We check in about 20 times a year on our way home from Ocean City Maryland. The place is always dirty and trashy. When you stop to get gas there's never any water to clean your windows off. The ladies room always looks like it hasn't been cleaned in two weeks, and there's generally never any more than two people working in this place. It's really sad, but I'm not reporting anything. I'm a partially disabled veteran. I can't drive because of some of those issues so I don't have a Drivers License, but I do have my military ID they gave me when I got out. I've contacted corporate offices 2 times about this problem. When I go in to buy cigarette, one particular cashier refuses to take my ID because it won't scan! since when does that matter? The law doesn't care if your system scans it, they care that you verify a persons age before selling tobacco products. The time before this the manager happened by and told her it was ok. I foolishly thought that would fix the issue. I went in, gave her my ID & she told me she wouldn't take it since it didn't scan. I told her that this is the 4 th time this has happened that corporate told me I wouldn't have any more problems & her manager even told her it was ok last time I was in. She refused. I told her this was stupid & her reply was "That's it, I'm not serving you!" I told her that was even more stupid because she already wasn't serving me! I also told her I was contacting corporate about her and she acted like she didn't care. Go ahead, she says. I left with some choice words and have sent a messsge to corporate. I hope they fix this issue because I'd rather not have to go somewhere else, but will if it saves me the stress of dealing with this foolishness. read more

Gas experience is fine. Filthy bathrooms, pleasant enough staff, smells like fried chicken. Refer to the filthy bathrooms as the reason I wouldn't buy any food cooked here. Yes, I know, you cook in the kitchen and not the bathroom, but seriously...urine on the floor in the women's restroom is a bad sign. So is a toilet brush propped up against the wall. read more

It's a conventional location. You can get in and out easily at the signal headed in all directions. It's clean and the restrooms are decent. They have a lot of pumps and sell diesel. read more

The women's room here is disgustingly dirty. I was really shocked because it has been a long time since I have seen a public restroom that had clearly not even been cleaned in ages. The floor here has not been washed in weeks or possibly months. The toilet paper holder had come off the wall and was on the floor. Another Huge Dispenser Size roll was lying on top of where the sanitary napkins go. Nice. I tried to avert my eyes and nose from all of the sights and smells here. I washed my hands for a long time and then fled. I bookmarked this place deep into my soul with a small tag that reads, "Don't go here ever again." read more

At any given time at least 30% of the card readers are not working on rhe gas pumps, often with no notice. You don't realize until you are out of the car and standing their with your gas cap off. That leaves no choice buy to go inside and deal with the lazy, uncaring, greasy-haired "cashier" in the store who angrily stomps and huffs when you ask him how exactly to do his job and ring yourself up for a gas pump located outside. read more

All pumps are closed for remodeling but no warning from the highway. All lights are on because they want you to come in and go to the store. Total screw job. Not only did I waste my time getting off but then there's no way out, so I had circle back around. Went back and 2-ounce beef jerky is $7.99.....stay out of that store. read more

Literally so randomly nice that my road trip buddies begged me to yelp it. They have a milkshake machine. A touchscreen milkshake machine. They make sandwiches, burgers and have fried chicken, fresh, not frozen. They have a huge selection of convenient store items/products and a clean bathroom. And a gas station attached. I got a cheeseburger from them and it was delicious. No regrets. read more

This place is rocking! We stopped in here on a beach Sunday, it was smoking, crazy busy, BUT, no line at the cashier (multiple folks ringing). Yeah, there was a line for the men's room, but what did you expect? It moved rapidly (thankfully there were no turd burglars). Parking right in front is skectchy, but if you park on the side there are plenty of spaces and a large gravel lot if you're towing a trailer. read more

I have been stopping here to and from Ocean City for years. Today the woman's bathroom was beyond disgusting. In the 3 minutes i spent in the bathroom i saw Diapers falling out of trash cans, sand on the floor in stalls, no soap or paper towels available and an overall lack of cleanliness. I rarely leave reviews, but because this is an uncommon occurrence I think the owners and managers should be made aware. read more

Went to the newly remodeled royal farms for breakfast today. I ordered a chicken egg and cheese and my boyfriend got a sausage egg and cheese and a hash brown. Never got the hash brown. My chicken, egg and cheese was just a piece of fried chicken on a biscuit. No cheese, no egg. My boyfriend's sandwich came with a sauce smeared all over it that we didn't order. If it's this bad as soon as it reopened, i'd hate to see what it'll be like in a few months. read more
