Generally you pull in to fill up or hit the convenience store and leave. Can be a problem potentially for graduation, game, or parent weekends but this part of Pullman doesn't see a lot of traffic. Inside the store has the essentials. Alcohol. Cigarettes. Snacks and all the usual drinks you'd expect anywhere else. You can purchase lotto tickets and "put twenty dollars on pump ten" if that's your style. Some hot food but it's certainly questionable. Give the other reviews a view. Works in a pinch but it's not a brand new station. Just some nice people and depending on the day the cheapest gas in town.

With the information he provided, we bought the vehicle and had service done on what he recommended. Evan responded in a timely manner and was open about actual issues with the vehicle- even one that potentially could be hazardous given it was a cracked steering knuckle. On top of that, the prices are extremely reasonable. I wish there were more mechanics out there like Evan. Furthermore, I wish more car shops would just be honest with their customers instead of trying to replace things aren't necessary to make a buck. This kind of service is what drives repeat customers. He was able to get my vehicle repaired the same day so I could get back home the next day. He even went to the place that the (horrible-but not local) tow company had mis-delivered it to and brought it back to his shop instead of waiting to have the tow company correct the mistake (which originally took 6 hours to have them get my vehicle after the request was made to have it towed). I heard he was good and reputable by some locals in the town when I was stuck in Colfax waiting for a ride to Pullman (where I was staying for the night) when I asked where I could get it looked at. Heritage diagnosed the problem as a serpentine belt and tensioner and charged us over $560 to replace them. The very next morning the exact same noise returned. When we contacted them again and sent a video, they told us it was actually a wheel bearing issue and quoted another $1,150 for repairs. At this point we lost confidence and sought another opinion. A different shop diagnosed the actual problem immediately: the transfer case, which explained the noise and the acceleration issues. So to summarize: * Heritage charged us $560 for a repair that did not fix the problem * They then misdiagnosed the issue again as wheel bearings * The real issue was the transfer case, which they completely missed What is most concerning is that they were prepared to perform another $1,150 repair that would not have solved the problem either. Good mechanics diagnose problems before charging customers for unnecessary work. This experience felt like guessing at repairs while the customer pays the bill. I would recommend anyone experiencing drivetrain or noise issues get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here.
