I hired this firm for a civil lawsuit that Alex repeatedly estimated would cost no more than the low six-figure range from start to finish. I relied on those assurances when deciding how to proceed. Yet after three years of representation, and after already approaching six figures in payments, I was suddenly informed--right before trial--that the total cost could be nearly double the amount originally quoted. This drastic change came with no prior warning, no detailed explanation, and no reasonable justification. Even worse, Alex refused to reschedule my trial date unless I paid an additional $30,000 retainer, despite the trial being almost a year away. This made it financially impossible to continue under his representation and forced me to find new counsel just to keep my case alive.
