The food is great and I appreciate the prices even compared to the Walmart across the street. The Caesar salad is $2.98 at ALDIs and across the street at Walmart the same salad is $3.98. With the drastic increases in food prices it pays to compare pricing and see what your best options are. The customer service is very good.

Only downside is it's not many registers open and there are no self check registers for quick runs.

Bottom Line: A brand new 7-Eleven, complete with gas pumps, just a 1/4 mile north of its former location. The 7-11 in Arnold's College Village shopping center faithfully served travelers on northbound Ritchie Highway for decades! As of the end of March, this 7-Eleven has a new and improved home, about 1/4 mile north on Ritchie Highway at Jones Station Road. The new location consists of a brand new store and eight gas pumps. The store was built from the ground up and is probably twice the size as the old location. Everything inside is bright and sparkling. They have the basics like a soda fountain, coffee and ATM machine. I also noticed that this new location has a lot more cases for hot food and a refrigerator with bait. Of course you can count on 7-Eleven for lotto tickets, Slurpees, snacks and bottled beverages too. Unlike the old location, this location has gas pumps - eight of them! They have three grades of gas and pumps #1 and #2 have diesel. This new location is substantially busier than the old location, probably thanks to the excitement of something new in SP, the addition of gas pumps and a better location. It seems like they've definitely added staff to scale with the increased number of customers. Since this location is at an intersection with a stop light, it is more accessible to those traveling on southbound Ritchie Highway than the old location.

The experience was disappointing from start to finish. First, their website repeatedly glitched and wouldn't let me complete checkout. I kept being told to "finish setting up my account" while also being told I already had one. After an hour on the phone with customer service, the order had to be placed as a guest because the system wasn't working properly. On Christmas Day, I followed the cooking instructions exactly for medium rare. I'm an experienced cook, my oven works fine, and the casseroles from HoneyBaked cooked perfectly. But the Prime Rib came out severely overcooked and dry. It was embarrassing and barely eaten -- especially frustrating for a $200 piece of meat. Corporate customer service was apologetic and said a refund was appropriate, but because it was a local pickup, the store had to handle it. When the store manager called me, the response was dismissive. I was told, "No one else had any problems" and that "everyone raved about how good it was," implying it was my fault. The only offer made was 20% off a future Easter ham -- meaning I'd have to spend more money to be "compensated" for a failed holiday meal. No follow-up ever happened after that. Between the website issues, the overcooked Prime Rib, and the poor handling of the complaint, this was not the premium experience I expected from HoneyBaked.
