Edit 11-5-16 I'm getting some sh*t for my review and I think something needs to be cleared. I'm not arguing about being late. Yes I was late so yes I expected to be rushed TO AN EXTENT. One way or another though, even if we had gotten there at 630 we still would've been there after closing time. I was 10 minutes late, not 30 and my friends set took over an hour. Maybe if you get there early you'll like it here. But for the money there's better salons to go. I went to a salon in Cypress and all the techs and the manager had to stay over an hour extra because of the amount of clients. It happens. Gina was good at what she did so if you feel the need to go here then go early. I saw such good reviews about this place so my friend and I decided to come here. I made an appt for both of us at 6:30PM on a Thursday night. I talked to jimmy and I told him I wanted a regular Manicure and my friend wanted to get a full acrylic set. He asked if its possible for us to come in at 6 instead because the acrylics take time and when I asked how long he said "within an hour". I told him we would try but because of work I wanted the appt at 6:30. He said ok and hung up. I thought it was weird that he only asked for my name and nothing else, didn't want my friend name or my number. Got off work late and we arrived at the salon 10 minutes late. I understand that being late is irritating but jimmy was really rude about it. He was staring at us from the door and when we walked in, saying we were sorry but we got off work late, all he could say was you're 15 minutes late, you should have called, we waited for you and gave your spot away. I understand that he's mad that we were late and didn't have a chance to call but he should've asked for my number and called me. That's what a lot of places do, you ask for the number just in case. We go in and the place is clean and everything is neat and orderly. We're trying to pick a polish and the whole time he is standing behind us saying that we were late, over and over again. When we couldn't pick a color one of the lady techs said that there were more colors on the other wall and he said "no." Again, I understand that we were late but we weren't the only ones in the salon, there were 3-5 other ladies getting their nails done when we walked in. After we both picked a color he tells me that because we were late he gave away my manicure spot to another lady and they could only do my friends full acrylic set. By the time he told us that my friend already had the acrylics glued to her fingers so we couldn't just leave. While she's getting her nails done 2 or 3 other ladies finished with their clients. Any of those ladies could have done my manicure for me with 30 minutes to spare. All I wanted was a basic manicure, nothing that would take a long time. But because "we were late" they didn't take me. It was fine, by that point I didn't want to get them done anymore anyway. By the time my friends nails were almost done there was 1 other client get a mani pedi and some techs and jimmy. My friends tech was Gina and she is good at what she does. The acrylics shape was very nice but the only thing was it felt very rushed because she wanted to go home. If she took her time then I think it would have been much better. After the last lady left we stayed another 15-20 minutes because my friends nails weren't dry. In the end she paid $32 for a set of acrylics and matte polish. Overall. The quality of the nails weren't bad. Again, I feel they'd be better if she had taken her time but she was rushing. Price is a bit much. They do charge for shaping the acrylics. So you pay for the acrylic set. And for them to file and shape them. Customer service. On the managers part was very bad. If it was just the nail service I would have given this place another try but the service needs a lot of work. Jimmy said "you were late" 50 times in the time we were there and he would not let it drop. We apologized right when we walked in and didn't argue to get my nails done and yet he kept saying it. Another thing is the time, when I called and asked he told me the nails would take "within an hour" from my friend sitting in the chair (after picking a color) to sitting in front of a fan to dry her nails it took a bit over an hour. Why take a client who wants acrylics at 630 if you close at 7 and leaving on time means so much to you? read more

I have been coming to Royal Nails for about 8 months now and I love it! They work by appointment only, so make sure to call and schedule an appointment before you arrive!!!! I love the fact that they schedule appointments, I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes and usually they take me 10 to 15 minutes earlier than my appointment time if they are not busy. It can get busy here on the weekends and in the evening, so I usually try to come on week days or in the morning on the weekends. The owner Jimmy is very professional, he schedules the appointments to give his staff enough time to take care of their clients without rushing. He also offers water, tea or coffee upon arrival. Kim is my go to girl! She's very sweet and does a fantastic job on my gel manicure and pedicure, I am usually there for about 2 hours because I get both my mani and pedi done by one person. Although I prefer Kim, the other women also do a great job from what I have seen. I'd highly recommend this salon to those looking for a new place. read more

Lynn and all the staff there were very welcoming. She took her time and did a great job! Even though t's about a 20 min drive from where I live, I would drive to come to this place. The service is very good, and the women are so sweet.
