The staff are very sweet. From the looks on the outside, the store doesn't seem much but the technicians there blew my mind. They have talent. I got LONG acrylics and they lasted about 4 weeks without lifting. read more

After 8 years of excellent service I was extremely disappointed by the disrespectful behaviour of the owners daughter yesterday! I was unhappy with the service I had received and called to talk to the owners about it. Their daughter answered the phone and asked if I could call back later because they were busy. I stated that I had received poor service earlier in the day and wanted to talk to one of the owners about it. Instead of asking me any questions about the poor service, offering to take my number and have them call back back as soon as they could she again stated they were busy, I would have to call back later and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I got into my car and drove back to the salon. When I walked in I asked the lady at the desk to speak to the owners. I recognized her voice so knew this was the lady that had hung up on me. My intention was to talk to one of the owners outside the salon so as not to disrupt anyone's salon experience. She acknowledged that she was the one who had taken my call. A heated discussion ensued which was horribly embarrassing for me. At no time did she ask me anything about why I was unhappy with the service she only seemed concerned about telling me how busy the salon was and defending her very disrespectful behaviour. Eventually one of the owners came and I advised I would speak with her outside so as not to disrupt the other clients any further. As has always been my experience the owner was very professional and apologized for her daughters behaviour. I stated clearly that her daughter needs to realize that the reason the salon is busy is because her parents treat their clients with respect which results in long term loyal clients like myself!!!! Hopefully after a discussion with her parents this young lady will conduct herself in a respectful manner towards clients - especially long term loyal clients! read more

Have been coming here periodically for years and am now a regular for sure, always friendly service! I've never been dissatisfied with anything they've done. Will not go anywhere else for a pedicure, they do a great job. Started getting power dip on my nails months back and am addicted now! If anything ever happens(chip etc.) they are happy to fix it and always so kind. Have to move away for school soon and don't know how I'll be able to leave Royal nails! read more

I had a very disappointing visit at Royal nails. I had a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure at Country nails. Royal nails has now taken over their phone number and finally consented to honour the gift certificate. I gave the girl gift certificate when I arrived and He showed it to another fellow. when I came to pay they said they needed to gift certificate to record it's number. I looked through my purse three times with a girl coaching me to just go through every piece of paper and pocket. A fellow told me to go through my coat which I did several times. I finally said maybe you have it but the girl insisted she would never keep the gift certificate. I said I'm not paying again as I already gave her the price increase of nine dollars and a tip. After much discussion in Vietnamese the girl I opened the cash drawer and pulled out my gift certificate which she proceeded to open and to start ripping up. I asked her what she was doing that look like my certificate. She finally said it's OK and walked away without an apology #?! I would have said more but I already was late for a dinner date! Owners are pathetic. You ask for a refund on their cheap acrylic manicure that broke within hours after, they get offended and try and kick you out. The old lady who works there started having a screaming fit over us asking for refunds. Wouldn't recommend coming here they do a cheap job and are sad excuse for a business. read more

Horrible service. Nails broke 3 hours after being applied, was unable to return the next day due to my godfather passing and that I simply wanted a refund as I did not have time to sit and have them fixed as she suggested. The female and male (owners I believe) of the shop started getting angry at me for asking for a refund. I paid $38 with a $5 tip and I've never had such a poor job done. The female women argued with me about how I was ridiculous for asking for a refund and further explained "you wouldn't go to another business and ask for your money back". Ive worked in customer service my whole work career and the customer is always right, to have them shue me out of the store after I explained my situation was just incredibly heart breaking to see. I advice to steer clear of this shop. read more

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE!!! As soon as we walked we were greeted very rudely in front of other customers..it was so embarrassing! We made an appointment than half way through she left to treat walk in customers, came back 45 minutes later just to leave again for another 10 minutes. They made me bleed and complained that the shape I picked would be hard for them to do and tired to guilt me into picking a different one. read more
