The Spa is such a good find. It's tucked in so it's quite relaxing and quiet. They have a lot of staff and so many colours to choose from. The manicurist's behavior was appalling and the overall manicure sub-par (see photos below for the hack job on my cuticles and the overall streaky and messy colour). Not only did she apologize, but she explained things (why they've been short staffed, why it's been hard to get in touch, etc), without trying to excuse them and then she laid out her plan of solutions. Big props to the young woman running this bustling business- a one-woman show- with integrity and respect. I booked my appointment online, which was very quick and easy. I've been a few times, hoping once I got into their grove, things would improve. I can't even count the number of unreturned voicemails I've left. The place I normally go was closed. So they said they'd do it and said it was $5.65. Normally it's $3-5 so whatever that's fine. (This is without colour, just two layers of gel). When I stood up to pay she said $5.65 and then when we got to cash she said $9.05. I repeated her and she said "Tax". Tax is 1.13%. Please don't go there. They charged me $10 ("only 9" is what she said to me) to fix one f---- nail, a full set - as I read on their pricing sheet - is $30. So unless they're actually charging $100 for a full set of gel nails with NO COLOUR she made a nice f---- tip for herself. Please for the love of god don't go here. Such a blatant rip off.
