I usually give her one week to complete my "order", and the quality and price are worth the wait. I also appreciate the convenience of private parking near 99 street, behind the house. And it's only blocks away from Wild Earth Cafe, Culina and Route 99. My favourite tailor on the city.

Mariellen was very helpful and able to make the bustle look beautiful and put on new sleeves. she was stunned that I paid for the work that was done. Capital Tailors did what was asked. Their shop was 27 degrees and I was dripping sweat in the dress. At points I just wanted to cry. They also had one visit where they told me not to gain any more weight. It was a very difficult experience because I didn't even want to put on my dress anymore. it was very well priced for a poor job.

I was very satisfied with the service and always said I wanted my pants to be touching the floor without shoes on....every time! I don't know her name but i went in enough that she recognized me. I had taken in a pair of black linen pants and went through the whole scenario of trying them on, have them touch the floor without shoes and then I just picked them up a few days later. I didn't try them on right away because I've never had a problem. I took them with me on a trip a couple of weeks later. When I put them on, they were a solid inch and a half too short. I can't wear them. I took them back in to see if maybe she could let the hem down but it didn't look like enough fabric was left. She said 3/4 of an inch was all she could do But I would have to pay, Again!! I got pressed about having a receipt. I had taken another pair of pants with me that day that needed to be hemmed. I thought maybe she would even offer to do those for free for compensation, but the only solution was for me to pay for her to fix what she did wrong in the first place. I brought in my $300+ Agolde jeans to have the waist taken in and hemmed. The waist wasn't taken in evenly on both sides and the belt loops aren't evenly placed now to the point that it's super noticeable and I will never be able to wear a belt or any cropped shirt with these pants because it's so noticeable. When I brought them in I had made some marks myself but noted that I probably wanted to have them taken in less than that and they indicated they would take them in 1 1/2 inches instead of 2 1/2 inches (and took new measurements themselves while I was in the shop), but it appears they took them in 2 1/2 inches so I don't think there's even enough fabric to fix it. Completely ruined a great pair of jeans. I won't be bringing anything else here.
