When Dr. Haighi was unhappy with the progress of my trays I had new scans done at no additional cost. It didn't take long to get my new trays but had a bit of miscommunication with the follow up appointment. Once I got to the office, they took my temp and Greta, the tech, did a great job adding my new attachments. Having a very small jaw it is always a challenge for her but she was able to get done quickly. I got a cleaning here last year in summer 2022. I recently received a $480 bill from this office for the cleaning, and when I called the office to clear it up, they never called me back. It was only when I followed up again over the phone that they told me it was a mistake. I was really upset to receive the bill, and even more upset at the lack of customer service in handling the misunderstanding (when I first called, they never called me back, even after I left my number)! I just don't feel like you should have to chase down a dental office to speak to them, especially when they've sent you letters about a delinquent charge in the three figures. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY RUINED MY MOUTH AND PUT ME IN THE HOSPITAL FROM A ROOT CANAL INFECTION! The cavity was so bad that I had a root canal... That was the most pain I've ever experienced in my life! Because it was a difficult tooth he had to inject the numbing fluid right into the tooth! When I examined the temporary crown this morning, you can actually SEE the tooth inside it and the cut of the tooth makes me have a gap between my teeth (which I never had). I have an important event this Sunday so I'm going to call to see if I could go back in so he can make the tooth presentable. I'm known for my smile and need to avoid smiling now because the tooth looks so out of place! To top it off, I tried to get my prescription filled and it was someone else's! They are lucky I'm not some creep that steals people's information because ALL of this woman's info was on the prescription! It makes me question where my prescription is... Again, do NOT go here! I had been wearing the same Invisalign retainer for the last 12 years...until I finally lost it! I called around to many dentists and orthodontists in the area and could not find one that could get me a replacement quickly. Most places said it would be a few weeks to get an appointment, and then another few weeks to get the retainer back from the lab. My teeth would definitely shift if I had to wait that long to get a replacement retainer! I was pretty surprised when Royal Care said they could get me a replacement retainer within the same day. Turns out, they actually take the impressions, make the mould and retainer in their own office. They squeezed me in the same day that I called and made my retainer within 30 minutes. It is so much more comfortable than my old retainer and cost less than $200 (for just the upper). I am pretty happy I found this place and would definitely go back. read more

Beware of Royal Care Dentistry coupons for teeth cleaning. The $89 bargain rate for teeth cleaning is only valid if the dentist decides that you are "eligible". The dentist may say that you require a "deep cleaning" which is a very costly, and possibly unnecessary procedure. Meanwhile, you will have already been billed up front for the exam and X-rays. Since when does a patient not have the right to request the regular cleaning for $89? This coupon is a version of bait and switch! I went to the dentist in order to get a crown replaced. The dentist took X-rays and quickly came to the conclusion the tooth was gone and get an implant. He also said there was no reason to cement the crown back on. This was the red flag for me as I felt it could open my tooth up for more decay and infection. He seemed like he didn't want to waste his time. Luckily I went to multiple other dentists who said the tooth was salvageable. We also got into another miscommunication regarding the billing of the XRays. I called them directly so we can work it out, and it escalated to an altercation with the dentist himself. He had the audacity to call me and yell at me about how he lost money on me. He even gave me a breakdown of the cost of cement ($50) and overhead ($750). I'm sure he didn't mean to handle it this way, but it's apparent all he cares about is money. read more

Therefore I was scheduled an appointment when the orthodontist wasn't in. I found this office after moving to Gaithersburg a year ago and was looking for a dentist closer to home rather than having to hike all the way out to Arlington to my previous dentist. I came into the office as a new patient. I was going to an office close by however I felt that what I was paying in comparison to my insurance coverage did not add up. I am so thankful that I reached out to Royal Care They accepted my insurance and were able to break down everything for me. I was very happy with my first visit to Dr. H's office. The receptionists were kind and helpful. The dental hygienist was calm, pleasant and attentive. Dr. H. spent almost the whole time with me for the appointment. He performed the cleaning stating that he prefers it that way, so he can really see the condition of his patients teeth. He also understood my tight financial situation since I am temporarily unemployed. He worked with me and gave me excellent service. The shots to numb my mouth didn't hurt too much. His demeanor is gentle and kind. The technology he used was advanced. He was able to show me the X-rays while I was in the dental chair. Hands down BEST dentist I've ever gone to. He is so amazing in what he does. He very professional, super patient... The way he does his check up and explains everything is phenomenal. I went to couple of other dentist and they gave me a huge list of things i needed to get done, my best friend introduced me to Doctor Payam... I made an appointment to see him. the staff were very friendly and nice, his assistant patiently took all the ex-rays i needed than doctor Payam came to see me and went over the results of my ex-rays. Went to them for a teeth whitening I bought through Groupon. Everyone was very nice and professional, but I was not impressed by the teeth whitening. Had been warned that whiter spots would get whiter, but after I was finished my teeth are all an inconsistent shade of white... edges of the teeth seem whiter and random streaks through the teeth. The technician said she had warned me and that was just how my teeth were made. I had two bright white spots at the edge of two teeth but that was it... did not expect my teeth to look tye dyed white. Wish I had never done it, now I am worried I will have to pay all over again to get them ultra bright white or wait for them to yellow again (defeating the purpose). read more

I found Royal Care by searching for dentists taking my Kaiser insurance, but I used to teach medical school so I'm very picky about health care providers and researched his educational training and professional experience - very satisfactory. The initial exam included an assessment of possible complicating health issues. He provided a detailed, written proposal for treatment, with pricing of every item, and explained the need for each with reference to x-rays and images. For some items he explained pros and cons and offered alternatives - very professional. His office is well-equipped and has the most up-to-date technology. Sterile procedures are well-maintained and general working discipline is efficient and competent. Local anesthesia is well-managed and over the course of several visits I experienced no discomfort. The end result was completely satisfactory in appearance and quality. Dr. Haghighi personally conveys real concern for his patients and takes time to patiently answer all questions and concerns.
