Beautiful park! Well maintained. Playground is shaded. Roy has a beautiful trail. Great for runners, walkers and bikers. The trail follows a nice creek. I believe it's about 5miles long. It is a little difficult to follow where the trails continues once you found the dam. read more

Hidden gem that runs from a park on the border of Lancaster and desoto TX too downtown Desoto, TX. Very scenic and is about a 5 too 6 mile trail one way. You can run or bike but there are two draw backs. After the first mile it ends the woodlands neighborhood and you have to know where to pick it back up at. Also if your riding a bike there can be Areas where the water maybe high and you won't be able too ride through especially at the dam read more

It is quiet and nicely tucked away in an area of Duncanville that no one knows about (until now...I may regret this...lol). My dog takes me for walks here at least once a day. She LOVES it here! There is a neat little playground that is very well shaded so it stays cool. Me and my dog love the place! It is our little home away from home.

I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

They don't take cash so plan ahead (they do have e a machine that will convert your cash to a card if you need). We got the basic package (blue) for my ten year old and 13 of his friends for a birthday. We only stayed about 2 hours and for the blue pass that seemed like plenty. The kids got to do bumper cars, the battle area (like laser tag but with foam balls), the slides, the ball pit, the jumping area, and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. All in all the spot is clean, staffed well and a fun kids entertainment spot. We didn't do the zip lining or ropes courses but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything either.
