I first spoke with Deon he was very helpful, the business website should have been a red flag, I requested 3 hrs. Deon was 15 minutes late, he showed up with a toddler, 4-5 kids was initially set up in the truck my 15 yr old nephew wanted to play call of duty and Deon is so chicken shit he wouldn't add a screen, none of the other guess wanted to hang out in the truck because this grown man is trying to over do the kids. Royal Elite Rolling Video Games - Gaming Truck SEVEN STARS!! If that were at all possible, I'd rate Royal Elite Rolling Video Games as such! First, let me get the specifics of the gaming truck and it's amenities out of the way because though it was all great, that was not what increased the rating from 5-Stars to 7-Stars and certainly not only what will create the length and depth of this review. My son turned 16-years-old and he'd asked for a gaming truck for his birthday party so he and his friends and a few family members could come share in his special day and hobby. Deon, the truck owner showed up on time as "scheduled". (I'll explain the quotes around the word schedule later) In fact he showed up a bit earlier than scheduled which was even better and unexpected. He also happily accepted to stay an hour longer than we'd initially requested because the kids were having so much fun. (He was there from 6pm to 10pm). His truck was spacious, clean, flashy multi-colored lighting both inside and outside, air-conditioned (but not too cold), huge TV monitors both inside the truck and 2 outside and had a huge array of game selection for the kids, which our guest certainly enjoyed. Deon, was a great host to the kids, helped them when they needed any assistance and even patiently sat with one of the adults who'd wanted to learn how to play the games, and showed her how it worked, what to do and set the game on 'easy' mode for her to play on her own. She loved it and stayed in the truck the WHOLE time! That was so awesome seeing the kid come out in her. Deon is a people person, he comfortably socialized with both kids and adults. He was in and out of the truck looking in on the players and socializing with others as though he wanted to make sure everyone had his full attention. How awesome is that?! Now, let me express why Royal Elite Rolling Video Games (Deon) earned those 2 extra stars! I had initially booked another gaming truck (which was local to where I live) 3-weeks before and reconfirmed that booking a week prior to my scheduled event for Saturday October 15th 2022. The night before the event, that (useless) company 'texted' me that they had to cancel because the gaming operator was "sick". I couldn't believe the text when I'd read it the next morning at 4:22am. I texted, called, left voicemails begging and pleading with them not to do this to me. I expressed how important this day was to me and my son and how impossible it would be for me to find another truck on the same day, and on a Saturday at that. Again, the useless company, never picked up the phone to return my call to express any regress or show compassion to the pain they'd caused, but rather, texted me again reconfirming the cancellation and that there was nothing they could do. [As a potential gaming truck customer reading this review, I urge you to click on my reviews in my profile so you may know that name of that useless company, so as to avoid the same fate they tried to instill on me]. Which leads me to why I'd put quotation marks around the word 'schedule' when I was referencing Royal Elite Rolling Video Games arrival time. After calling several companies around town and then venturing out of town options, my husband got Deon and the phone, shared what had happened with us and the useless company and Deon immediately became empathetic to our hurt/pain. He wasn't schedule to work on this day as he'd shared he was actually spending the day with his daughter for her birthday. He however immediately accepted our request and promised to be there for us by 6:15pm (he showed up at 6pm). The likelihood of being able to not only book a video gaming truck on the same day, a Saturday and one that was actually as sophisticated, clean, professional, kid and family friendly, kind-hearted host and exciting as Royal Elite Rolling Video Games truck was - is well, nothing short of a miracle. Thanks to Deon, my son never knew that was ever an issue with the other gaming truck, guests were all impressed with the truck and how classy it made my son's BD party and I (a mother to an almost hear-broken BD boy) was beyond words and in tears. My husband and I thanked Deon immensely and compensated him well! He deserves that and every platform I've posted a review for his company. I 100% recommend Royal Elite Rolling Video Games as FIRST choice to anyone searching for a truck. Stop here and book him! You will not regret it. I would wholeheartedly recommend Royal Elite Rolling Video Games! For my son's 10th birthday party we decided on a gaming theme and what better way to be on theme than to get a mobile video gaming center to come to our home?? Deon, the owner is very responsive and always got back to us promptly and answered all and any questions we had. He is very knowledgeable and respectful. It was very easy to find out his availability, get a price quote and book with him. What I really liked is that they have a pretty big area that they service and we were able to get him to come out to our place here in the East Bay. The communication was great, he reached out to confirm the time, date and location with us a few days before the event and on the day of he called to let us know when he was near by. He was here promptly and set up really fast. My son and his friends were so excited to see this big trailer pull up and then even more excited to get inside and play the many many games on hand! Deon was amazing with the kiddos and made everyone was having a great time. The trailer is spacious clean and had huge TVs inside! Not to mention the 2 TVs outside. I can tell you that we had the kids and adults all playing and having a great time. February is a hard month to plan parties because the weather can be so unpredictable. During our party we had a downpour and it did not matter because we were all inside warm and dry. Did I mention that this trailer can fit up to 28 people? Overall we had a wonderful experience with Royal Elite Rolling Video Games and would definitely work with them again and I would tell anyone I know that if they are thinking of having a gaming party, this is the company to do it with. Five star is not enough! They have excellent customer service, very punctual, very clean truck, and they came all the way to Union City for us! I called the day before the event to see if I was lucky enough to get this truck rented. They informed me they had a party booked already but he told me not to worry he would make it happen for us. THEY DID! We had a baptism at hall for my baby and didn't want the older kids to be bored. Everyone was impressed including the hall staff and security. They were ready to go in 5 min from arrival. Very helpful and welcoming. They asked me if I had any restrictions which I thought was very thoughtful( I hadn't thought about that). It was late(7-9) but that didn't stop them from having a smile on their face the whole time. They encouraged all the kids to participate and made sure none were left out.
