When the rain was coming through my roof so bad, I had to hire someone on my own to diagnose the leak (WHICH IS NOT COMING FROM THE SKYLIGHTS) and they are not only ignoring my claim, they refuse to refund my $1900 that I gave them for skylights that I thought I had no choice but to order. They say they're "custom made" and that's why they're so much. Skylights are a piece of glass costing $2-$300 tops. They are taking advantage of people and scamming everyone out of money while failing to maintain the buildings' structure. Marie and Joanne in the office are unbelievably rude and unprofessional, telling me that "they can't stop the rain" when I asked how I'm suppose to live with a leaking ceiling and rapidly increasing water damage. They were unwilling to help me in any way, even something temporary to stop the leak until the issue was resolved. This is an unsafe environment for my family and I am actively filing suit.

Due to an email titled "Immediate Action Required: Notice of Defamatory Reviews" stating my final…read morewarning before ground for a libel lawsuit, from the President of Lombardi Residential, I have edited my original review to meet his demand that I "remove or rectify these reviews on all platforms within five days to avoid legal action." Maybe that is why there aren't many reviews? With that being said, this review is my opinion, thoughts, and experiences. Buyers/renters are expected to do their due diligence before purchasing/renting from any business. Do not let my one review deter you from purchasing/renting but instead at the end, you will find my recommendations help you better protect yourself before contracting. --------- My family purchased TWO adjacent homes from Lombardi Residential LLC, last spring. Keep in mind this is less than a year ago. When moving to a community like Point Pleasant, NJ (4 square miles), you may be looking to purchase from a local name. Typical people and businesses in this community are very helpful, know each other, come together, and work together well. As far as the location, I highly recommend it. As far as Lombardi, I must be honest, we do NOT recommend them. Our experience and recommendations are outlined below. When looking for a home you tend to look past the little things: the kitchen sink not sloped right, the sprayer on the sink hose broken and installed incorrectly, the glass door to the shower not closing fully, the showerhead not fully installed, missing insulation below floor creating cold sections of the house, cabinets not aligning, cabinet shelves missing, inefficient leaky windows, air conditioning vents installed crooked, broken window latches, hole in the floor to the crawl space open for the HVAC tubes left open, and rusted fixtures. Hoping this is normal wear and tear. In this instance, the longer we live here, the more our opinion changed to, LOMBARDI IS NOT QUALITY CONSTRUCTION, THEY HIRE PEOPLE TO PUT MAKEUP ON A PIG. Do your due diligence and do not be fooled by awards they list. Within the first year, we have had nonstop issues with five of the "7-year-old appliances". We reached out via email to the President of Lombardi Residential and politely asked for some assistance: We did not ask for help on the first, second, or third appliance but eventually asked for them to assist. It is not their legal responsibility to own these issues. What we were looking for was help. It didn't have to be monetary, maybe they could find the warranty information or have their team come out and look at the furnace. The feedback was it is due to the quality of the machines due to efficiency ratings, 7 years is very reasonable, and there is nothing they could do. They instructed me to reach out to their guys myself. Not even a phone call. Not what you would expect from the local business owner. Our recommendations if you are looking to purchase from Lombardi Residential LLC: 1) Perform highly thorough inspections of all appliances. Not just your home inspector, but yourself as well. Request replacements. Our feedback within the first year was, "these appliances, being your personal property and not new at the time of purchase, are your responsibility, not ours." 2) Understand our opinion is the quality of work/finishing is not just wear and tear. Ask for it to be corrected. Take your time and look at everything. Once again, it is not easy to detect there is no insulation between your crawlspace and the first-floor bathroom. But when winter comes you will know when you must deal with significant amounts of cold air. 3) Know that Lombardi was quick to use their legal experience.
