I ordered a $6 chicken salad sub and I got a shorty sub for $6. When I go into Delaware at their wild wise sub is a full sub not a half a sub. Not one of the better Wawa's. Hot foods window is frequently not filled and management seems to hide when they get busy. I've seen employees leave crying on more than one occasion. Will get the job done if you need a Wawa fix. read more

So, it's been a while since I've gotten a milkshake at Wawa. I went in looking for the " F'real machine" to blend my own CHOCOLATE milkshake, only to find out I have to order through the kiosk. Huh? What? initially so mad for extra time of ordering and not being able to use the self-serve machine. The limited-edition menu of holiday drink flavors eggnog, gingerbread, and peppermint mocha caught my attention. If you're a fan of peppermint mocha drinks from Starbucks or chick- fil -a, you need to try Wawa's, it's better. It delivers all the pepperminty chocolatey deliciousness. Just be careful there are real chocolate morsels in the shake and when you suck through the straw the morsels clog the straw. Maybe that's why in retrospect... I was asked did I want to PURCHASE a straw when ordering on the kiosk. Which I thought was really weird at the time. SMH The shake was the even better than the self-serve machine. I don't eat the food at Wawa's Deli. I may look twice at the donut rack but I pass that by also. They are good for coffee and cold water. It's fairly roomy and has more than one bathroom stall. Roomy at the gas pumps. One entrance, right off 50 East so don't turn at the corner expecting to get in that way. Just take a right, directly off 50 E. Long line at check out. read more

I like all Wawas. You can order a sandwich or bagel before visiting the restroom. by the time you have washed your hands, your order is ready. Hubby keeps a reusable Wawa coffee cup in the car. Refills are .99. There are healthy salads and fruits. read more

terrible terrible terrible. i go to this wawa quite often, i LOVE wawa but today's lunch has not gone so well. i ordered a bacon mac n cheese bowl. i have been craving it ALL WEEK. when i open it at work it looks slim compared to when my sister orders it, it is always full. i go back and am told FILLING the bowl is over portioning it (?). i then reach the bottom and find something... green in my bowl... i'm not sure if it's lettuce from cross contamination or... you know. i could not finish my bowl and am left hungry since i no longer have time to find something else in my lunch break. get the salad or coffee here. in the mean time i hope they get smaller bowls instead of teasing customers. read more

Been here several times during trips back to VA. Seems to be always clean in the parking lot and I noticed that it has a good operational air pump (not always the case at the Wawa). It is fairly convenient being at an intersection right off of Rt 50. Wawas typically have the cheapest gas that I can tell for that area. I don't usually get sandwiches or coffee from Wawa, so I cant speak to the deli. I do personally like some of the snack choices they have. I would recommend reading other reviews if you are looking for the quality of the food. read more

My regular early morning coffee stop (Wawa has the best coffee!) The staff is usually friendly and helpful. The coffee is kept fresh, and I rarely have to hunt around to find the full pot. The sandwich stations are also efficient, and they usually get my order right. I like Wawa a lot but they ruined the inside of this store with the re-design. The flow is all wrong. I like to go to Wawa for the subs- they are great. The gas prices are decent. I hate how busy the pumps always are but there's not a lot of options on Ocean Gateway. Service is decent although the need a few more people making sandwiches and they need to stop skimping on the cranberry on the gobblers. A staple in my weekend commutes to Ocean City. This Wawa is relatively large and clean. The gas is usually some of the cheapest I see on my drive from Baltimore to Ocean City, although when the pumps and parking lot get crowded in tourist season, it's a huge pain to deal with. My favorite things about this Wawa are pretty simple: they have the soda fountain with the flavored syrups (vanilla Coke!) which not all locations have! They also usually have cheese-filled pretzels, and will make a new batch if they are out and you ask nicely! read more

This was by far the craziest, and worst experience I ever had at a convenience store. The two women behind the counter making food were 40-50 year old African American women. They loudly cursed, talking disparagingly about the manager and other employees. I was waiting for my food that was ordered and they continued to say stuff like "that bit@h wants bacon made she can make her own fuc$ing bacon". At one point the one female with short hair began talking about job interviews and how she can't wait to tell the manager off. This went on for 20 minutes while they were busy. They moved insanely slow and continued to stop and talk. A younger male was also talking with them about job interviews. Just wild. I can't even write how much they cursed and how loud it was. Grossest Wawa I've ever visited in my entire life. There were flies everywhere behind the deli counter. All three bathroom stalls were completely nasty. To top it off, one off duty employee was behind the counter scratching off lottery tickets talking at the top of her lungs about a different Wawa and it's "ass&$!$" customers and "nasty ass" employees. Okay, so it's about 11:00 pm and wawas was kinda poppin, already I could tell that Rahqueefa (the food market associate) was in a foul mood. My bud ordered a quesadilla and a Mac and cheese chicken tender bowl and I ordered a singular buffalo chicken quesadilla with extra cheese. After we payed for our orders several more customers begin ordering food, it's at this point that Rahqueefa decided she wanted to start muttering "fuck this I'm not dealing with this" and "where the hell is cracker ass Chris at?" She then goes and hunts Chris down who was obviously on break. After returning with Chris she finishes our orders, unfortunately the mac and cheese bowl was room temperature and not only was the cheese on my quesadilla not melted but there was no buffalo sauce. The staff are friendly. The room is pretty spacious with a good selection of snacks. Pretty good prices on combos and chips. I'm a fan of the scratch off machine--use it weekly. Gas is pretty inexpensive compared to other places. They do run out of receipt paper on the gas pumps at times, which can be a pain if you track that sort of thing. Probably THE WORST Wawa store I have ever visited. They constantly run out of things... Ever heard of inventory management? They need to clean the coffee pots in the afternoon. Coffee is ok in the morning but is awful in the afternoon/evening. The checkout lines are always LONG. That's because employees are more interested in chatting with one another in the office, rather than paying attention to customers. The breakfast sandwiches are always over cooked. A bagel should be golden colored, not dark brown like a pretzel. Pay close attention to the time stickers on the sandwiches. You'll often find they have been sitting there LONG after they have expired. If the staff would take more interest in doing what they are supposed to be doing, rather than goofing off and chit chatting with everyone, this could be a great Wawa. read more
