Amazingly, I received a thorough response within 6 minutes, even during lunch. The paralegal quoted a market hourly rate for the services they could perform, though they couldn't handle all my requests--an acceptable outcome. Unexpectedly, it was apparent I wouldn't work with my reference but instead with an unnamed associate. That limited my ability to research the professional I'd be working with. The paralegal also referred me to another firm that might meet all my needs. I felt that was a fast and efficient reply! Next, I researched the other firm, which is a large practice with many "specialties," making them seem more generalist than this firm. While the other firms' principal is well regarded, it seemed as though clients rarely work directly with her. Also, several reviews of the other firm appeared to me to be quite strident. When referring out, I think it's important to ensure the other firm can uphold your same high standards, as your reputation is linked to the quality of your recommendation. There was limited value in the contact I made since it did not directly lead to business with this firm or the referred firm. The stars are for expedient and polite response, clear and direct communication, and an attempt to be helpful. I'm going with four stars. At least they didn't waste my time in the help they were able to provide. Hopefully they can help you completely.

Just on our first call (free!) she literally solved my problems with them after reading through the contract and advised me of next steps. She gave me an option of using her or doing it myself saying she would be available if I needed help! I have talked to a few real estate attorney being in this business and I know they would make the situation worse than it was just to make sure I probably signed up to use them. I appreciate her honesty and guidance! If you need a trusted legal advisor look no further! You can't go wrong! She will tell you exactly what you need to hear (maybe not what you want to hear sometimes?!) but it will be the right advice for sure!

We found Sade here on yelp. She doesn't have many reviews (yet!), but don't let that fool you!…read more We ultimately chose to use her as our lawyer not just because of her great reviews here, but because we really liked how put-together her website was, and just how she came off as a person. We had some credit card debt that we were being sued for. As bad as that sounds, we never felt like Sade judged us. We were embarrassed enough by the situation, and her positive and professional attitude really helped. Made me feel like less of one of "those" people, if you know what I mean. We contacted her very late in the game-- we only had a week I believe before we were due to appear in court. She charged us an up-front fee that was reasonable, and the billing was by hour. After everything was said and done, we didn't end up owing her anything extra. She knew just how much time she would have to spend on the case, and her breakdown of the billing was sincere. I never felt like she was slowing the process down to charge us more, as I've heard some lawyers do. In fact, she immediately started paperwork, and not only were we able to avoid appearing in court altogether, but she negotiated our settlement for less than half of what we were being sued for-- just as she said she could. She was always very prompt to reply to our emails, and didn't mind a ton of questions. She offers credit repair, and we're thinking of taking her up on that soon, as we would like to buy a house in the next year or 2. I would recommend Sade to anyone who needed a lawyer-- there's not a single thing I'd change about her or our experience with her!

I wanted to take care of some important things in my life, like Estate Planning and getting my estate and health wishes in order before my retirement age to make life easier for my relatives without the future expenses of attorneys and having my legal & health documents all done and stored in one place. I called Christopher Daves to make an appointment for a meeting to come in to discuss setting up a plan to protect my assets he called me back the same day. I met with Christopher and he was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable to all the questions and answers in setting up my Trust. I had just gone through probating my mother's will. Her home was valued at $85,000 and only about $15,000 in other assets including cash. The small town attorney in Gatesville, TX charged me $3,000 which I thought was outrageous since her estate was so small. The total amount was not much more for setting up my Estate Planning and creating my personalized Trust that Christopher Daves prepared. I decide to do a REVOCABLE TRUST - putting all my assets including my rental homes and my LLC's into the trust so my trustee, upon my death steps in and continues to run business without dealing with an attorney or probate judge making an appointment. All my deeds, bank accounts and personal assets were transferred to the trust protecting me against any future losses or liability. Knowing I'm protected when my health declines in the future and I'm protected for any lawsuits or scams when I get older is such a peace of mine. When my personalized Trust was finalized and Christopher recorded all my deeds. I was given a binder with all my legal documents all in one place to have access to. Very simple organization at a very affordable price and peace of mind. I highly recommend Christopher Daves for your Estate Planing or other legal needs.

I'm a real estate investor, so I am consistently working with motivated sellers who are facing financial hardship and extenuating circumstances. Last weekend, I notified Wally that I had a house that needed to close by Friday of the upcoming week. The seller was facing foreclosure, and I was trying to close a deal "subject to." I had originally scheduled the closing with a different title company, but they notified me at the last minute that they couldn't close a "subject to" deal. The title work didn't come in until late Thursday, which under ordinary circumstances meant that the closing would happen early the following week. That wasn't an option for the seller, since he was scheduled to start a new job in Florida on Monday. If the deal didn't close on Friday, the seller would have lost his new job in Florida, and his house in Texas would have been foreclosed upon. He was flat broke, and needed the proceeds from the sale just to get to Florida. Wally and his team (Oscar, Paula, Taylor, and Mic) pulled all kinds of strings to prepare the documents for closing by 5 pm. They even stayed late (on a Friday!) to ensure that the deal got done. I can't thank the employees enough for their dedication to the cause during this tumultuous process. They were booked solid with closings, but somehow pulled together to close the deal and keep the seller's life in order. I am absolutely going to recommend Wally Tingley and Associates to all, and I personally will be giving him lots of my business going forward!
