We are up here to see the Galt 4th of July festivities. My…read moredaughter's clan is responsible for the Armor vehicles in the parade and on display here at the BW. Once I had confirmed my time off for the holiday I went on line to make hotel arrangements. The web site for the hotel was easy and straight forward, I booked a king suite which included a jacuzzi tub and a hot breakfast. I had called before we left the house to confirm the room and to advise the front desk of our late check in for our room. After a four hour drive we had arrived at the BW, there were a few parking spots and here we are. The check in was easeful, our room was just down the hall, yeah. All is good, clean room and bathroom, jacuzzi tub, tv worked, large mini fridge, plenty of coffee, we cranked the AC and slept. Breakfast was hot premade scrambled eggs, link sausage, a Belgian wafflle maker, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea and dispenser juice, Certainly good enough. After the parade we met up the kids and joined in with the pool party. The pool water was cool enough to refresh the jacuzzi not too hot to be uncomfortable. As the party faded we were back in the room to wash off in the big jacuzzi tub. Water temperature was good and the jets were good and strong. Then it was nighttime for fireworks and thats it really, easy check out and home we went...lovely folks own the franchise and all of the staff were friendly and helpful Thank you Foodguy-martin

She answered all our questions. Would definitely come back thanks to her!! Hope you were AWESOME!!! The room was cute loved that the fan stayed on all night. I need that white noise. I guess this room hasn't been stayed in for a while as the bath tub was a bit dusty. The beds are super comfortable they gave 4 pillows two super soft and two firm gave a nice choice. Hot tub is open until 10 pm so we could enjoy it later at night. Overall our stay was enjoyable!! Even got to see Hope on our way out!! Give that girl a raise she deserves it. !!

I was looking for a hotel last minute for driving my son up to Sacramento for the day. I was…read morefortunate enough to have stumbled on this gem! Typically I book in metro areas when going to bigger cities, however, I'm glad I didn't and booked here! The hotel was well maintained, everything was clean and tidy and the staff was kind. We got in extremely late, and they have someone at the front desk 24/7 to assist with checking any time. Our big "wow" for this hotel was their breakfast. There were surprisingly a lot of options! They had make your own waffles with strawberry preserves and two other sauces, various cereals, bagels, bacon, omelettes and more! One thing that I did notice was the high spots in the room could use a bit of love, there was some residual tape from what was likely a celebration banner still on the wall - but it was not dirty just needed to be taken down. All in all, we will be back when we are in the area!

The front desk girl in the middle of the night was nice and apologetic and gave me a new room. Second room had a dirty bathroom. Sink did not drain AT ALL and then I see it's full of hair and gunk. Floor and shower were dirty with a ton of hair all over. This hotel used to be nice and clean. It's nasty now, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Carpet in halls and lobby also smells really bad.

I will not be staying at this hotel again, nor will I recommend it to others. The photos online…read morewere misleading, as the room was noticeably smaller than expected. The smart TV would not properly mirror content from my phone, and the A/C unit released an unpleasant odor when switched to heating mode. Upon checking the bathroom, I found a used towel that had been folded and rehung as if clean. When I informed the front desk, they offered a replacement, but by then I had already set it aside and used a clean one after showering. I also requested that the room be serviced the following day while I was away at a meeting. However, upon returning, I found that the bed had not been made, the "do not disturb" sign was missing, and two of the towels provided weren't fresh, one still had strands of hair, and another had a red smudge. The continental breakfast was also disappointing compared to the description online. Options were limited to frozen waffles that needed to be pressed for heating, basic bread and bagels, oatmeal, small boxes of cereal, and standard coffee and juice. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations, both in cleanliness and hospitality. Above all else, when I brought up how I was left with stains on towels, twice to the front desk, I wasn't offered some kind of compensation. It is safe to say I will not be staying there again.

Given they allow dogs, you may hear dogs barking in rooms and cars. Given it's by 99, you can hear lots of highway traffic; it's also by a railroad so you hear trains on the track and honking horns. Bottom line: great place if you're not a light sleeper and don't need a lot of room.

I stayed here for a soccer tournament and it was pricey and definitely not worth it. Potentially…read morethey jacked up the prices for said soccer tournament? But with that, Elk Grove is a good-hotel desert. Seemingly, the competitor hotels are old and outdated, and this one is rather new and updated. Right off the highway, it's located pretty central to everything. The complimentary breakfast was regular. They did have DIY waffles. There is a small, not heated outdoor pool. The rooms were fine, the beds comfy. There was a small, but decent gym. The front staff were nice. Overall, a fine hotel and rating depending on price. $200ish - great. $300ish for Elk grove - overpriced. Do what you will!

I have stayed at TownePlace Suites Sacramento Elk Grove for a couple times now and at first I…read morereally liked the space. The ambiance in the front lobby is very chill, clean, and the staff are nice. The hotel rooms look like studio apartments with the fridge, kitchen, dishwasher, provided utensils, desk, etc. I do feel like some of the hotel rooms that I've stayed in here could have been much cleaner. Also, the trash cans in the bathroom and in the room do not have bags in them, which makes some people throw trash that will touch the trash cans. The last time that I stayed here, the kitchen sponge to wash the dishes were previously used, and the paper towel roll in the kitchen was all dirty. For breakfast in the mornings, they are alright. The eggs and sausage were a bit cold, I definitely feel like they can put the breakfast in food trays that can keep them warm. I do recommend coming here and trying the place out and see if you like it. My first few visits here were good, but my recent visit here was alright. There are some hotel rooms here that look more modern and more clean, like having a spacious shower with glass doors. On my most recent visit here, I had a bathtub shower with shower curtains; so it depends on which hotel room you book!

Check in went well, they had my reservation all booked and my choice of room. I get an upgrade cause I'm one of the Platinum members and they gave me my 500 points no problem. The room looked fine and the WiFi worked, that's one of the main things so I can get my work done. The rest of the room was clean and the AC worked fine. I checked the bathroom and every thing was fine, the hot water worked fine and there weren't any stray hairs about. Breakfast was the standard IHG Holiday Inn stuff. Hot breakfast of eggs or omelet thingies, sausages and bacon and cereal if you want just that. There's breads and muffins to toast as well as jelly and butter. My stay so far has been fine, no problems and a decent quiet room.

I walked into their lobby and was amazed how beautiful and high tech the interior design looked. I loved it! I booked my stay and was on the 2nd floor of the 3 story hotel. My room overlooked the pool. They are in the middle of renovations and soon this hotel will be even better...hard to believe. I went to breakfast which was free and was again amazed at what had changed in the world. The first was a pancake machine where you just push a button and you can watch 2 pancakes get poured, moved on a conveyer belt as they cook and then drop onto your plate. Be sure to have your plate ready..haha. The breakfast bar was clean and well stocked with eggs, sausage, oatmeal and so much more. The coffee station was fantastic. It is open 24 hours and you choose your coffee beans, had decaf, if you know me, lol, then the coffee machine brewed and then poured my coffee. A truly fantastic coffee station. My room was so beautiful and clean with so many nice touches. I love the dove hand wash and body lotion. Love it here tub and shower shampoo, conditioner and body wash. So many towels and a fridge and microwave. The bed was soft with 4 pillows. A nice size tv and the room was just lovely. Souzan checked me in with kindness and professional style and I decided to become a Holiday sink Express member right then. Even though I am only here one night, I will definitely cone back here to Elk Grove Holiday Inn Express again. It is also next to Mimi's Cafe and Old Navy. What a great location. Thank you all, see you again. Julie A
