Ordered 2 pizzas. one was the Canadian Club...no tomatoes all I got was sorry!! we were also charged twice told it was only a hold. I have never heard of that generally if a transaction doesn't go thru it just doesn't go thru. Person I spoke to said it happens all the time. So glad the 16 year old I spoke to is so knowledgeable about banking and knows more than a former bank employe. We will never order from this location again read more

i have ordered from royal pizza a lot hys center location on friday i ordered a donair fries boneless chicken and gravy the worst food gravy ice cold fries hard as rock and burnt and the donair had no meat in it total order went in the garbage paid with tip over 52.00 called them right away and they said i could get a 17.00 credit not right is this how you deal with a unhappy customer i will never order from there again and will make sure i tell everyone about how i was treated i waited all night for a return call never got it so i called back on sat was told no managers around and all they would do is the 17.00 refund he just said ok i said i was not he just said ya ok not a happy customer will go else where in the furture read more

We ordered the large royal pizza online. It was very good. It even arrived before the time they posted and it was hot!

Very disappointed. Ordered chicken wings for 12.95 and received 7 wings. Called to ask after getting my food, I was told that you are suppose to get 8 but they decided to start weighing the chicken wings and serve by weight. The online menu doesn't actually say how many wings for the price, I assumed it would be 10-12 wings. So I was shocked to see this tiny order. The person on the phone was rude and couldn't care less about the fact they aren't serving the correct amount by royal pizzas menu. Not impressed. I was charged for delivery and gave a tip to the driver. Never ordering from them again. Food portions are not worth your money. read more

This was my second time at Royal Pizza. I had a good experience last time I was there so decided to pop in again today for lunch in between medical appointments. The restaurant was pretty empty. The waitress slapped a menu on a table and said, "sit wherever you want." So, I did. And I sat there. And sat there. There was only one customer on that whole side of the restaurant and two ladies at the counter that I could see. I arrived at the restaurant at 11:55 am and walked out at 12:15 pm. Twenty minutes is too long of a wait to take an order - even drinks! Maybe it was a bad day for staff. But I won't be back. read more

I'm from out of town and was looking for a good pizza place. I picked up a meat lovers pizza and went back to my hotel to eat. I'm trying to think of a way to write this without sounding like I'm exaggerating but it was the best pizza I have ever had. It is the pizza that all future pizzas will be measured against. They certainly didn't scrimp on toppings as it was loaded with meats and cheese. The sauce was perfect. Not too much and not overpowering. I called for delivery but was told it would be a 60-90 minute wait so I went to pick it up. Easy to find and lots of street parking. You get 30 minutes free at the parking meters. read more

This branch only has pizza and pasta. Had baked spaghetti lunch meal. It was a small serving of baked pasta with red sauce and a slice of garlic toast. I have to say the portion is too small for the price and the amount i paid for is a lunch promo. The original price costs more (maybe portion is bigger? idk). Taste was okay. Nothing amazing. I first got to try the pizza at a volunteer dinner for Deadmonton Haunted house. The owners would send over pizza often, they are lovely people! My favourite here is the "Fred" which is another take on the traditional Hawaiian pizza. The crust is always done properly and they don't skimp on the toppings. They also have pasta, steak, salad and wings to choose from. The baked spaghetti and meatballs is pretty awesome! Parking downtown is a chore at best, but delivery is available within a certain radius of downtown. I love the decor in the restaurant. There are many Edmonton historical photos hanging on the walls. You can give yourself a bit of an education while you wait for your dinner. read more

This is the second time I have had exceptionally bad service from this restaurant . The manager whose name is Joan , hung up on me three times because she claimed they were so busy. It shouldn't matter that they are busy as I too am a paying customer waiting on a delivery . The delivery took two and a half hours and when it arrived it was cold . I called the restaurant and they came and took the pizza back as well as the iced tea . The manager was Unapologetic and did not offer to make a new pizza to be delivered , she did absolutely nothing . The first time they brought the wrong Pizza and each one of my family members that would be three took a bite of each slice of pizza and when I called to advise the pizza was wrong , the delivery man when he came for the back stood on my steps trying to piece together the pizza as if he wouldn't take it back claiming we had eaten all of it which was a complete lie . I need to find a different location of Royal Pizza to deal with because the customer service and the management style of this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. I am still waiting for the charge back to come back and the manager was very dismissive about this as well . As you may be able to tell I am very upset with the way I was treated today . read more

Ordered the salad and a pizza. Salad was 1/4 container full and nothing else in it. Overpriced!! The pizza was okay. On my second piece and found a long hair in the pizza. Phoned to complain and manager never did call me back. Would never recommend this place. Very poor service. read more

Stopped in at the Baseline Road location in Sherwood Park. Haven't been to a Royal Pizza for at least 20 years. The pizza still tasted the same and was excellent. Glad to see they are opening up more restaurants and will be easier to get to in the future. read more

Now that Rose Bowl is closed, this is now our go-to option for thick crust pizza delivery. It's the same Royal Pizza you've always loved, and they deliver from downtown. They set the expectation of a delivery time of an hour and 15 minutes, but can usually get the pizza to you in 45. the crust is springy and fresh. read more

I have always been a fan of Royal Pizza and tried this location for the first time tonight. My gluten free pizza was amazing and the crust they use is better than most. My fiancee's pizza tasted good but the crust was quite undercooked. We sent it back and the solution was to run it through the oven again - which sadly just left the bottom of the crust burned and still undercooked in many places. I'm still a fan of Royal Pizza and hope it's a bit better the next time. Great job on the GF one though! read more
