I always get a great haircut here. This spot is in Whitepoint shopping center located in College Point. If you are looking for a good barber, nobody is as talented as Nick. First, I get a hot towel wrapped around my head so that the shaving gel works its way into the scalp. Then, a slathering of warm shaving cream. Seeing as how I get my head shaved with a straight razor, Nick takes great care to do an incredible job, leaving me with no nicks or cuts. He will also buzz my eyebrows, nose hair, and ear hair free of charge. Ever since Covid-19, the price has gone up from $18 to $25. They currently use Booksy, so I can book an appointment in advance and not have to wait around to get a cut. There is no need to be concerned about parking they have tons of spots. read more

Updating my review because some faces have changed but the cuts are still on point! I usually get my cuts from Boris now. He takes his time with his clients and gets it the way you want it. His fades are on point and uses the scissors and razor to clean you right up. When he isn't available Nick cleans you right up, usually a little bit longer wait for him bc he brought costumers with him. I've also gotten a cut from Mark and Ramon (when he used to work there but moved out of state) Royal Barbershop is my go to for a good clean cut. They know what they are doing. read more

The haircut came out terrible, he didn't shape up the back of my hair...charged me 25 dollars for trash, and I gave him a 5 dollar tip cause he is older. Came here for the first time today. The shop is huge, lots of room, chairs and TVs. The guy cutting my hair was the owner, I didn't catch his name but he did a good job. I described what kind of cut I wanted and got exactly what I wanted and it was even better than I described it. I am very picky about my hair cuts. 1 star because the place was clean. 2nd star because I can't speak on the customer service of the other barbers just on the one that I interacted with, which was Mark. So my son has gone to this barbershop before but he usually goes with my brother or my mom. My son has gotten haircuts from Boris and Mark. I've heard nothing but good things about Boris but I've never met him. So I take my son this past weekend because he needed a cut and he wanted to come here because he knows the place and they give him lollipops. Not going to give a play by play so here's what happened with Mark. I totally understand barbers giving their input on the haircut you want, but to disregard what a customer wants and to tell a customer "I know I'm the professional" or "if you want me to do that then you should just buy the machine and do it at home" lol Fool I'm paying you. I don't need to be told what I can do when I'm paying you to cut my sons hair how I want it cut. And throughout the process of getting his haircut I'm asking questions to make sure that I get what I want because again, IM PAYING FOR IT. And that's when he hits me with the "I'm the professional" line because idk if he felt like I wasn't aware of that and then continues to say "oh but you're allowed because you're a mom" ???? I know I'm allowed to ask questions, 1. Because I am the mom. 2. Because I am a paying customer. My son liked his haircut but I did not. He did not do what I wanted and he didn't leave the back hairline the way I wanted and asked him to. But I'm assuming it's because "he's the professional." So if you expect a haircut for your son but want the barber to do what he wants and feels is best because again "he's the professional," then go right ahead and sit in Marks chair. read more

Ari is the man. He does great cuts and styles and only takes him about 15 minutes for each hair cut. He's professional and his tools are sanitized after every use.
