I came here for a year of unlimited laser treatments ($300 from Groupon). You don't actually need the Groupon as they offer the same deal in the salon. Unlimited one year but you need to spread out each treatment by a couple of weeks - so I got 7 treatments for the year. --- Pros --- - Decent location, near King station off Yonge Street - Looks elegant and pretty inside - Free iphone charging usb spots in the waiting area --- Cons --- - The treatment provided by each technician were different, some started the laser with very high heat. While others said I shouldn't be able to feel the heat and had the heat setting low. I felt the inconsistency meant my hair wasn't removed properly... - For a few times now, even if my appointment is at e.g. 2pm, I will likely not get seen until 2:30pm. And I remember a girl ahead of me was an hour behind her appointment. - The service is mediocre. - Each laser treatment only takes 5-10 minutes? You might as well do it at home where you can be careful and take your time. - After your one year of unlimited treatment is done, they didn't inform me and booked my for my next appointment where I showed up and the staff said I need to pay for another year or pay for one session. I think that is quite unprofessional. --- Overall --- I am really happy to have finished all my treatments so I can finally express my thoughts and feelings with other people here. I have gone to about 5 places in the city for laser hair removal and Royal Blush is for sure one of my favourites. The main reason - the laser is not painful! Great service, clean facilities, friendly staff. (I've even been given gift bags for no reason.) Always a lovely experience going to Royal Blush. I normally don't give bad reviews and I support local businesses but I had to share my last experience, which was a bad one. I tried this place for manicure as it was 5 minutes away from my condo.place is clean, people are friendly and the job was nicely done October /November 2020 I decided to take their laser package and I did 1 session and paid half of the package. All went well until we had another lockdown and we didn't know when salons or any other places will open again. June 2021 they announced that they are moving to a new location which is Vaughan and they are closing the downtown one. I messaged them right away asking what will happen to my package and I explained that it will take me 1h30 if I take public transportation as I don't have a car nor even drive. Uber will cost me more than $100 for a round trip so its not worth it. They responded that they will honour my package but they don't do refunds. How is this fair? I'm not the one who moved, the business decided to move and I'm sure a lot of people like me chose places dowoclose to their place for convenience. You're telling me that it's fair that I paid $600 for 1 session of laser and that's it? Because I will not be able to get to their place. I told them that's money down the drain and that was it, never heard from them nor an apology. I have been going to Royal blush Salon and Spa for about a year now. I am having my laser treatments. They are very professional and have the latest machines. I met Nida Rizki there, the hair stylist. I have had an amazing experience dealing with Nida each time. She is through, great at her job, courteous and accommodating. She has cut my hair, colored and blow dried it on several occasions now. She also makes these in home all natural oils and gives me an oil massage. This has left my hair glowing and healthier. She gives you honest and sincere and advise. She even went to the extent of coming in on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule. I would certainly recommend her to all. This review is solely for the laser treatment at this spa. Today was my second laser session and I am not impressed. I only paid about $250 for a year of unlimited laser here via Groupon (usually I pay $200 per session at other salons). I knew it was too good to be true and I wish I had trusted my instincts. I believe I am a laser expert at this point; I've had over 15 sessions of laser on my legs over 4 years in 4 different cities. I am an extremely hairy fair skinned East-Indian, and although my hair growth has significantly decreased over the years, it has not completely disappeared. In my past experiences, when I get my legs lasered, there is a moderate amount of pain, and each appointment is approx. 45 mins to 1.5 hours. While I only pay for legs, they always do my toes/ feet and up to my underwear line. At OSole, each appointment is less than FIVE minutes (I timed it today- 4 mins total)! They refuse to do my toes (which have a total of 10 hairs spread over 10 toes!!), and stay as far away from my bikini as possible. There is also no change in hair growth AT ALL after the first session. There is also no pain. But quite frankly, I'd rather have severe pain and see results, rather than no pain and no results. I did complain twice. Each time they said I need to give it 3 sessions at least to see results. Well, we'll see about that. And I'm willing to change this review if I notice any difference in my hair growth. read more

