If I could give a star below one star for this location I would. I love other Royal Farm locations but this one is just plain nasty. I stopped at this store on my way home to NY to enjoy the chicken you're so famous for and it was extremely disgusting. This store is a disgrace to the Royal Farms name. The chicken tasted refried and dried out super hard. I have video to show what we had to experience. I definitely want all my money back for that complete waste of a trip that delayed my travel time just to end up disappointed. Also I don't want to forget to mention that as we were leaving, we saw and elderly employee drop the pepper packets on the floor and just scooped them up with the dirty trash crumbs on the floor and put it back into the container for the customers to pick up and use. So disgusted that this store obviously do not take its cleanliness and food quality seriously. read more

I have never had an exceptionally good experience at this particular Royal Farms but this evening was by far the worst. The first thing I noticed when I stepped inside was how extremely loud the music from the speakers was. It went totally downhill from there. I placed my order for the 8 piece mixed chicken and a large mashed potatoes and gravy. The cashier was rude and unfriendly. With my chicken order and the cold sides I purchased I sent over $30. When I walked back with my order ticket the little girl behind the food court yelled are #241? I said yes...she said I called your number trying to catch you before you paid, we don't have any chicken ready and it will be another 10 minutes. I said ok I'll wait. And I waited 45 minutes while she handed bags of chicken to everyone but me. I finally asked her about my order...And she snottily told me she'd called my number several times. I asked a couple of people standing around if they had heard my number and they all said they couldn't hear anything over the music. She slammed my chicken in a bag and informed they were out of breasts and I'd have to take thighs. Mind you I was first in line waiting for this chicken to come out of the fryer...Oh, and my mashed potatoes and gravy turned into mac and cheese. This one is the closest one to my house, but I will drive the extra 8 miles to the next one if and when I ever decide to patron your establishments again. read more

We had dinner reservations and reservations to see Christmas at Longwood it stopped at the Royal Farms in North East to our air in a tire. We noticed the guy in front of us was having problems with the air dispenser and eventually just left. I wish we had done the same. We not only coils t get any air into the tire, the machine drained out what air was inside. We had to actually put the spare tire on right there in front of the air dispenser. While we were changing the tire another person drove up behind us and said the same thing had happened to her a few weeks earlier. DO NOT USE THE AIR DISPENSER at this location. read more

I'm not generally a fan of Royal Farms as a gas station because unlike Wawa, they charge for air. However, the late-night staff at this particular location seem a bit thorny so next time I pass through this area, I think I should just skip this one and continue onwards to a gas station in Elkton or Glasgow, perhaps. read more

Let me start off saying that the food is good here, the place is clean, and well maintained. This 3 star review is different from others I've written because it has to do with the employees and not about the store or it's items. I work nights and every so often I will swing into this rofo to grab gas, a coffee, or a bite to eat on my way home in the early hours of the morning. If you happen to stop in at the buttcrack of dawn you will witness an interesting group of individuals that work here. There is one in particular that always intrigues me though. The sandwich man. Sandwich man acts like he would rather do 25 to life in folsom then make a sandwich. His blank, dead stare greets you while you are deciding which tasty treat you are going to stuff into your mouth hole. Once you hit that complete my order button and that loud, obnoxious buzzer goes off, you think sanman would spring Into action to build your yummy vittles..but no..he stands there, listening to the loud buzzer with the face of a man who seems to die inside a little more with each completion of a chicken slider. Sanman why are you so mad, what has the world done to you I wonder. Why do you angrily piece together my meal and tape it up so much that I can't get the tape off in the parking lot? Should I bring a machete next time to hack my way into my chicken salad wrap with black olives..is that what your emotionless expression is telling me!?!?! Why did you slam my atomic chicken toasted sandwich with enough force on the counter with your hamhock sized hand to render it consumable only with a straw. I'm not mad at you for this sanman. I will give you more chances to get things right. So, if you see sanman (you'll know it's him) smile at him, and say thank you whike he powerbombs your order onto the counter and storms off. read more
