I've used them twice and I can't say enough nice things about them. Like a previous reviewer I did call cause I love the clever name...and because I live in Fairview and want to support local companies. Not a fan of the "big name" no heart companies out there. The first time was to snake a bathroom drain. Not very exciting but they did a great job and cleaned up after. You would never have know they were there. 2nd call was because after receiving a very high water bill it was discovered I had a running toilet. I called just after my basement flooded with over 12" of water and the woman who I spoke with (Donna) could not have been more wonderful. Not only could they install a new toilet (to replace my ancient one) they brought one to me to save me the hassle of figuring out how I was going to get it to my house in my small car. To add to my amazing experience I found out the day before they were to come out, the city was doing work on the water lines and was going to shut off the water. This place helped my cousin out on the day we buried her father. One of the family visiting from out of town for the funeral clogged the toilet and with the entire fMaily coming to her house I've, she was in a panic and this place sent a guy over in five minutes, cleared the clog, and didn't charge the emergency fee. Plumber from Royal Flush comes to my mom's house to tighten handles on a faucet in a basement laundry room. There was no significant leak, maybe a drip every several minutes. But the handles are loose. I come over a day or two later and water is dripping at a very fast rate... could fill a bucket in maybe a half hour. Handles don't shut tighter than they are. A large puddle had collected on the floor where a hose meets the drain. My mom says she never checked their work, hasn't been in the basement, and was completely unaware of this. I call them up and tell the the problem, get a call-back from a technician (not the guy who actually did the work). I tell him the problem, I ask why didn't the plumber show my mom the work before he left. I say there's a big puddle on the floor, why didn't the plumber check everything and give my mom a recommendation. No answer. He says he doesn't know the extent of the problem, he's not there. He says to shut off the main water line because they can't come out until sometime the next day. I said, I'm using the water. The kicker is this guy keeps talking over me, and tells me, "I deal with homeowners like you all the time" meaning angry homeowners that aren't satisfied with the work they do or the answers they provide. I say, I'll send you a video to show you what's going on. I had taken a video of the dripping faucet and the water all over the floor. He says "you're full of baloney." Apparently this is how they address poor workmanship and unsatisfied customers. According to the technician, he deals with unsatisfied guys like me all the time -- an admission of incompetence from an employee of this company. Here's another issue. My mom wants the plumber during the same visit to fix low water pressure on a first-floor bathroom faucet. The handle on the faucet is shot, it's corroded and the hot/cold label has turned to dust. There's a brand new Delta faucet handle sitting there that fits that Delta faucet. The plumber doesn't say, hey, we should replace this handle. The thing is literally sitting there. I've included a picture of the old one. He actually worked on the faucet with this handle on it and left it! The photo I'm including is the condition of the faucet handle AFTER the plumber worked on the faucet. Yes! We had a perennial plumbing/drainage issue that Royal Flush looked into fully and diagnosed. It turned out to be kind of a major problem - aged out, cracked/collapsed clay pipe below the basement floor - and Royal Flush fixed it completely and professionally in as neat, clean and timely a manner as possible. The fix took about a half day. And in the end, we were very happy with the repair, their work process, and the relative good value for what had to be done. (we had a quote from another company that was so much higher!) Major repairs are never pleasant or inexpensive - but Royal Flush made it all as tolerable as possible. Once again, if I could give more stars I would!!! We just moved to Elyria from North Olmsted. When we were all moved in we thought "Good, everything here works because the house and everything in it have been inspected and is in working order". Ha, Ha!! Not by a long shot! We had a toilet in the bathroom that would fill every 2 to 3 hours because the either the gasket or the flapper valve was causing the leaking problem. You could see the water coming into the bowl! We called Royal Flush and asked them to bring a comfort height toilet and take out the old one. When Adam from Royal Flush arrived, he very professionally removed the old one and installed the new one in less than an hour. This is the third time we are using them. I would not recommend Royal Flush Plumbing to anyone. They overcharged for the installation of a 2 handle kitchen faucet and unclog a garbage disposal. $450 to install a $70 Delta kitchen faucet and $180 to unclog a garbage disposal. In addition, the plumber did not even know that the dishwasher was a portable dishwasher and tried to charge for a new supply line and stop. Plumber removed the dishwasher adapter from old faucet and failed to reinstall it on the new faucet making the dishwasher unusable. Royal Flush Plumbing Management was called to discuss the charges and concerns. Management was rude and unwilling to address the concerns or charges. I will never us Royal Flush Plumbing again and encourage you to stay away and get a second opinion. read more

