It did take a while since it was a Sunday, and there were parents and kids getting their hair cut. I waited about an hour and a half to get my haircut mainly because there was only one guy there, and it's during a pandemic. I could tell though that the guy was taking his time giving a haircut, taking about 20 minutes for the parents and kids. When it was my turn, I got the same treatment. I showed him a quick picture of what I had in mind, and the guy gave me something a lot better than I could imagine! The edges were clean cut, so I was pleasantly surprised. Not even the family salon I go to gave the much attention to detail. At the time of writing this review, it was a $20 haircut with a $5 tip. I definitely will go again! Although, maybe if they had more barbers, but this is during the pandemic, so maybe there's less people at the moment.

We had a fantastic experience at **Royal Barbershop** with our 1-year-old son, and I can't recommend them enough--especially **Ben**, who was absolutely incredible. Getting a haircut for a toddler can be tricky and scary (for the toddler AND Mama) , but Ben showed remarkable **patience, care, and professionalism** from start to finish. He took his time to make our little one feel comfortable, never rushed, and made sure the whole process felt calm and easy. You could tell right away that Ben is experienced with young children and genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for them. What really stood out was how attentive Ben was--not just to our son, but to us as parents. He paused several times throughout the haircut to check in with me, asking if I was happy with how it was going and if I wanted him to adjust anything. That level of communication and care made me feel completely at ease and confident that we were in good hands. The shop itself was clean, welcoming, and well-run, but it was Ben's calm demeanor and thoughtful approach that made all the difference. We're so grateful for the way he handled our son's haircut! I found the reviews here to be misleading. After my friend long convinced me to get a haircut I called in and was told they don't do "appointments" but "walk-ins" are welcome. I waited for a barber name nick since he's been mentioned in the past reviews. First and foremost the line was quite long assuming it was busy for the holidays There was a bench full of people ahead of me and I've waited an hour for my haircut which was done by nick. The result was horrible. I felt an extremely rushed experience which had me whipped out the shop in minutes and didn't want to deal with a crappy haircut before thanksgiving so ended up having to pay for 2 haircuts to get it fixed at another barbershop nearby. I found the reviews here to be misleading, and My friend won't be coming here anymore either. read more

Have been going to ari for the last 11 years. I'm so happy that he has his own store and now gets to run it the way he wants to, which is the right way. He is my longest relationship I've ever had besides alcohol. The shop he has opened with PARKING!!!! Is just outstanding, I never expected anything less from him. Hair is always on point and looks sharp when I walk out. I have been going to Royal Barbershop for my cuts - probably one of the best places around college point to be honest - I have been going to Boris every 2-3 weeks and he has always made time for me and always gone the extra mile. You could tell he takes pride in his work , has fun doing it and is just a honest guy. I always had barbers tell me I have difficult hair - but he takes his time and makes sires everything is all level and fresh! You need to check Boris for your next cut.
