Idk what on earth is going on with this location but the flood is absolutely disgusting compared to every other RF I've been to. Ordered delivery in the evening for a few people. I ordered a cheeseburger that ended up coming with none of the fixings on it. A hash brown was ordered and we originally couldn't find it in the bag, it was put in my cheeseburger? Weird. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant and the gravy lacked flavor. Others ordered a 2 piece dark and 2 piece white. This does come with a dinner roll and potato wedges. I tried a piece of the white, but it was so greasy and seemed to have so many pieces of small bones but I couldn't figure out where it was from - maybe in the batter? Who knows. SERVED SPOILED CHICKEN 9/25/2023 Used to Royal farms so I thought the complaints were just from chesco people not used to this chain. Got a 4 piece combo as did my friend. All was well until I bit into the chicken breast. A taste I can only describe as hot rotten fish and slimy awfulness. Absolute health code violation and horrible they can make someone really sick. My friends breast was also extremely spoiled they make the whole kitchen smell like rotten fish while they're in the trash can this is actually crazy and illegal. Easily a great place to get fried chicken fresh. It's not the cheapest and there's usually a wait, however it's probably due to popularity. This is the first one in our area and it's often crowded. They have had a policy the last two times I was there that you can have a free fountain drink or coffee if you have to wait for chicken. I'd recommend the chicken to anyone, only think close to it is Popeye's and that's also busy sad crowded, not the same level of fresh either. I'd have to say stick to wawa for coffee as this is kinda like average convince store coffee, and otherwise the royal Farms ROFO Card and app work fine. I guess some people reviewing it on here may have gotten an older version or not understood how to set it up. Get a card from the store for free at checkout. Enter it I to the app and every time you get gas or shop in store - or even play a free 'Memory'style cardmatch game on the app you earn points that gets you free food. If you want the 25¢ for a month and then 10¢ for a month discount per gallon on gas, you have to tether it to the payment part of the app and kink to a card or account. Tried their chicken at grand opening. It was way too salty. Tried again a few months later, hoping that they have figured it out. It was again way too salty. On top of that, it was soggy. To be fair, deep fried chicken is not a healthy food option, but they don't need to go out of their way to make their chicken extra unhealthy but soaking their chicken in grease and salt. Ordered mashed potatoes. The server tried to give us our order without the mashed potatoes. Not surprising, considering many other reviewers have noted the same problem. The mashed potatoes came without gravy. Can't think of a reasonable explanation for that other than simply poor (or non-existent) customer service. Stay away from Royal Farms food! Started going in here every morning I had the same person at check out every morning for about a month and then some older gentleman assumed to be the manager on duty started doing check out, be careful of him because likes to chuck your stuff in the bag even when it's a soft drink and he knows it's going to spill all over the place when you open it. I was in Downingtown Royal Farms to have dinner. In theory I ordered a nice chicken salad sandwich with bacon, cheese, lett, pickles, onion. A side of cheese fries. What I received was a much different product. Fries with no cheese that were cold and smashed. The sandwich had chicken salad and lettuce on it and the rest was missing. I paid full price for the product, all I received was half of it. Are the buttons on the kiosk for suggestion only? Or does the Royal Farms staff not care about the quality of the product they put out. Either way my visit and this transaction was a failure on the part of Royal Farms. Make sure to skip this place on your next trip to get food or gas because it's a all around failure. Wawa is the place to go for excellent service and quality products. read more

Went in to try it out as it just opened last week. First thing I noticed- Floors were EXTREMELY greasy. I ordered the 3 piece chicken strips basket with ranch. Price was a little high, but oh well. Got the chicken, got back to work and found that they forgot to put the ranch in. The ONE positive thing I can say is that the strips were good sized, but were half dried out and semi chewy. They weren't bad, but definitely not as good as they were hyped up to be. The potato wedges were pretty dry as well. I "might" go back, as it's close to work, but would probably recommend trying elsewhere first. Like the first reviewer said, maybe they just need time to work the kinks out, but at least clean up the floors.. read more

My order was not correct, not sure if I got someone else's or what. Went in at a busy time. Ordered 4 piece chicken meal at kiosk without issue. Stood in line to pay. Then waited 15 minutes before overhearing someone say they were out of dark meat chicken and it would be another 30 minutes before it would be ready. Asked someone behind counter and they confirmed that additional wait time. That is ridiculous for a supposed "fast-food fried chicken" place. Asked if they had anything that was not deep-fried. Was told by the sales person she was not sure. Was instructed to go online and look at their menu. I wanted to eat something now. I did not want to have to stop and go online to look at their menu. I did check on their menu. Poor description of how they fix their food. I can tell you that their chicken is fat loaded. 34gr of fat, average. In this day and age you would think they would have something a little bit more healthy like baked chicken as an option. They need to educate their employees, too! Also, they need to have, in their store, nutritional value of their food. All the other fast food have it. Signed up for royal farms rewards card..apparently doesn't work unless assigned to bank account yet advertise 30 days at 25centc a gallon for thirty days..so then signed up for access to my checking account for 25cents off..then to be told fax info to company..up to 48 hrs..ok umm smell scam..so nope turkey hill still answer,, then ordered 8peice chicken for kids..no breasts..umm again inimpressed..then tried to order sandwich, no tape to wrap sandwich, came in for morning coffee..no coffee made, and tonite ordered breakfast sandwich..specifically made sure cheese on sandwich, came home no cheese..guess turkey hill with 3cents off daily then 10cents off when reach 100 points a constant, also my points count I have had numerous free drinks for using my card..wanf to succeed in PA..handle your business ..esp near the hs..and be a store of convenience..not one that makes people jump through hoops to experience the thrill of using.u..remember u need us more than we need u..(THE PUBLIC) read more

Their Chicken is very delicious. Nicer than the royal farms down in Virginia. It's not a wawa, but sure beats Sunoco or Turkey Hill.

I don't know if people just have bad taste or don't know what chicken should taste like, but the chicken is dry with no flavor. I ordered the chicken sandwich and instead of putting a boneless piece of chicken on, they have to go over to the other side of the counter, de-bone a piece of meat and put it on the sandwich. Ended up still getting bone in my sandwich. The food and wait time is not worth it. The only way they'll stay in business is from the high school students who go there in the morning because it's convenient. The hype of this place will die down soon. read more
