being charge 5x as much. Every place (3 in all) that I went to all claimed I had to have a new bumper and there was nothing wrong with my bumper at all. When Dan looked at my car and under the bumper he said we don't have to replace it, it is in good shape. I can just repaint it. His turn around time was not super long like other places were going to be too. If someone is looking for excellent work with a reliable and honest owner! My vehicle was towed at 8pm, I immediately called and the answering service informed me there was no way to get my vehicle that night, I had to wait until the office opened the next morning. When I spoke to the owner Ed about this the next day he told me it didn't matter because I would have had to pay more then the storage fee they charge me for having my car there overnight. ($50 to get it that night, and $35 for the storage day) I informed him it wasn't the money, it was taking the day off work to wait and retrieve my car. i would have preferred to pay the extra money to get it when I needed it. Ed then told he doesn't want to give me my money back and it wasn't his fault I was towed. It's not the towing, it's that this business operates illegally under IL law and take advantage of people. Terrible!
