Unfortunately, I will not be frequenting this location anymore. This has been our go-to nail salon since moving to Ontario four years ago, and until yesterday, I had always enjoyed the service. Despite the continued price increases over the years, we remained loyal customers because we valued the experience. Yesterday, however, the business decisions and customer service were extremely disappointing. My husband and I came in requesting two pedicures. We waited less than five minutes before being seated. While they started my pedicure, my husband's feet were left soaking as he waited for service to begin. Shortly after I was taken in, additional customers arrived and were immediately attended to before my husband, despite the fact that we had already been seated and waiting. It became very clear that other customers were being prioritized over him. We consistently purchase deluxe pedicures, not regular services, which made the situation even more frustrating. After two other customers were taken ahead of him, and nearly 30 minutes had passed since my service began, we decided my husband would no longer continue waiting. As we were leaving, we were told that the other customers had appointments. That explanation made little sense considering no one communicated that to us beforehand, nor did anyone think it inappropriate to leave someone soaking in water for almost half an hour without service. This situation was poorly handled and extremely disappointing, especially as longtime loyal customers. read more

This has been our go to spot, but unfortunately that might change, as they did a very bad job in serving us. It was just me and my wife waiting to get a pedicure, as soon as two spots opened, they sat us down. They started on my wife but were waiting for the next worker to be free, so they can start on me. Upon waiting, 4 others walked in, and completely ignored the fact that I was still waiting, then proceeded to help the other 4 instead, while I was waiting. I honestly didn't mind not getting a pedicure, so I just decided, that wasn't the right thing to do, and just got up and decided to go outside and wait. I'm just disappointed that they decided to help others that had just walked in, instead of me, after waiting 30 minutes. read more

It was my third visit here and I love how my nails turn out! I just got a full set done by Emma (it has been years since I got a full set) and she was so patient and friendly. She is also talented! She did exactly what I wanted from a picture I brought in. I am so happy with my St. Patrick's Day inspired nails! Everyone is friendly and talented as well. They accept walk ins and appointments. The nail tech was super nice and made sure I was happy with the color and the whole set which I was . Service was nice she was just a little too rough and fast in a rush it feels like . Once I told her she was too rough she did ease up on my nails though so I appreciate that . I only did not quite agree with the pricing . They charge extra just for cuticle care and trimming . I thought that use to Be all included not extra . I normally go To a nail tech at her house but she is about to give birth so I had no choice but to Come to a nail salon and the same amount I would pay her I get all cuticle care and trimming and cleaning up the cuticles by hand instead of them Just drilling at the salon. Tony is the best. I only get the gel manicure but he is meticulous and doesn't cause any pain when he does cuticles. I can't speak for acrylics because I haven't gotten them but I'm sure he's great. I've had pedicures from other members of the staff and they're good too and not that busy usually. read more

