On my second time trying to call the phone rang about 5 times, then a representative answered. After giving the reason for my call, pick-up location, and destination I was told the wait would be 45 minutes. That's a fairly long time considering that I was only 5 minutes away, and the destination was a short time away as well, but I decided to wait anyway. After waiting about 20 minutes, the elderly man decided to cancel the taxi cab pickup. When I called the company back they seemed unbothered by the cancellation. Not as if they should seem bothered, but it just seemed as if they were happy to have the pick up cancelled.

Yikes! -- After 2 positive experiences, things unfortunately took a negative turn with Next Destination Transportation. The owner, admittedly, is underway in a busy season and sent zero text messages (as he has done in the past) to confirm a scheduled pick-up. Miscommunication on both ends perhaps and the terms and conditions are spelled out on the website but it seems he picks and chooses when he wants to follow them. In the spirit of fairness, the cars have been clean and the drivers have been professional...until now. What I won't do is stay on the phone for 20 minutes repeating myself. I simply encourage all of you to get confirmation by phone, email, AND text if you don't want your full payment to be a donation to the business. =)

Will probably avoid BWI in the future if possible, but this express bus was a cheap alternative to get into Metro DC from BWI. Smart card or $6 cash. Ride took 40 mins from BWI to Greenbelt during rush hour. Tues around 3:30PM. Another 30 mins to get to L' Enfant Plaza station. Bus stop at Greenbelt is very close to main entrance. Go up the escalator on the left after the turnstile to transfer to the Green or Yellow line.

The drivers are friendly and the dispatch was great, up until a guy named "Walter" began dispatching. I found him to be extremely rude - especially when it came to explaining my details (which I would imagine they had on their system from previous dispatches- as I never had an issue before). They would usually take about 10 seconds to finish the entire conversation with me. Walter, on the other hand- went on to rudely complain about the speed at which I gave my address and phone number (which I'd repeated about 3 times at different rates) and concluded in me ending the call after a good 7 minutes of trying to give the simple to and from locations along with my phone number. I hope they hire a more competent and friendly dispatcher with a bit of etiquette when it comes to speaking with clients!
