For some reason they have started calling up all medical customers first and making any rec customers wait until all med customers are served. I waited for over 15 minutes in line today FROM THE FRONT OF THE LINE as 7 different med patients came in and were immediately served. The line of rec users backed out into the main lobby. I seriously have never met a cranky employee here! I stopped in after an incredibly stressful week at work and I can definitely admit to being spazzy. I had misread the deals for the week and ordered something thinking it was on sale that day but it was really the next day. They were quick to inform me if I could afford to wait a day it would be a wayyyy better deal, like a store actually informing you of a sale?? That's amazing. When I explained I was swamped at work and wouldn't be able to stop by back in for a couple weeks, they were compassionate, offering an empathic ear and reassuring me that it'll work out and reminding me that I can only internalize so much. It was like the hug I needed after a rough week. I want to hug those amazing women for being so supportive! I know some people consider it expensive, but I'd rather spend my money with people who care about well-being, they make sure you what you truly need! I didn't actually see inside, I had called to see if they had a product that I had been told by my…read moredoctor and pharmacies that medical supply stores would have. There was no answer, only voicemail, even though their hours stated they would be open. I didn't leave a message, but someone called me back almost immediately, evidently getting my phone number from caller ID. The gentleman had a strong accent, and was somewhat hard to understand, though I appreciated him calling back so quickly. I was still in the parking lot. When I explained what I needed, he didn't recognize it, vaseline gauze for wounds. According to my doctor, this was a common item for first aid, but nobody knew what it was! I ended up getting it from Amazon, after checking every pharmacy and medical supply stores in a 20 mile area from Hillcrest Hospital. Even pharmacists had no idea what it was. So I can't fault them too much, though I was surprised that they didn't know what it was.