I went for a fill yesterday. Unfortunately Emma wasn't available I still stood for services. I did not like the way it came out. So instead of complaining about it, I figured I'll just suck it up come see and pay Emma to fix them. So I called this morning(2/11/26) about nine ask for Emma they said she would be in but not sure the time. So that kind of made it hard on me bc I wanted to come in the morning but didn't want to commit to a time and be late. Appointment was set for 1030 I arrived late 11. Now there has been times where I have set an appointment with her and I have to wait bc she took a walk in before my appointment so I have to wait on her. It happens great work. But today she was upset and instead of them telling me to come back bc she has someone else, they wanted to put me with someone else. And I said why is Emma not available? She started with well she waited on you for an hour, I was like wait if she's busy that's fine you could have said that and I'll come back, but then I asked when . Emma and the front spoke in their language and told me to come back at one when the place was empanada she always takes walk ins. I told them this is not rt I use to be a regular! I'm done with their charging me different prices when they want to. Oh and only use the Tuesday 10% whenever they choose to. Depends on who's working that day! They want to say that's only for your birthday? Please ask for all pricing before saying yes bc you don't want to be surprised with the last little extra 7-30 bucks extra. Disappointed sorry I'll choose loyalty and honesty over work ethics.. .. I think they should automatically tell you the price when they talking about designs .. It's like they are all the same. Bad manicure the lady rushed it . She Didn't properly remove the gel she buffed it out instead (the easy way to get me out ) instead of soaking the gel off, even after I asked . I normally don't write a review unless it's something positive. But I came into this place. It's my first time. I watched them mistreat another customer just because she came in to have them fix something that they didn't do correctly. They ignored her and left her unattended with her hands, sitting in acetone for over half an hour. She was crying and in tears, and everyone walked past her they're even talking about her and laughing at her in her face as I sat there watching I felt Disheartened because if they would do that to her, they would do that to me. I watched her being ignored with her hand soaking an acetone as new customers came in being offered water, coffee, etc., and being treated with care. I think that every customer deserves to be treated the same a lot of times people walk out, not happy with the service and don't say anything because they don't want to accept anyone. It takes a lot of courage for someone to walk back in and ask for something to be corrected. I am a business owner so I understand customer service and sometimes it's just listening to someone and giving them that extra time that makes all the difference in the world. $108 for two kids' pedicures, one kid manicure, and one classic adult gel pedicure. They charged $10 more bc the kids requested to use more than one color. The nail tech ignored my daughter when she tried to tell her that she was applying the wrong color. I told her, and she wiped the color off with the towel staining the skin around the nail. The appointment was for 2 manis and 3 pedis. After they finished my toes, my nail tech walked off and didn't come back. I waited a while and decided I was done and paid. **update**I got a call from the same front desk saying they have a video of me leaving without paying. I told them I inserted my card to pay. I even took out cash to give the nail techs a tip even though I was not satisfied with the customer service. She said no, you need to come in, and we can discuss your review. So I had to change my plans to come and pay them. Let me be clear, the nails were good. The manager did call later to apologize. First time coming and would definitely come back! First thing to mention, the nail techs are detailed and take care of all your needs. They really make sure it is what u like and what u want, completely open to opinions. I wasn't 100% sure what kind of design i wanted for my nails. So Helen had given me options and even did the designs so i can see which one i would prefer. Its not often that nail salons would do that. The service was quick, gentle, and surely worth it! The bottom of the nails were filed clean and Helen understood the problems i had with my previous nail tech from a different salon. I surely walked out a happier camper here! By far the worst nails I've ever got done! I went a couple weeks ago and asked for ombré nails and used the last photo as inspiration and this is what I got. This is far from ombré, I was so embarrassed to walk around with these I went elsewhere a few days later to get them painted over. The shapes are uneven, some are more pointy others are slightly more rounded and some of the nails are just completely crooked. There was also color on my fingers that she didn't bother cleaning off. I had her try to fix the thumb but it was worse. If the nail tech was unable to do this design, I wish she would have said so, I would've just requested to paint themsolid color. You could tell by my facial expression that I was unsatisfied so she offer to put a rhinestone on each nail as if that would make them look better, I declined. I was charged $72 for this mess. That was the first time I had been there, and I will not be going back again. read more

I have been coming here for the past 2 years and the service has always been great until today. A gentleman did my pedicure which was awesome no complaints. However Tina did my nails and I asked for an acrylic ombré and it came out horrible 2 of my nails came out completely pink no ombré. One of my thumbs is more square than the other she did a rounded square instead of just square. She asked me what shape I said square. Also the front desk lady was rude she tells me at the time that I'm paying that the tip is cash only and that I could use the atm. So I take out the tip on her arm machine then she tells me why didn't u take out the full amount in cash and since I will be paying the service on card they only give me half points and they prefer their customers to pay cash only. I was never told that from the beginning of my service this place has changed the service sucks and I will not be returning. read more

I've been going to Royal Nails and Spa since the spring. I was looking for a place that did structured gel manicures, and I read good reviews. The reviews were right. I had several great manicures here, and I love the Gel X type products -- they are much gentler on my nails than acrylics ever were and my nails are long and strong now. Danny is now my go-to nail tech. He's meticulous. He works to get the shape of your nails consistent, asks questions to determine what you like so he can deliver exactly what you want. He's truly an artist and a professional. My last couple of visits, I've requested nail art. He did a 3D flower with a rhinestone in the center that was still perfect weeks later. He suggested a marbled design, and I got tons of compliments. This time, I came with a photo for inspiration, and he did his own take on it -- turning the glam way up.
