When i arrived for my appointment loud music was playing on the TV the lights were off and i was asked to sit down, no explaniation of "so and so will be with you soon" or and offer of a cup of tea or coffee, which i was so looking forward to. The vibe felt off and i actually thought about leaving then and there. The girl who cut my hair seemed extreamly inexperienced, i had to ask her to cut more off my hair a few times. its still too long, i asked her to give it a slight wave when styling she curled it. I felt like my requests werent listened too, at the end she talked at me for a good 20 mins about her old work places and how awful her boss was, and he ex boyfriend which i found pretty poor form. I called to make an appointment to see if i could get the cut fixed, the person who answered the phone again just said "hello" i needed to confirm once again i have called Kovo hair. Person offered me a time, we agreed on time, then she said no actually come in at another time that didnt suit me, so i just left it. She called me back again, i missed her call, left a message for her to call me back, and have not heard back. Going somewhere else today to have the hair cut i actually wanted in the first place. Do not recommend. expensive, poor quality,poor service.

All site details shown as open and working during the break in between Christmas and New Year. So after walking around the Docklands and getting there, the shop was closed. We appreciate people need time off and it's Christmas but when your planning your time in and around the city, please keep your opening times open updated. Shame we wanted to try you guys out.

It was just before closing but they welcomed me like they were happy to see me. Luckily I got Franco. He was extremely friendly and really knows how to handle the scissors. He gave me a fantastic haircut and beard trim. I heartily recommend The Barber Club in the Docklands and be sure to ask for Franco!

The attention is on your hair and seeing as you are in a hair salon, this seems appropriate. Behind the front section the salon opens out into a washing area and more mirrors, this is a little more secluded and you won't need to feel like hiding when you have tin foil sticking out of your hair at odd angles. Duesenberg is manned by the owner Rob and his wife as well as several other hairdressers and apprentices. Armed with hair dryers, scissors, brushes, combs and a hell of a lot of product, Duesenberg will change your life - through your hair. On a more serious note I really do think it's a great salon. I think the staff are wonderful and very friendly (they are always offering coffees and teas, which wins them major brownie points in my book), but I think it's just a little too expensive. That's my only issue. For a half head of foils and a cut from a senior stylist I was looking at the region of around $200. It was just a little too much for me, but if you've got the money then I recommend Duesenberg with all my heart.

The stylists will come and go, but they always select lovely staff and every person at their salon is professional, caring, respectful, friendly and good at their craft. I have always had a positive experience here - even when I have personally a bad day, they will recognise that and give me the space I need. They are good, their products are nice and their service is always exemplary. They are very caring and I recommend them heartily.

The chap cutting my hair must have been having a bad day and decided to take it out on me! He kept shaving my hair in the most aggressive way that felt anything but gentle and careful - more like a careless slap with the electric razor and he kept catching my ears with it. Then he took out the water spay and it felt like he was aiming for my face instead of the top of my head. Definitely will not be going here again and would not recommend it to anyone

Even after all this time, you can still get a clean, simple no fuss crew cut for $15, without having to spend a king's ransom on a cut and style faff about. I have thick hair, so when it grows, it looks more like a Boofro than anything else (That's a Boof Afro.) Yep, it gets all boofy and I look goofy and silly, so the only way is to shave it off. Each barber I've had has always been great; David only hires the best, and only hires reliable people with experience. There's not much of the playing first and second chair fiddle here, mostly it is a shared enterprise, done evenly. There are some stand out favorite barbers though that do get popular. For me, It doesn't matter so much. I've only ever really gotten a crew cut form here, so that's all I can speak for but I've never been disappointed. Great results.

I got my eyebrows done there yesterday and it was not done properly…read more I was a new customer and saw that this store was highly rated. She rushed my brows so she could serve her regular customer quicker. She wasn't friendly or welcoming, she didn't even ask what i wanted or even start a conversation but instead she spoke to her regular customer that was waiting. I definitely don't recommend first timers or any referrals on my behalf. Yesterday would definitely be my first and LAST time back there.
