I came here for a relaxing time with my boyfriend and we both ended up very relaxed! We each opten in for full body wraps. The ambiance is very calm and relaxing. Makes you never want to leave. They allowed us a complimentary drink and also to hang by their hot spa as long as we needed to before and after our appointments. The location is great and the services are affordable. I've given this place a try twice once for a massage and once for a facial. Both service providers were so kind and did a great job. The facilities and grounds are nice however the service of the spa is not outstanding. Both times I have been here the showers have used razors, towels, no body lotion, and the floors have been dirty. There's dirty cups, used towels laying around. This time I had to go to the other fireside room to get water since they were out. The first time I had to go ask someone to clean them since they were so bad I wouldn't use it without them being cleaned. You have to call to the front or go and ask for tea or another drink. I gave it a second chance since the first time the lady said they were short staff and apologized for the lack of service. This time it that wasn't the case. I may or may not be back. I had two cancellations from other places and Yelp recommended this to me. It was very easy to get an appointment scheduled. This spa is stunning. Plenty of parking and so incredibly clean. It smelled so fresh inside. I was immediately offered a fresh iced water and it was so refreshing. My technician was Andrea and she was lovely. So attentive and very friendly. You can tell she cares about her work, I felt so relaxed and my feet look pretty & feel amazing. I got the Signature Spa Pedicure. The receptionist that checked me out Valeria? This was my first time at a fancy spa, and I was nervous. I booked a facial and a massage. When you step out of the bathroom/locker room, you are greeting by this giant fountain and are immediately immersed in the spa experience. You wait to get call for your service in a lounge and you are offered champagne, a mimosa, or tea. There's also water and chocolate covered blueberries to snack on. I started with a mimosa. I started with a facial by Vanessa and she was FABULOUS. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. I definitely will be coming back for her! After my facial, I got another mimosa. Then I had my massage. The masseuse did not tell me her name, but the massage itself was fine. After the massage....another mimosa (I know but they allow 3 complimentary so what the heck). I rested in the lounge while I sipped on my drink. As I said, I will definitely come back for Vanessa and maybe try another service. I did not have issues with contacting the spa. I left them a voicemail to scheduled and they called me back within a couple of hours. They scheduled me quickly and were friendly. I arranged a birthday massage for my husband and I along with lunch on their terrace. A week before my appointment I was notified that the massage I booked had to be changed because they didn't have the items needed. I was really annoyed since I was really looking forward to the mud wrap massage. The day of, we had lunch, it was delicious! We were served champagne and toasted for a great birthday! Our massages started with a sugar scrub and then an extremely relaxing massage! After our massages we relaxed in the jacuzzi, showered and went off to enjoy the evening in SF! Beautiful spa but not worth the price. I wanted to splurge and go for the best facial they offer the Glo2Facial. Big bucks but nothing special. I've had a lot of facials and this was one of the worst as far as impact on my skin, technology, and luxury. I really wanted to love this but I walked out feeling robbed. 50 minute with maybe 30 minute of product application/facial massage because 20 minutes of it was selecting product, chatting, mixing, rolling around looking for tools, etc. no hand, shoulder massage. I paid for my services up front, and tipped at the end. My 50 minute massage was a 40 minute massage. When I was informed my next service would be delayed 20ish minutes, I mentioned I hoped the massage wasn't shortened because I had not tipped up front. A bit later, a manager introduced herself and inquired about the shortened massage. I said it was 40 minutes, not 50, and that perhaps the service was shortened due to not tipping up front? Anyways, she said she would be discounting the service. When I went to close out, she had not discounted the service. My smaller tip for that service reflected the shortened massage. As a manager, you don't say you're going to discount something, and then not do it. My facial with Nyreli (sp?) was wonderful! read more

My first experience was short of amazing. The staff was friendly, the faculty was clean and cozy, the champagne mimosas (cranberry) were delicious. It's a delight to have this luxury service in my backyard (Brentwood/Antioch area) and not have to travel miles away to Napa. I've made it a habit of enjoying MANY spas over the years .. from high end resorts and hotels to strip malls. This place is definitely up there! A wonderful clean, relaxing vibe with great customer service and nice little perks like: a locker for your personal items; plush robe and spa slippers provided; access to their beautiful gardens and jacuzzi; and complimentary mimosas, champagne, or hot tea with light snacks (chocolate covered blueberries). Attention to detail elevates the experience and helps to make you truly feel pampered. The treatments were divine .. masseuse/Laura was excellent, as was the facial and the pedi. I hesitate posting this for fear of letting the secret out, but it truly was too wonderful of an experience to keep to myself. read more

