This is pretty much the friendliest, cleanest, most professional aesthetics spa out there. I LOVE the airbrush tans that Joette does. They last for a really long time and look really nice and even. It's a very natural looking airbrush tan compared to machines and other airbrushes I've had. She has amazing prices for the quality of service and end result that you get. Royal aesthetics has the high pressure tanning bed that I love too- you get a super dark nice tan in such few visits, and it lasts foreeeevvvver! Also can't forget about the exceptional eyebrow waxes! Again, such great prices and results! I recently had the choice to either wait for my appointment with Joette or go somewhere else, with my eyebrows looking awful during that wait, but I chose to wait to go to Joette because after having her do them, I can't imagine going back to the basic "clean up the outside" job most places do. I have come to Joette at Royal Aesthetics many times for brow waxes and facials. She is so talented and knows her craft. She has her own skin care line which is also amazing. Last weekend I got a spray tan before a weekend getaway to San Diego, and let me just RANT and RAVE about it! My tan is still looking fab and it has been 6 days. Her stuff is pure quality and lasts. My ((horrible)) experience: *Booked online 1 week prior to my appointment. *Tried calling salon 3 times so I can know what to expect, to no avail. No answer *Was running late by 5 min when I attempted to call to let them know. No answer. *was 10 min late by the time I got to the shop (my phone has time stamp of my location on the app I track my daughter with-so I know what time it was). *was greeted by someone in the front who walked me back to the eyelash girl. *as we proceeded down the hallway she says your client is here and she responded "yeah well we're late" then looked up and realized I was standing right there. *I go in and she looks at me and said, oh yeah and you still have your makeup on (yeah-I came straight from work) *I proceeded to tell her I tried calling to get an idea of what to expect & never got through. *she says she doesn't have the ability to call people who book online (like??? Is this not 2019) *basically proceeds to tell me I will not walk out of there with a full set of lashes. Says she has her own set of clientele but has no control over who books online. So her intent is to get me to leave there without her services, wouldn't you think? That's how I felt from the moment I got there. I don't want a half ass job. So, I explained I had made the appt and I was going on vacation in less than 2 days which leaves me no time to book elsewhere. *she said she was going on vacation next week herself and has no time. We are talking 10 minutes late and she was turning me down. We went back & forth and on the merry go round until (I'm pretty sure Joette's mom) comes in the room and said she overheard us and that the 10-15 min difference makes all the difference and that it isn't fair to the next customer who has to wait (I'm a fair person-I can understand that). But they were basically turning me away from THEIR business. I felt I had no other choice but to leave. *so I did. I told her I would never be back nor would any of my friends. so unprofessional. *I proceeded to walk out of the shop and when opening the door (with irritated force-nothing crazy dramatic) the wind caught the door and it stayed propped open. *Joette's mom proceeds to yell "don't you slam my door LADY!!!" Came storming out screaming at me like she wanted to fight me saying "that's vandalism!! Don't you ever slam my door!" *complete unprofessionalism at its finest. I would be mortified to run a business or work for a business that operates in such way. I actually feel badly for the eyelash girl. She has that millennial mentality but it doesn't help that she works for a crazy woman who is showing her exactly how NOT to run a business. I hope she smarts up and finds a much more professional space to rent room from. Good luck Royal Aesthetics. I truly hope you can keep your clientele. Hate to see another local business fail because of how you operate. **update- after I left I got an email saying I was a no show client & they would be charging me 1/2 of what my service would be. This was at 2:45. 30 min after my appt. Then at 3:45 (an hour and a half after my appt) I got an email with her trying to get me to confirm my appt. Wow. The single most unprofessional experience I've had in a very long time. 1. Website is atrocious and completely counterintuitive 2. I attempted to call the salon and Joette herself numerous times, leaving a message on both lines given with not even a single call back I waited almost a week and saw that there was a Groupon for the salon. I read ALL the fine print and no where does it state that it cannot be used for a specific service. I called Joette's direct line given on the Groupon to schedule. Again, no call back. At this point, I was upset and finally texted her and got a response with a promise to call me at a certain time. Nearly two hours after the specified time, I called her. She was extremely rude, she interrupted me before I could even get my question out, was condescending and very defensive when I merely pointed out her lack of clarity in the fine print of the Groupon. I told her I would get a refund from Groupon and offered her my reason for not choosing to see her. I was not rude, but I was direct when I told her it was do to my having to call over a dozen times to get hold of a human, and also due to the fact that she was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She made a flippant comment and hung up. If I were a business owner, I would appreciate the woman who told me directly why she wouldn't be using my services. I would not recommend seeing her, based on this experience. I HIGHLY value professionalism and respect. If you don't, go for it! read more

I just got the hydra facial last week and let me tell you what. I am probably her most difficult client as far as my skin is always unpredictable! Kind of has a mind of its own. When Joette said its a peel that wont make you peel. I laughed at her... every peel makes me peel! After this facial I felt like my skin was brand new. But the next day was even better! It felt like silk. I didnt want to put on any make up! I took before pictures and plan on doing more facials to show the progress!
