DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. At first, they'll seem great, but it is all a weirdly manipulative facade. They sell you on their service, but then change the rules. We were loyal customers for 9 years, then, they changed what types of weeds are included in their lawn service. For a particular weed (nutsedge, which until last year had been controlled in our lawn by this same service), they decided to start charging extra, telling us that their normal weed control juice does not kill nutsedge (it does). THEN, we literally watched service tech spray our lawn INTENTIONALLY AVOIDING THE AREAS AFFECTED BY NUTSEDGE. This in itself didn't lead me to post a negative review, but it did lead me to cancelling the service. Only they didn't cancel the service. Now they've started up again and refuse to refund the charges for this new season even though we canceled last May. All the other reviews look positive? Of course... They deleted my negative review on another site within an hour or two of posting. So not only are their business practices questionable, they also "polish" their reviews, their Facebook page, and who knows what else so that everything looks pretty and shiny. They were great until they weren't. Once you have a dispute with them, customer service goes from kind and nice to nasty venom. Beware, no matter how good Royse seems at first. Terrible products. Deplorable customer service. After five treatments from Royse, my lawn looked terrible and was covered with weeds. I called and inquired if something could be done. They said an additional treatment would be necessary, and that it would cost another $73. I agreed because I wanted the weeds gone. After they came and sprayed, a note and invoice were left behind. The note indicated that they didn't think the weeds were treatable, and that nothing would happen. So why charge me $73 for something that would have no effect? After another two weeks I called and cancelled their services. The next day they showed up and sprayed weed killer on my lawn. So now not only did I have weeds, but dead yellow grass spots as well. At least before the lawn was all green. I didn't request this from them. In fact I had already cancelled their services. Our relationship was over. Two weeks later I had to hire another lawn service to re-seed my entire lawn for $400. I do not recommend using Royse at all. With so many other lawn businesses out there, you'd think they'd use customer service as a means of retaining customers and setting themselves apart from the competition. read more

Our lawn has never looked better. Royse has been treating our lawn for 3 years. We had bald spots, crab grass, tons of weeds, and now after their hard work, our lawn is lush, thick, green, and weed free! We added mosquito treatment last year. It made a huge difference! Amazing work, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I have a 4 year old that always leaves toys in the yard. Before every treatment they walk the yard and collect his toys, and remove any fallen branches. I've been extremely happy with this company. Prior to Royse Lawn Care, I've had Scott's and Trugreen. (Hated them both) To me, neither of these companies compare to Royse Lawn Care. It's nice having a local company and being able to make a call if you have a problem.
