When she did finally look up she didn't say I'm sorry for the delay, or apologize or anything. Just looked at us like we were just an annoyance in her life at that time. She had an attitude and was NOT friendly at all! She didn't smile and was very rude! My friend asked her what time would the bar open? Her response was NEVER, again friend asked will it ever open and her response was NOPE. I will never stay there again. Honestly, we went in and out a lot and not once did we see her smile in the 2 days of staying there. It would probably be in your best interest for your hotel by getting rid of her. I didn't catch her name because she didn't have a badge on. She was working the desk on Monday the 23rd of March at 4:00 in the afternoon. I could give a description of her but maybe you can figure out who she was by the date and time. Also, if you advertise a bar it should be open. Ridiculous!!!! I'm sure this will never make it to the right people because it looks like there are a lot of complaints about the check in process.

The outside of the building is very run down. Curtains from the outside are stained and not adhered to the curtain rod and hooks, so dirty curtains that didn't close all the way. Our room faced the street, so street noise and light was very prevalent, which affected the sleep of the children. The AC unit was dirty and not working properly. The bathroom was peeling and had mold in the cracks. Carpet was cut in different places. The smoke detector was handing from the ceiling, outlets hanging from the walls. All of this for the same price as a regular priced hotel that is clean and well maintained. It was better than sleeping in our car, but if you have it in you, hold out and go a bit further into Amarillo.

I was trying to get on the road early and it was nice that the breakfast was up and open a few minutes before the 6:00 start time that they had announced. The breakfast was fresh, hot, and tasty. Located on the south side of town access to the hotel has also improved lately as the construction in the area is now completed. Further development of the area now has an Arbys and a Taco Bueno available with a quick walk across the parking lot. I definitely recommend staying here if you are going through the area.
