It was the owner, Kirk Dishman, playing mandolin, with the four other members of the Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Band. It was a Friday night practice session, so when I arrived I increased he audience from 2 to 3. What a treat these guys were not only wonderful musicians, but friendly and welcoming. Once I was in Richmond I rented a truck to help my daughter move back to DC. I made sure to stop at Dishmans to fill up the Uhaul and Kirk was as nice as can be. They have concerts next to the store every couple of weeks. So if you are going to be driving on I 95 on a Friday evening, I suggest you call the store and see if they are playing.
