I called Fredy for a slatted patio overhang which was missing one slat and found a beam and several other slats had rot. Fredy and his team were fast, conscientious and did a top notch job. We've had good ones, not so good ones, but last week we found an exceptional company - 24 Hr Painting. We have two patio (front porch and back) trellis's and overhangs which had to have beams removed due to dry rot. Once that job was finished, we received a more than fair quote from Freddie. We got two more estimates, but there was something about Freddie we liked. He mapped everything out for us, took time to listen to what we needed done, and never once pressured us into signing a work agreement. He said, "When ready, just give me a call." And, we did. Freddy was quick to respond to my request for a bid, which when received was very competitive and fair, especially when other companies failed to respond. My house needed stucco repair, air vents replaced where animals had been accessing under the floor, the front screen door securing, the eaves and trim painting: the whole house needed a much needed makeover. I would definitely recommend 24 Freddy's team worked hard and professionally, took their time with the preparation, sanding down the old paint and masking-up to prevent overspray and splashes. They patched where the old stucco had dropped-off and primered everywhere, before painting my chosen color scheme. One of Freddy's team suggested I replace my porch light and rear security lights, which I had not thought about, but agreed for them to carry out. I just had other painters come who told me since Fredy put the paint on without prepping the doors (sand, prime), even if they paint over it since Fredy's layer of paint was not properly applied it will still peel. So, to fix Fredy's job they have to either sand through the layer of paint he applied to get to the door underneath or I can buy new doors. Otherwise, Fredy's layer may still continue to peel. The picture below shows where he just painted over the doors without prepping, as you can see the edge of where it was peeling before and rather than sand down and prime, they just painted over it. read more