Very classy and elegant salon, house to a colour genius. When you need colour, Al is your guy - hands down. I have never left his salon not being 100% satisfied with my colour. My girlfriend, despite living in Montreal now will only have her colour be trusted to O Sole and squeezes her appointment in each time she hits Toronto. I also came here initially for a Groupon laser package and was nervous. But Cynthia (owner) described everything so well and thoroughly (& she is so patient and has such a soothing voice) that I felt at ease. I have had laser by the Soprano XL in the past and it works very well (one of the top 2 lasers based on my online research), but I needed a second batch of 6 sessions on my legs which is typical. The deal that Osole provides for laser for either 3 or 6 areas is unbeatable! (With or without the Groupon). Knowledge: 5/5 Cindy and her daughter (who helps out from time to time) are both very knowledgeable about the theory of laser, skin type and hair growth patterns. And give you a realistic idea of what you can expect eg possibly needing laser touch up in a few months. Other laser staff are good but good to have first consult with Cindy as she is an expert & used to teach it. Ambience/Service: 5/5 Very nice decor and laser rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The waiting area is comfortable too and they offer you water. Appointments run on time typically which i really appreciated. You leave with the date and time of your next appointment. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. And they work fast! I was always amazed at how quickly they got me out of there while still being friendly & professional and kind. Now they have 2 laser rooms whereas before they only had one. Prices: 5/5 I haven't found such good laser deals/prices with a "new" Soprano XL laser (watch out for those Groupon places that are using a 15-20 year old machine!) I bought a 2nd package as it was more economical than just getting one area done alone. And they synced the timing so I was just coming once for all of it (other than the 2 sessions where we played catch up, meaning I came for two separate appointments, so that in the future, all areas could be done in one visit, which is was fine with me). Last thing: Would I recommend to a friend? YES! And I already have and she loves them too. Next I want to try a pedicure there now that nice weather is here. read more

Extremely disappointed in my last visit. I got there on time only to see that the lady who does my laser was getting her hair dyed! She then took a break from her own procedure to come in (with her gown still on, wet dye in her hair,) quickly get my laser done - which you could tell was rushed and then run out to go get her hair finished. It was incredibly unprofessional, frustrating to smell the dye in the room and have her rush through the procedure. For example, halfway through my laser she asked if I had any tattoos - because that was bad while lasering --- aren't those questions you ask before you start? read more

I can't stand this place. I bought a Groupon for laser and wasted my time and money by coming here. I don't see any results even though I should have by now. Cynthia the owner is such a phony too. She is all nice and sweet until she gets your money. Once she gets it, good luck with any issues you may have because she just does not care! If someone cares about keeping their clients and making a good impression, they will take some time out of their day to talk to you and listen to your concerns. Cynthia just can't be bothered. Instead, she gets others (e.g. Nida) to do the work for her even though they are not informed of the situation or what is going on. I just can't stand fake people and wish I never spent a dime in this place. I wouldn't recommend this salon to my worst enemy. Giving a one star rating is generous! PS. Hi, I visited this salon and Nida gave me haircut, Kerastse Treatment and blowdry. Nida did a brilliant job with my hair. I was on a time crunch as I head back to the office and she worked within the timing provided. The location is convenient bevause it is very close to the financial district. I had my hair and makeup done for a wedding by Nida. I really don't like heavy makeup, and she did my makeup beautifully - I received numerous compliments! My hair was styled in gorgeous loose waves with lots of body. Nida is an extremely warm person, who made the entire experience wonderful. I bought a Groupon for a year of laser hair removal treatments for my legs. During my assessment, I was told that I am an ideal candidate for laser since my hair is dark and my skin is a very fair olive tone. A year later, my results are very poor: I MIGHT have a tiny bit of hair reduction but it's certainly negligible. I will have to shave my legs as often as I did before. I must also say that I'm not that picky; I would have been happy to have much less hair but still quite a bit of softer hair. I still have lots of coarse stuff. I was told that I would have to do another full year but considering that I have almost or no results, I'd feel foolish to do this again for an entire year. At the end of my last treatment, the technician just said "there is only one way to find out if your results will improve" --not very reassuring if I'm going to spend another large sum of money. I am also questioning the assessment. I'm told that other salons tweeze some hairs to determine whether the root is the right colour. I have dark hair but I could have significant amounts of light coloured roots. My hair, head and body, actually has quite a bit of natural highlight. Perhaps another place would have told me that this can greatly impact my results. read more

