    This is the condition of the faucet handle AFTER the plumber left.

    Plumber from Royal Flush comes to my mom's house to tighten handles on a faucet in a basement laundry room. There was no significant leak, maybe a drip every several minutes. But the handles are loose. I come over a day or two later and water is dripping at a very fast rate... could fill a bucket in maybe a half hour. Handles don't shut tighter than they are. A large puddle had collected on the floor where a hose meets the drain. My mom says she never checked their work, hasn't been in the basement, and was completely unaware of this. I call them up and tell the the problem, get a call-back from a technician (not the guy who actually did the work). I tell him the problem, I ask why didn't the plumber show my mom the work before he left. I say there's a big puddle on the floor, why didn't the plumber check everything and give my mom a recommendation. No answer. He says he doesn't know the extent of the problem, he's not there. He says to shut off the main water line because they can't come out until sometime the next day. I said, I'm using the water. The kicker is this guy keeps talking over me, and tells me, "I deal with homeowners like you all the time" meaning angry homeowners that aren't satisfied with the work they do or the answers they provide. I say, I'll send you a video to show you what's going on. I had taken a video of the dripping faucet and the water all over the floor. He says "you're full of baloney." Apparently this is how they address poor workmanship and unsatisfied customers. According to the technician, he deals with unsatisfied guys like me all the time -- an admission of incompetence from an employee of this company. Here's another issue. My mom wants the plumber during the same visit to fix low water pressure on a first-floor bathroom faucet. The handle on the faucet is shot, it's corroded and the hot/cold label has turned to dust. There's a brand new Delta faucet handle sitting there that fits that Delta faucet. The plumber doesn't say, hey, we should replace this handle. The thing is literally sitting there. I've included a picture of the old one. He actually worked on the faucet with this handle on it and left it! The photo I'm including is the condition of the faucet handle AFTER the plumber worked on the faucet. Yes! He actually saw it in this condition and didn't replace it with the new one sitting right there.

I cannot work with or recommend anyone who is undependable and have found someone else who can provide a dependable business experience. I will be calling the business who gave me the referral and let them know that it is risky to recommend anyone to their business. Evidently from other Yelp reviews customers either had positive experience or ones like mine with no reliability. This is disappointing as it is a locally owned business that offers numerous service if you can get them to follow through. I don't have the patience in spite of how kind the female was initially on the phone. If someone is not reliable, I don't want to waste my time with them and would caution others.

The email was hostile and unprofessional, sent at 11:48pm. Had the company reached out to me in a courteous or professional manner, and explained to me what had happened, then I would consider removing or changing my review. While I am sorry to hear about the passing of a family member/team member, it is not an excuse to wish bad karma on someone simply for leaving an honest review. As mentioned in my original review, while we never had SERVICES performed by this company, we still interacted with them on a professional basis. Customer service is apart of business just as much as services are. There is no reason to reach out to someone who left an honest review of their customer service and tell them, "I am so happy we did not continue on to consider you as a client.".

    Sal was extremely professional in sending out their repair person. However, the person who came…read morewas very unfriendly. When I asked him to wear a mask, he refused. When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. It seems like their goal is to sell you on getting very expensive work done with them on their financing plans. We called to get a drain snaked and in a couple hours they were trying to get me to sign something to get 11 thousand dollars of work done! What's worse they were kind of strong arming me into saying it absolutely had to be done now and things couldn't be left as they were. The only reason I'm not giving them a one star review is I'm giving them some benefit of the doubt that it wasn't a scam and that stuff really does have to be done. Plumber brought his boss over to try to scare me, a senior lady, into financing $12,000 to dig up my downstairs because "pipes were separated." I refused to sign anything! My son paid $250 for the plumber to do nothing and try to high pressure me. We had another company come out. The inspected and found a bad drain and a HUGE root ball. They replaced the bad drain, they let me watch on the monitor when they dug the hole. The downstairs was restored, washer will be re-installed when new cement is dry.
