Called on a Saturday and John was able to come out within a couple of hours. He was recommended by my mother-in-law. She had been using him for a plumber for years. And, she said that he was an honest guy. We also prefer to hire local. As opposed to one of those chain plumbing companies with subcontractors. He seemed like a very skilled plumber. And, he told us that he has been in the business for many years. His prices are so reasonable, that I felt like we should be paying him more! He also explained things, step by step, to both my husband and myself. As a woman, I can say that I didn't feel talked down to by John. And, I feel comfortable with letting him in the house. John did an awesome job. He was quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and worked around our crazy schedule. My son flushed a small aerosol can down the toilet. John got it out easily. He also tightened the flushing handle. While he was here my husband asked him to check out why our garbage disposal stopped working. John fixed it quick. He didn't try to upsell us on anything we didn't need. I've heard before that you can't trust plumbers to be honest and just do what you need, similar to how a car mechanic will try to make you fix unnecessary things. Needed John 3 different times in the last 1.5 months. One visit was for a hot water tank that he put as much priority on as if it was his own need.