I went for my spa treatment today. I wish I could give 3.5 stars, I'm not sure it was 4 stars considering the cost. My husband bought me the relaxation package for Christmas and I was so excited to use it. It is about a 3-4 week wait for an appointment, depending on what you're having done. The first thing was a massage, I had Kayla. She was kind and professional, the massage was very relaxing and the lotions and oils smelled very good. It was supposed to be 55 minutes long but it was closer to 45 minutes. Next was a facial, I had Deborah. She was great! This was my favorite part of the package. She really took her time, asked me what my concerns were, suggested some products, and she was just so attentive and friendly. My skin feels great! Last was my pedicure, I had Lenora. She was friendly, but it was VERY rushed. It should have been around 55 minutes, (the package is supposed to be for 3 hours), and it was only about 25-30 minutes. There were two other patrons getting pedicures in there when I came in, and they were still in there when I left. One of them was an employee and it was apparent that she received much more time and care than I did. I see from some of the other reviews that other customers received lunch or fruit/snacks with their packages, that may have changed due to covid, but I did not receive that. I would have liked to order lunch, and would have paid extra but I was told that is for residents of Trilogy only. Overall, the staff was nice, the facility is beautiful and clean, it was a good experience for the most part; but I think given the cost, it was lacking. read more

I didn't want to leave this review but I've given Sawa Spa way too many opportunities to get it right and they continue to ignore their promises. I did not receive the service that I paid for and was promised a refund. I am still waiting on that refund...since July 2024. My family has been going here for years. It was a tradition but unfortunately, after multiple calls, messages, emails to Avery and the Sawa spa team, I have to leave this review. The technician only did half of the body scrub treatment. When I asked about the rest of the treatment, she said we are done. I was so confused but didn't know what to do but pack my things up and speak to the front desk. I told the front desk, they had me pay for the entire service plus tip and they said a manager would call me. That never happened. Then I called, left messages. Spoke to someone who said the manager would call me...she did not. Finally started writing a review and found Avery's email, so I emailed..and a week later she called. We talked and she promised a refund. I'm still waiting. I even called and emailed one last time but I was ignored. It's just disappointing because I don't like leaving negative reviews but Sawa Spa gave me no choice. If you want to be respected as a customer and get the treatment you expect and pay for, take your money and go somewhere else. read more

OMG, where can I start? This place is amazing! When I called to book my massage, I spoke with someone named Mya. She answered all of my questions, provided some great suggestions, and made me feel super comfortable during our interaction. I booked and met a few friends for a birthday treat. The drive up to the facility is breathtaking it's so peaceful and serene. Upon arrival, I was met by a woman, I believe, named Rachel. She checked me in and escorted me to the locker room to get me prepared for my treatment. I opted for the Detox and Destress with the CBD oil. My masseuse was Irma. She was extremely professional, and my massage was amazing. Once our massages were finished, my friends and I met up in the waiting room, where we started enjoying our complimentary mimosas. We chilled in the hot tub and ordered a few appetizers until it was time to go. I can't wait to come back and book another massage, this time for myself and my boyfriend, and possibly eat lunch there and take in the peace and serenity this place has to offer. I always enjoy my time here. I had an excellent appt a while back with Laura, and have had other good massages. The nail salon ladies are so sweet and fun to get pampered by! Megan at the front desk on my last visit went above and beyond to help make Mother's Day a huge success for our multiple services, and it was absolutely SLAMMED at the front desk. She made us comfortable first and handled phones and walkins with a breeze! I was very impressed with her professionalism and care that we were happy. I try and have a massage by Michelle Jackson4 at least every other month- she does wonderful signature spa treatments!!!! Michelle knows where to put that extra pressure for those much needed knots. She's very tentative to your needs and places where it needs to be worked on. They have these wonderful scented oils that they use, it's so relaxing. I've also had massages from Karen Wong, another fantastic masseuse. I love the pampering you receive at Sawa. The staff checks in and asks if you want another mimosa or ginger pear tea. Sawa provided me my first spa experience and it was truly amazing! I booked an appointment for my mom, sister-in-law, sis, and myself two months in advance! It was meant to be a Mother's Day gift, but calling in May to schedule an appointment for the same month wasn't really in my favor - so beginning of July it was! You're advised to come at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment...the jacuzzi is open to guests for that time frame, but unfortunately it was out of order/really hot in Brentwood during our visit. After arriving, you fill out all necessary forms and waivers (it was our first time, so I'm sure if we were to come again we wouldn't have to do that paperwork as it would be on file). You're then taken to the changing room which comes equipped with lockers to put your personal items and the robe you'll be using for the duration of your stay. Your group also gets a personal waiting area that has a few couches and a cute water station. You are also brought champagne/mimosas/orange juice...whatever your heart desires. In the photos, I was expecting fruit...but we only got our drinks. My mom and sis-in-law received the trio package that comes with a full body, facial, and pedicure. This was $240 per person. My sister and I tried out the seaweed wrap - $180. It was SO relaxing! You're given a full body exfoliation, some time to wash it off, and then comes the serum that you get to kind of bake in after they wrap you with mylar. During this time I was given a scalp massage and I fell asleep...LOL Absolutely enjoyed this first experience! read more