Called on Monday trying to get someone to come look at my clogged sink. I did the basic removal of the P trap and tried to clear on my own with my snake and chemicals, but there was something more serious going on. At first, Royal Flush actually referred me to someone else because they said they wouldn't be able to get me in until Wednesday afternoon, but I ended up making the appointment with Royal Flush in a pinch. They called 30 minutes before arriving, which gave me the time I needed to drive home. The plumber I got was Dan, who worked quickly and efficiently to clear the drain and assess how to keep it from occurring again. He had access to tools I couldn't even afford to auger the clog. He placed some PVC holders in the rafter of my basement to give my drain the proper slope and cleaned up after he was done. Will definitely recommend them to people who need a plumber. read more

Picked these guys to address a basement sewer drain issue based on the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. Chris called me back on a Sunday. I had a plumbing problem that was very scary. The floor drains in the basement would back up (raw sewage in my house) during heavy rain times starting in the end of May 2019 to mid July 2019. I called another company, they came out and snaked the sewer line and the problem was temporarily solved until heavy rain returned. They did identify 2 different sewer line problems. First is a belly in the sewer line and second a misalignment of connecting pieces close to the sidewalk 50 feet from the house. I called others and did research. 2 other companies concurred, I needed my basement dug up to correct the belly in the line and dig to correct the misalignment of the sewer line near the street. Then Mike from Royal Flush arrived. I had to wait weeks for an appointment but it was worth it. Mike assessed the most significant part of the problem is the misalignment of the pipes near the street. I could write a much more, but suffice it to say, a short time later Royal Flush arrived, fixed the problem in one day and for 1/2 to 1/4 of the other companies because Mike assessed tearing up my basement was not required to fix my issue. Royal flush is smarter, better, more professional. Price is only part of the issue. I got a lot more than price. read more

Chris came to my house (same day!) and was able to fix what a previous plumber tried to fix to no avail. (previous plumber basically said I had to have my basement floor and wall opened up to replace pipes).. very expensive proposition, not to mention time consuming. NOT SO! They arrived on time, fixed replaced a hard to get to shut off valve, installed a new valve to meet code, fixed two P traps, and added relief tubes to our two water heaters. Our basement was quite wet in one corner and our driveway storm sewer was totally blocked creating a small pond where my car was parked. I called Royal Flush (based on their good reviews and being a local company) to clean out our storm drains. Their answering service was friendly and someone got back to me right away. I was hoping that would solve both the driveway and basement problem, though I feared the wet basement would be a large expensive undertaking. They came out and flushed as many storm drains as possible. They could only get in a few feet on the driveway drain and the drain along the back of the house was totally blocked. They pointed out that the part of the storm sewer at ground level (where the downspout attaches) was damaged and misaligned, so the water in the downspout was just pouring into the ground and causing our wet basement. We needed to have the storm sewer dug out and replaced along the back of our house and have two new downspout ground attachments installed. The two technicians they sent assured me they could get the job done for a lot less than I was imagining. Someone (I believe the owner) called me back with a quote that was so reasonable, I felt like I won the lottery. A few days later they were at my house with a small backhoe and got the entire job done in one day. I am so happy I found Royal Flush and I will use them for all my plumbing needs. The outdoor spigot for the hose broke off and at first I had Roto Rooter come out and do an estimate. They told me the main shutoff needs to be replaced before they can do the work. So they quoted me $325 for the spigot, and another $475 to fix the main shutoff ($800 total). They also said I would have to contact the city and convince them to shut off the water at the street. This sounded like a pretty high estimate for the fairly simple thing I needed done, so I called Royal Flush for a second estimate. They quoted $175-225, and this included fixing the main shutoff. And this did not require having the city come out to turn off the water. Somehow they were able to put a shutoff valve on there. There ended up being some complication that made the job take longer, but they stuck by the original estimate and charged 225. So I have the spigot replaced (and rerouted to the back of the house instead of the side which is great) and a working main shutoff, for 225 instead of 800. It's a couple weeks later now, and everything is working great. I highly recommend these guys for good work and a fair price. read more

The kitchen drain backed up on a Sunday (why does my stuff always break on Sunday)? I knew it wouldn't be cheap and it wasn't, but really, not as bad as I feared. The tech Chris was great.
