Took my 3 yrs boy to got his haircut today morning . Very good and friendly . We are Asian , somehow we are also worried about that we are not too welcoming to get in barber shop. But here is very friendly , I didn't felt any pressure from the shop. The place neat and clear , open space , and do very good distancing While Alex doing my son hair cut his co worker asked for some change, after he touched the bill he quickly sanitized his both hand , this is a really mindful act, he cares about customer. For his professional, his haircut skill is awesome quick and stylist I only shows once of the picture, he can read my mind. I will definitely come back fornhin for doing my son haircut in the future ! I am so happy and glad that I tried out .i usually go to Chinese salon but I never satisfied with the style they did it to my littler one.. This place charged my 11 year old son $30 dollars for a haircut! His hair was already short and again he's a child. The poor kid only had $25 on him and the barber asked him to come back and pay the rest. I absolutely did not go pay the $5 dollars out of principal that's absolutely horrific that a child's haircut would be $30. Never again. So disappointed and he was embarrassed. Clean barbershop but lacks any real barber skill for the prices they charge. Nick in the first chair is socially awkward, shows no emotion, and stays really quiet the whole time he is cutting your hair. Loosen up buddy a little small talk isn't going hurt you. "Hey how you doing" goes a long way if you want customer retention. He spends 15 mins on your haircut but charges extra for any little thing. Any other barbershop that you go to if they use the buzzer to just line up your beard a.k.a. shape-up is included with the cut. Here they charge $10 more lol. Fades are not his specialty either he's too above that. He gives a tape-up instead of a legit fade. Barbers who hate what they do like to cut corners (literally) and think they are smarter than their clients. Overall, Nick gives mediocre average haircuts and that's because he sees clients as dollar signs instead of creating true satisfaction. Best best best place to get your haircut. My barber Anthony is one of the greatest barbers in the business. Not to mention that it's one of the cleanest barber shops I've been to in years. I especially like the compressed air that they have put at every barber station to get rid of all those pesky little hairs. Service. A++++. Stopped by here after I asked a friend where he got his cut. Place has plenty of parking around which is a plus. The place itself is clean and has a nice modern feel. They use an air compressor which is a nice touch to remove clipped hair around your neck and face. I usually try to avoid barbershops because they either cut my hair too short or incorrectly from what I ask. They gave me the perfect cut here. I will def be coming back read more

Got a haircut for multiple people and both haircuts were messed up, it's as if fading is unknown there. I walked out dreading ever having gone there and I didn't even tip. I wish I didn't have to give a star at all, but it wasn't an option. The only barber that seemed to know what he was doing was on the first chair by the door. I'd recommend staying away from this barbershop if you want to keep yourself from walking out upset. This makes me want to get my barber's certification and working there; so I can show them how to properly cut and fade. Smh, and to think I was charged for a really bad attempt. Definitely not interested in supporting this business, and will continue my search for a decent barber. read more

Went today to get my son's haircut.....we have had so many issues with people cutting his hair incorrectly.....well not here...Gene immediately new how to cut his hair and was excellent with my son....not to mention very entertaining when while ...we waited.,.so happy to have found Vintage and Gene.....he has heart and passion in what he is doing.....I Godidnt in w with t was cash only...So he says drop it off whenever....and gives my son a hair style product on him...WOW!!! If you want a high-quality haircut, with a cool and professional barber atmosphere, you need to hit up this barbershop. My go-to cut is a high fade and Nick is the best I've ever seen at it. His attention to detail everytime I sit in his chair is just what you want, if you require a good haircut everytime like I do. Nick has also cut my son's hair many times, and he skills it with an awesome tape-up every time. But more importantly he shows tremendous patience with my shy and fussy 7-year-old son. On the rare day where Nick is not around I'll sit in Alex's chair and get the same attention to detail, and an awesome cut. While I don't get haircuts from the rest of the staff I find everyone to be cool and easy to talk to...place is pleasant. In addition to getting an awesome haircut, the wait times for a cut tend to be very reasonable. I think this is because the entire staff works at a professional pace, and not because they are just rushing through your cut. While I don't go to the barbershop for entertainment, they have several tvs up on the wall. The place is neat, newly renovated and very comfortable. Highly recommend this shop. read more

Overall horrible experience from the old guy with the horrible odor of cigarettes. I clearly told him not to touch the top of my hair, to only cut the sides. But before I could even say anything he already had his scissors out and he was cutting away at my forehead. Onto the beard I asked for a easy shape up , can't go wrong there right? Wrong! He started trimming away at my beard when I clearly asked just to touch up the lines even after that he pushed my beard way lower then it's supposed to be and ending up not even lining up the neck. Not to mention how overly priced this horrible haircut was. If I'm paying $27 I expect a quality haircut. Will never return here again. read more

Moved to Whitestone a few months back and was looking for a barber, that's when I came across Vintage.. Yea it's alittle out of the way considering the 5 barber shops that are in a 1 mile radius of where I'm staying, but I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. My guy was Anthony and he did exactly what I was looking for . He took his time with my fade, which I like, and make sure everything was even. I'm sure he must do 100 fades a week but he didn't rush through it and I appreciate that . The second time I went was the same great experience. Went here based on a few recommendations. Went in for a basic haircut and a shape up on my 6-inch beard. Came out pissed off with a half inch beard. Any place that uses clippers on a beard should be burned to the ground. I wouldn't send a stray dog here to get its ass shaved. Skip Vintage.
