My favorite aspect of this darling store is their staff. They exude kindness and they are always eager to help. On my recent trip here - one of the staff members went out of their way to select the perfect container of fresh raspberries for me. As I was checking out - a different sales clerk - commented on my portable fan and we both bonded over "running hot" throughout the day. It was a lovely personable interaction that made me smile and it reminded me of how important it is to support our local grocery stores and community. The deli staff always acknowledge customers, which we appreciate, but the wait can be quite long because they continue finishing other tasks before helping the customer in line. We understand they have work to do, but it would be wonderful if serving waiting customers could be a higher priority. Since this is the only grocery store in the area, we hope the deli department can improve the wait times. We love this market and want to see it continue to thrive.