This is a nice salon and I believe the owner to be well-intentioned. They are however one of the most disorganized spas I have ever attended. I purchased a laser gift certificate and have had to go every 6 weeks for my treatments. I won't even get into the logistical horror stories but they vary from them being double-booked, to them not having me in their books at all to them being a good 25 minutes late. Not to mention that they don't call to confirm appointments, keep in mind these are booked 6-8 weeks apart! I have expressed this to the owner several times but she defends her spa as being organized. It seems that they need a dedicated receptionist to manage the front desk, like most salons/spas do. Groupon: Lessons Learned & Warning to All--Fraudulent Offer I just learned the hard way to do more homework before purchasing a Groupon and feel compelled to share so no one else gets ripped off. I purchased an "unlimited" laser service from Royal Blush Salon & Spa. It said it was unlimited for a year and the discount was 91%. I read reviews to make sure it wasn't some shady place (had those experiences as well). It had pretty good reviews on several sources. 1. The deal misrepresented itself--it isn't unlimited. Maximum of 5 sessions When I challenged the proprietor about this she said she had complained to Groupon about changing "unlimited" on her offer. This was a lie because I had been tracking the deals and seen this featured at least 4 times in the past 18 months. 2. This discount was fabricated. a) The average retail price in Toronto for same similar service was about 13-20% more vs. a 91% discount. b) When I arrived, I saw a rate card for the same session at exactly the same price. 3. Negative reviews are "managed". There are a certain number of negative reviews businesses can have removed from Yelp. Groupon does have a dispute policy that allows their customers to also have negative reviews removed so you are less likely to get a true sense of the business's customer experiences. Other Levels of Customer Service Dissatisfaction Each time I had a session I was always unhappy. I had done my own little market test and tried three different businesses to make a decision on who to use in the future. Here's what I found: A. Two removed make-up, Royal Blush Salon did not. After 5 sessions I was told it was my responsibility even though I asked whether it was necessary and told no. B. Two kept files to track the hair growth and then decide when to book the next appoint. Royal Blush Salon did not. They automatically had a printed paper from the receptionist telling you when your next appointment would be which would be exactly 8 weeks. It was not based on your response to the treatment. C. Two added aloe to reduce the reaction to the treatment. Royal Blush Salon did not. D. Two had the same treatment positions to maximize effectiveness. Royal Blush Salon's appointment lengths were different depending on the technician and they did very little to position you in the optimal positions. On several occasions I had attempted to challenge the proprietor on this and she quickly escalated this to a major argument. Today, she said my 5 "unlimited" sessions were done and said she could not access my paperwork to verify what was agreed to. She actually yelled at me. In my entire life, I have never yelled back or raised my voice at a service person for fear they would pee in my soup or give me an inferior treatment/service. Today, I was prepared to walk away (and I had said that to myself the last time she yelled at me). So please stay away from Royal Blush Salon. It was well worth the drive all the way up to Leslie and Sheppard Ave. to get professional treatment for the same or lower price. read more

