Y'all need to create a better process for scheduling new customers and train staff on better customer service because if I wasn't so patient and my situation wasn't urgent (or "not a priority" like staff told me), then your responses could really adversely affect those in crisis. I resold a vehicle through Peddle and was paired up with Roy's to handle the tow and payment issuance. The platform makes the initial process relatively easy and you're able to select a date and various scheduling time blocks with me choosing 11am-3pm. I felt the staff was initially pretty responsive but comms became spotty or even borderline rude as my appointment time drew closer and closer. I understand that emergencies come up but I didn't like being given vague or different etas whenever I followed up or having staff overpromise time availability only to be told later that they would no longer be able to come by until after 10pm. This is on top of already having a designated time slot that they should've adhered to or even rejected to begin with. Because my storage unit was not open past 10pm but I still needed to move my vehicle out that week, I decided to reschedule to the next morning. This is in addition to me having to drive from the OC on both days! Though I still experienced a small delay at first, the actual tow itself was pretty standard and the driver was transparent about where the vehicle was being taken to. My overall impression was that staff may be inclined to be more attentive if you were in a severely critical situation but I had a pretty frustrating experience given them being short-handed and not communicating consistently/reliably which led to loss of trust and affected duty of care. read more

When the driver made it to me he was super helpful, friendly, and apologetic over the wait. Honestly he also made sure I was okay & comfortable. Hello Fellow IE residents, insurance companies and truckers. I called this company July 1st and was requesting a tow for my heavy vehicle. They gave me another number to text details to, no problem. I send the details and then no response whatsoever. Call the number, no answer. The following day I call their regular business number, reexplain my situation and mid explanation I get hung up on. Call again, tell me they are sending a vehicle to help me from 10-11AM. Now 12 PM and no response. For people who get paid such an absurd rate, yall are ungrateful/unprofessional and hope you are replaced swiftly. read more

This place is AWFUL. They were supposed to come and jump my car by 2:14, I let 15 minutes go by before calling them about an eta since it was 2:29 at that point. Someone on the phone said that the lady who was supposed to come and drop my car was having problems with a previous customer before me and she would give me an ETA within 15 to 20 minutes. They towed my car a month ago , which ended up damaging the front bumper, while they were dropping it off. I was very disappointed, However the way they took care of everything was phenomenal. Bob, the manager initially talk to us about fixing the damage their employee made it, and after that Alexis took care of rest. Here I will mention that Alexis customer service is outstanding, he dealt with everything in a very professional way, his attitude and personality shows that this company has good and genuine people working in it. Alexis is a young and very respectful person, good job Alexis, you deserve a 5 star. Outstanding service that was fairly quick for the amount of jobs they had that night and the location. Back in mid-February, I got a flat truly in the middle of nowhere out near Mormon Rocks. Phillip, the tow truck driver for that night, seemed very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Casual, friendly, conversational guy from the South. He had a hilariously scary phone notification that sounded like something between a foghorn and truck air horn. No complaints. There's a reason why they seem to get contracted for a lot of jobs throughout the area and farther out, even into Nevada (as Phillip explained to me). read more

BEWARE of this place! I been sitting in 106 heat for 3 hours. In the desert on side of road with flat tire on the way to Vegas. Went through geico app roadside assistance. Had a ETA of 1 hour. My location from their company is a hour they still haven't showed up. The dispatcher is saying another hour smh. He don't have anyone else on his route but It's been 3 hours still not here. I feel like I'm going to pass out that's how hot it is. OMG Nose just started to bleed due to the heat. I take medications for diabetes and breast and blood cancer. I had a flat tire on the side of the freeway so I went through my insurance for roadside assistance and was sent a tow truck driver from Roy & Dot's. My driver Ben called me soon after I submitted my roadside request to confirm my location and said he'd be there in 12 minutes, much sooner than the 39 minute ETA listed on my insurance app. That flat tire ended up turning into a tow ride home since there were some other issues (not Ben's fault) with my battery and lug nuts. Now THIS is a great towing company. After having 3 lousy service calls from Liberty Towing over the years, it is nice to see a company that puts my faith back into people. I called my insurance at 5:30pm and the estimated arrival time was 6:30pm. The technician Gabriel called me at 6:30pm and said he was 20 minutes out. He arrived right when he said he would. This tow truck company is awful and irresponsible. My insurance company informed me they will show up to tow my vehicle within 60 minutes. Thus, I waited almost 75 minutes (assuming traffic) before I contact my insurance that no tow truck, yet. Then, my insurance company told Roy & Dot's Towing did not bother to tell them or me they canceled. They truly unprofessional and untrustworthy. If you need a tow, better go elsewhere! read more

I work as a dispatch for aide to our OTR drivers. This company was called out for a heavy tow after hours. Although they were real friendly people We feel we were over charged outrageously. We disputed it and they did drop some of it but still at the price just to haul 20 miles was ridiculous. Apparently we are in the wrong business. I would not suggest to use this company. Just an FYI to all customers who are considering using Roy and Dots. The owner David had a choice to lower the fees for the communities impacted by the recent blizzard in the San Bernardino mountains. He chose to charge full price for a tow service and storage fees during an unprecedented time when many people like myself were stuck in the storm and had to abandon our vehicles. I would completely understand the charge for towing my vehicle to clear the road however adding on hundreds of dollars in storage fees while it was impossible for me to get my vehicle as I was trapped up the mountain was ridiculous. This business used a natural disaster to steal money from residents. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Bob was our Tow specialist. He was very prompt at arriving to my location to pick up my car. He was very very professional and courteous. He arrived in a beautiful tow vehicle, it was a clean state of the art flat bed. I liked how he inspected my vehicle for any damages and photographed it, BEFORE he loaded it. He handled the car with care as he put it on the trailer. He confirmed the name and address of where the vehicle was to be delivered. The car he was delivering was an old classic Corvette, we felt reassured that Bob would take car is this care. We knew it was in good hands!
