I rarely leave reviews, but after multiple bad experiences, I feel obligated to warn others. The man answering the phones is completely non-service oriented and comes across as totally uninterested in servicing his clients. Several times I made appointments expecting to see the technician I booked with, only to arrive and be handed off to whoever happened to be available. What's the point of making an appointment if it isn't honored? Why not tell the customer the technician is unavailable? Unfortunately, every time this has happened, my experience has been extremely disappointing. My nails were rushed, cut far shorter than I requested, each nail had varied lengths & shapes and on more than one occasion my skin was actually cut during the service. I left unhappy and frustrated after giving them multiple chances to get it right. It's been my experience that the customer service, consistency, and basic care seem to be lacking here. There are too many good salons out there to waste your time and money on a place that doesn't value its customers. I will say Sammy is awesome, but unfortunately, you don't get the same quality from the other nail technicians. read more

Cute nail and spa place in a shopping center plaza very clean and very nice staff. I had a spa pedicure here and enjoyed it as included hot stone massage and twenty minutes of foot massage. The prices are a bit steep. I also had waxing done on eyebrows and the wax technique lacked a bit but maybe that was due to my first time coming. AVOID the shoulder massage. The manicurist placed her entire hands up into my hair on both sides of my head, WHILE THEY WERE COVERED IN LOTION. Absolutely ruined a new blow out. Have washed my hair once and there is still lotion residue, will have to do again. Left my hair looking like bed-head from the ears back on both sides. Never experienced anything like it. Wow. This place is absolutely wonderful. Been to blue lotus but this place is way better. There was no rush in the pedicure. And you werent constantly moved around. I have been going to Royal nails for a few years and have referred MANY friends and family , I have always been happy with the service at this salon. I went in today to get a pedicure and was taken right away because no one was there. I chose a gel spa pedi for $95, Included in the package is a 15 minute chair massage. I asked if I could just add the chair massage to a foot massage instead, because I am having neck surgery and can't physically do the massage, the owner flat out refused. I said ok, but I'm not paying for a service I'm not getting and he said "it's free" to which I said "no it's not" and left the salon. I am actually surprised this happened and will not be returning, I will also let my friends and family know how Royal Nails treats a loyal customer. read more

It was my first time and I was tempted after the good reviews. Upon arriving the inside is nice and clean. I got my nails done by Jeff and he was not very friendly and got an attitude and mumbling under his breath when I was not pleased with the shape of my nails and he could not get it right. They also started to crack the next day. I had a pedicure done by (Dina) and she did a good job, but was not able to remove the acrylic and put it back on my toes as asked. They seemed to have a hard time understanding English and what I was asking. When I sat down to do my nails they ask do you want a massage and of course I assumed it's free, but as I'm paying the receptionist says the tip for the massage is over there. So I gave a $5 tip. Then I gave the girl who did my pedicure a tip and the one who added the acrylic. I did not give Jeff a tip because I did not like his attitude and I'm glad I didn't because my nails started to crack the next day and SNS (dipping powered should not). Because I did not tip him the receptionist runs out after me in the parking lot to inform me I did not tip him. I think it was rude to run after me as if I forgot. If I want to give a tip and it's deserved I will. They lost stars due to attitude and service mostly. read more

Poor management. It says Walk-Ins Welcome, but walk-ins are NOT welcome! They greet you every time with - "Do you have an appt"? Ok, so I got tired of that and started making appts. Doesn't matter, they never have enough staff. They turn people away (even with appts) all the time. I always get the 'cucumber' pedicure for $45 which includes 10 min. chair massage. Guess what? The last 3 times, after the pedicure is complete, they then inform me there's no massage staff. So, I say, you should tell me that before I pick the more expensive pedicure, I pick it specifically because it includes the 10 min. massage. You'll have to give me a refund. Then miraculously, the massage happens by the same girl who did the pedicure. They are always trying to weasel out of the 10 min. massage that's INCLUDED. I'm done fighting for it. Last week when I was there, 4 people showed up, (two with appointments) and after a loud screaming match in Chinese on the phone with the owner (who is never there), they had all 4 people walk out! read more

After reading the Yelp reviews I decided to try Royal salon as I was very unhappy with another nail salon after 2 unpleasant visits in a row. Coco and Leo were professional and very pleasant. The salon itself is very bright and open and seemed very clean. The prices are reasonable and I was pleased with my pedicure. They had MANY colors to choose from. First time visiting and it won't be the last! Had a great experience all the way around. Very clean and Covid conscious! Kevin did my pedicure, manicure and a 10 minute massage that was included with my pedicure package. Everything was going great till I went to pay and realized I had switched purses and didn't bring any means of payment. Had my phone with me so I tried Venmo, Zelle and then Apple Pay and unfortunately they didn't accept any of those methods. Luckily my hubby answered the phone and was able to give a credit card number over the phone, crises averted. I was in a total panic and thankfully they were not!