This is a review based on the one year laser hair removal treatment I got from Royal blush. It was my first time getting laser hair removal and the result is amazing. The laser removal process was quick and pain free. I did full legs and after about 4 treatments the result was becoming very visible. Leslie helped me for most of my appointments and she's very professional with what she's doing and she's super friendly. I have been in OSole for laser treatment for many sessions. The main reason I chose OSole was that their Groupon hair removal package was so cheap. But what a waste of money. I wish I could give a 0 rating to Osole I was really disappointed about this place. The staff is really unprofessional in doing their job. When they start doing the laser, you have the feeling that they just want to finish it as soon as they can. They don't care if they have applied the laser to all area properly or not. Each time I remind them that the laser has not been applied to all the treatment area properly, but they don't care and reply we know we are doing it right. They don't have a record of my progress, so every time they set their laser at some random number which does not seem right to me comparing to other places I have been. Although I have had many sessions for almost a year, it was totally a useless process for me, and I see all my hair are growing back. When I wanted to purchase their service, they told me that their laser device is very effective and I will see the result after 3, or 4 sessions, and after 7 ot 8 sessions I will lose more than 95% of the hair. However, being there 8 sessions I see no significant hair removal and those parts that 'seem' to lose hair are growing back. Do a bit more search on the laser device that you want to select, don't be fooled by some good reviews that you see here, I really don't know where they come from. Two of my friend have been in this place for laser, and they both agree with me in what I said. If you don't want to throw your money away, avoid this place for laser (I don't know about their other stuff like nail or hair job). read more

After several sessions I got minimal results (20%) while they told me I should see over 90% hair reduction after 8 sessions. I had a very negative experience with rude staff at this spa. After being a paying customer for two years, I had a staff aggressively accuse me of accepting services outside of the parameters of my Groupon. I was told to pay an additional 100 dollars upfront or would not be able to return for additional appointments. I tried to speak to the owner about this but was instead shut down and never properly listened to. After this experience, I don't feel comfortable returning. got a laser groupon here - have only been for 2 sessions but already know it won't work. I'm no stranger to laser and ive NEVER been somewhere where my entire face and brazliain are done in under 4 minutes. even when I said there is ZERO pain (there should be some sort of feeling at least as you go higher) the lady said it was fine and did not go higher. outside of the fact they do it for 30 seconds as opposed to a more thorough amount of time to kill the hairs, the service is minimal and overall not happy at all. wish i purchased a groupon elsewhere, what a waste of money :( they even had a special where you could get parts for $20 and i was non shaven and they said it was fine and tried to encourage me to do it? a) one lazer treatment on a random body part will do nothing and b) i've never heard another technician encourage you to do laser with visible hairs.. they would burn off.. then again on the lowest heat and 2 seconds worth of work, maybe not. read more

Don't go here! Terrible customer service. While getting laser hair removal the technician had no idea what she was doing. She literally dropped the laser gun on my face. She needed more training. I informed the owner and she didnt so anything about it. They also made me come in for a consultation session that could have easily been done over the phone. I bought a laser hair remover package a year ago and was told that in the beginning you can go every 6 weeks and 7 to 8 weeks in the end The owner was nice maybe in my first 2 visits after that she just doesn't care about you anymore or the customer service you get there, every time you go is someone new taking care of you so if she can't keep her employees that is a bad sign but the main problem I had was today, I bought the package in May so I thought I would still have one more appointment in May this year There was a new manager that said today was my last appointment because I signed up in May 5th 2016 ,but if you count the weeks from today 7 weeks would be May 2nd and 8 weeks May 9 which was the day she said it supposed to be so it's was only 5 days after one year contract I asked if she could do anything for me because honestly I haven't seeing much result ,this lady said she would try to speak to the owner and she would let me know exactly 30 min after I was done the girl that did my laser(who was ferly new) said the manager or owner weren't there and today was my last appointment and if I had any question to call next day So yeah they didn't even had the decency of talking to me in person and lied saying that they weren't there because 15 min after I left I had to pass by the salon again and saw both of them there I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone! read more

This salon is a complete rip off. They barely spend time on you during the laser sessions so your results aren't good. The owner of the place is rude. She doesn't let you reschedule appointments if you're sick, even though you've already paid for all the appointments in advance. Completely terrible results and customer service.
