I live in Florida and had a horrible experience with another florist last year so I tried Jane's and I will be using them from now on. I requested an early delivery on Christmas Eve and they came through for me. My aunt and uncle are seniors and go to bed early and last year I reserved flowers with another shop- weeks ahead for a December 20th delivery. I requested an early in the day delivery and they delivered them at 8pm at night and they were horrible looking for more money. I also sent my aunt a custom birthday arrangement in January from Jane's and those were really beautiful as well. I requested all pastels and soft with curly willow and it was better than I expected. I worked at a local flower shop for many years in Sarasota and I am really impressed by Jane's quality of flowers and pricing. People don't realize how expensive flowers have gotten in recent years but I really think Jane's has great pricing and is worth every penny.

Tara has an EXTREMELY poor attitude and a long reputation of poorly talking to clients either in person or on social media. She insists that she has FULL CONTROL over your event, and we never allowed to pick or choose the flowers for our own wedding. Instead, we were told that she buys items in bulk, and "I can't control Mother Nature". Our wedding is on a Sunday so it was obvious Tara was only planning on using scraps and left over items from the weddings before ours. After all, she ONLY buys in bulk to do a handful weddings at a time. He emails were very negative and for a person who should be the happy flower vendor is only full of negative comments. We told not to talk to her and let her do her own thing. Just roll over and pay her with no idea what we paid for. We NEVER received a written plan and details of the florals she was planning. As far as an itemized list and pricing, IT NEVER CAME. There are plenty of other flower vendors to choose from that will be transparent with you and work WITH YOU. Tara on the other hand wants to be paid thousands of dollars without a plan, details and to be "left alone" to do whatever the heck she wants to short cut so she can line her pockets with money she historical over charges for. It also broke before the reception. - The father of the bride's boutonniere started falling apart and needed to be fixed. - The mother of the groom's wrist corsage fell apart before the reception. - The mother of the bride's wrist corsage also started to fall apart. It was not done how we discussed it would be, with Tara , prior to our wedding. - The mother of the bride , corsage Tara made was 3 buds glued to an ivy leaf, which was glued to a wide satin ribbon. Which fell apart prior to the reception. - No boutonniere made for my brother. It was a corsage instead. We asked Tara for help fixing this mistake. To which she replied and I quote "no". We had to make the corsage into a boutonniere an hour before the wedding ceremony. Tara was told of the errors that were made, the day of my wedding. To which she had no solution, and we were left trying to figure it out on our own. The quality we were promised was not fulfilled. We were left greatly disappointed. Unfortunately, we were locked in with Jena Paige due to her being the exclusive florist for our venue. From the very beginning, communication was chaotic. I spoke to her over the course of 3 fifteen minute phone calls the entire in which I was constantly being interrupted. She would promise to attend meetings and then simply never show up, with no explanation. Every attempt to get clarity felt like pulling teeth. Instead of being a supportive vendor during an already emotional process, she was often combative, dismissive, and, at times, outright rude. She even argued with my mother **on the morning of my wedding**, which is the last thing any bride should have to deal with on that day. It was devastating. And then came the actual flowers -- the part we were trusting her with the most. We received **wilted, dead florals**, pink flowers we explicitly said we did *not* want, arrangements that were **tiny, dense, and not at all what we paid for**, and in some cases, pieces that were simply **missing**. We had no backup option because she was the exclusive florist for our venue, and she did not deliver the quality, professionalism, or product we were promised. What makes this even more painful is that I had reached out time and time again to both the Venue and Jena to convey my worry and lack of confidence in receiving what was ordered and we were still wildly disappointed. When we reached out privately to have a reasonable conversation about these issues, she denied everything -- every concern, every discrepancy, every missing item. Your florist should make your wedding more beautiful, not more stressful. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite, and I would strongly caution other couples to think carefully before trusting this vendor with something so important.

We were so lucky that our friends referred us to Amy at Love & Lace, who designed and executed our…read moreperfect, seamless wedding day and was incredible to work with throughout the process. My now-husband was hesitant to spend the money for a wedding planner in the beginning, but he very quickly realized the stress relief she provided was more than worth the investment. Amy met with us early in the process to tour the venue we had already selected, get to know us, and start to design our day. Since we didn't have a set vision, she put together two mood boards to gather our feedback which she used to put together our design board. She then guided us toward the perfect vendor team to bring that board to life and helped us to review all of our vendor contracts. From there, she was involved in most, if not all, of our vendor meetings, asking questions we would have never thought to ask and keeping track of all of our details for us. She sent us a monthly to-do list to help us prioritize our tasks and even reminded us when our payments were due. She made herself readily available by text and email throughout the planning process and answered even the smallest of questions with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm. She even helped us choose items for gift bags for our hotel guests, which she then assembled and dropped at the hotel for us. On our wedding day itself, she coordinated our vendors, ensured all decor items were set up as we intended, and made sure my husband, VIP family members, and I had everything we needed. In summary, Amy is incredibly detailed and thorough as well as sweet, enthusiastic, and caring, which makes her an absolute dream to work with, and we are so glad that we did!
