I was upset when I realized this. Dr. Federico stated he didn't know why she put me on it because my thyroid was just a bit off. It is now better via changing my diet. I haven't had any issues with him. He doesn't pressure you to take an rx. I don't want to find myself on six rxs, so he honors that. The staff in the office are great too. I usually don't have to wait long once I'm there. The only issue is they don't have enough staff to answer the phones, so you won't likely get a person on the phone. You have to leave a message. I'm assuming because their costs are lower they can't afford to have the additional reception staff to handle the phones. I just go in person and make my next appointment while I'm there. I'm not a sickly person who has to run to the doctor often, so Compassionate Care works good for me. Having Saturday hours is a major plus. I will continue to keep going.

The staff are always new. The doctors hardly know their patients even after years. Most staff and drs. are rude, hateful, offensive and put incorrect info in my chart that made me look bad. I would especially caution lgbt folks to stay away. They have not been what I call gay friendly. The last nurse I had there was a bully and so is the doctor. I left in tears without the care I needed. I have since found a new wonderful doctor with friendly caring staff and I will say they are not a north medical practice. Finally after 8 years of torture under north med I am receiving healthcare at my new doctors practice. Stay away from north med if you can.

Appointments were scheduled so I didn't have to miss work and my son didn't have to miss school. They knew all the school vacations and testing schedules to help with appointments. And they always gave a near perfect approximation of how long the each appointment would take.
