Mrs. Tee is nothing short of amazing and proactive with the kids at this learning center. My 2 year old son was not social at all, kind of none verbal and did not care to interact with other children and just after about going on 2 months of being here, his learning milestones and motor skills have drastically improved. He comes home saying random colors, words and singing the good morning song. He plays more well now with his peers and cousins of his age. He plays with his toys correctly now lol and walks into the learning center happily and proud and I am so appreciative of this! Mrs. Tee proactively works towards each kids needs and is very helpful with the developmental and learning skills that they need! It is like a home inside a home and the aurora around is amazing! I value this learning facility to fullest because it is just that, my son actually learns, and it is more than a daycare! 10 out of 10 I would recommend. This school along with Mrs. Tee has been God sent to me, my son & family! We are going to enjoy our time here and I would tell anyone anyday to send your child here, the feeling of not worrying about my child being harmed and receiving the same love, abundance, nurturement and teaching when not being with me, is a priceless and heart felt feeling I feel each and every day! :)

Addition context after Goddard's response:…read more After our initial review and Goddard's administrators political non speak response, our son is thriving in public school and all his teachers love him and say while he's high energy it's their job to channel that energy. We have also found out after a few months of school, that other parents that sent their kids to Goddard were targeted for early pick up as well. The facility doesn't care for every student, they only care for the students that fit their own mold and if you don't fit their mold, they will trash talk you and your parenting behind your back. We have now heard at least four other families that have endured the same disrespect from Goddard. Be warned.

The staff exemplified…read moreincompetence...our child was in the Early Pre-School class with Meesha, who lacked classroom management training, but mastered lying. When addressing issues we witnessed on the cameras she would lie and deny and run to Julia (Asst. Director) who is also her roommate and they would deny and cover for each other. In the meantime, we constantly asked when a teaching module would be put in place and were constantly told by the director, Dakesha that the first month was for observation...he was there from August until July of this year and we received not one formal evaluation of any sort. Once during a meeting with them we were given an print out of another child's evaluation. Often told that so many things were against the law...giving another child's information should definitely be against the law. There are far too many incidents to name here, but one in particular where a student that threw chairs and furniture every day hit our child in the face with a basket with metal rods and Meesha failed to write an incident report...another day she claimed a shelf fell on him...no incident report written (Where and why would shelves fall in a daycare setting?) One day while taking lunch to our child, he was met outside because they were having a fire drill and he was with Dakesha only to be told that there was an "incident" but he was okay. No incident report written. There was an intervention meeting held and even after an intervention it was determined that she needed more training... the final straw was two weeks ago. A new man was placed in a classroom being trained under Meesha who still needs to be trained and when we had questions about his nervous energy and observing him we were told that we made him nervous vs. the acknowledgement of requesting that he not be left with our child without another teacher present...he was seen on camera grabbing him...when the whole year no one has grabbed him, as is their policy and should not happen. We were also told that they cannot "make" students do anything...so grabbing him should never have happened. These folks tried to make us feel as if what was seen on camera didn't happen. Every time we observed and brought anything to their attention....it didn't matter. The game is lie and deny. A full year of paying $285 weekly for him to learn how to jump on furniture, become aggressive, and taught NOTHING. If we were not working with him at home he would know nothing. We basically paid for him to have untrained babysitters. So, if you just want babysitters La Petite of Tyrone is the place to go. THE CAMERAS DO NOT MATTER. THEY WILL LIE AND DENY ANYTHING YOU QUESTION. If you want a structured, safe environment with competent staff...run far away! Oh we stopped by to get his records, and were told, there is NOTHING in his files...exactly! He was never taught nor evaluated all year long. There is soooooooo much more I can write, but I will digress.

This daycare is not reliable and has poor communication. There is no back up for the teachers that call out so the parents have to find an alternative or just call out of work. They will not issue a refund even though they are not allowing the children to be at daycare. Very dissatisfied with how the 2 owners do not reach out to parents prior to them getting to the school. A 30 day termination was provided, and the next morning the owner handed me a early termination, stating that my child will no longer be enrolled as of that day. The owner was aware that I had to be at work at 8 am, the early termination was handed to me at 7:45 am. The app is not for daily updates, it is only for signing in and out. Worker asked for me to stop calling and checking on my child and said "she was fine" . If there were actually updates on the app like they advertise I would not have to call. 0 STARS. I would never recommend, especially if you are solely dependent on this child care.
