My friend found this place on yelp. We were a group of 5- 3 adults and 2 teens. They were very accommodating for us as we were running late and caught in traffic. We were able to communicate via text. Thankfully we didn't lose our appts. Free Street parking. Different packages to chose from. U got the massage and hair tx. The only thing I will say if u get what you pay for. I was wondering why the price was so good. If you're looking for a place that analyzes your head with photos, etc. this is not it. It's been about two weeks since I came here. My hair is curly and this was my first head spa experience. I'm not sure if it was the products they used or how rough the massage was but my hair has been extremely oily. My scalp still feels tender as well. The only other time my scalp has felt this way is when I went to get my hair bleached and the stylist chemically burned my scalp. Since booking, my hair has been itchy, oily and is covered in dandruff. I think my scalp is overcompensating what was done to it. I also agree with the other review that they are not experienced with curly hair . I walked out with wet oily hair. Very sad that this was my first experience with a head spa. read more

I came in for my birthday, was genuinely excited for a relaxing head spa, but within just five minutes, I had to ask them to stop. My hair is long and thick, and I told them that before we started, but they clearly had no idea how to handle it. The stylist was so rough that my hair became completely knotted and tangled almost immediately. It felt like they were just yanking through it with no care or technique. I was in tears before the treatment was even halfway done. Instead of a soothing experience, it turned into a painful and stressful mess. When I got home, I spent over an hour trying to detangle and realized how much damage had been done--my hair feels dry, broken, and uneven. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone, especially those with long or thick hair. They should not advertise a "head spa" if they don't know how to treat all hair types gently. My first visit at Rs Head Spa, and I had no idea what to expect, nor any expectations. The experience was a bit clunky all around. Perhaps it's a new space getting their bearings. A friend and I scheduled (via text message) our appointments about a week in advance. We arrived on time and were escorted to a small room where both of us were given towels, and told to disrobe only the top half of our bodies, covering ourselves with given towels. It seems there was only one room, otherwise, it makes more sense to have given us separate changing facilities. We made do. When we returned to the main spa area, one table was already taken, and a miniature sheer curtain was pulled into place between her and the two of us. We were each invited to lay in our beds and tucked in with pillow under knees and towel over chest/arms. The woman working on me seemed highly distracted, coming and going, turning things off and on and chatting with the two men, one working on either side of her. It seemed to take several minutes before she sat and relaxed. The treatment began with hair washing; typically my favorite part of getting a haircut. The water was more hot than warm. After washing and rinsing my hair, the head massage began. First a head scratcher thing was used, then the massage itself. The woman seemed experienced, yet untrained in her ability to massage my head and neck. The head massage included some punching motions/pressure, as well as flicking motions towards the sides/temples. Minimal attention was given to the neck and shoulders. After being invited to get up and get dressed, we were offered a blow-dry and oil treatment, a La Croix from the mini fridge, then charged for the service. Note to those with curly hair - the employees are inexperienced! They use the same products, they roughly dry the hair with a towel, then run their fingers through the curls during and after the blow-dry. If you love frizzy hair, this is totally the place for you! If you prefer to keep your curls in tact, either have a conversation ahead of time, or be prepared for a lot of frizz. Overall, it was an interesting experience. Now that I know what to expect, I might go again, but it's unlikely this will be a routine spa spot. read more

One of my daughters fell asleep three times during her treatment and I could not wake her up because she was so relaxed. Incredible experience! I'd been looking for a good hair spa and decided to explore this place on a whim. I called them for a same-day appointment and they were able to accommodate me in 30 mins. The place itself is very cute and neatly done. They checked me in, handed a robe and had clean towels and warm blankets ready on the spa table. There are curtains between booths and it is a semi-private setup. They use Olaplex full range products and steam treat and massage your head before using a deep treatment hair mask and washing it off. Basic blow dry is also included in the package and my hair hasn't felt so soft or good in a long while. The staff is very nice and friendly. Worth every buck!! My husband and I went to RS Head Spa for the Classic Head Spa with a 1-hour Swedish massage, which was $143 each. The vibe was really nice, and the staff were super friendly when we walked in. We started with the Swedish massage, and even though they asked us to take off our clothes, they made us feel comfortable the whole time. They even used hot stones towards the end, which was a nice touch. Then we went into the classic head spa, where they had us lay down and massaged our scalp while adding warm water to relax us. After that, they used shampoo to wash our hair and kept massaging our head, neck, and shoulders. Afterward, they offered drinks, and we chose water. They also had sparkling water and juice, but those had an extra charge. They finished by blow-drying our hair and using some oils on it, which left it feeling really nice. The total came to $292. The experience was great overall, but as we were leaving, we said "Thank you, have a great day," and one of the staff members asked, "No tip?" My husband and I were a little confused at first, and she repeated, "No tip?" We awkwardly said, "Oh, no, sorry," and then she started speaking in a foreign language. Normally, I don't tip, but I might next time. However, asking for a tip like that felt kinda off. Tipping is a personal choice, and it shouldn't be expected or pressured. Made an appointment for head spa for 3 a few weeks in advance, they're a little bad at texting and i just ended up calling them. I had to reschedule my appointment a week before and the day before my appointment they said they still had both times on the calendar so I feel like they are a bit unorganized. When we got there though it was a pretty easy experience and they were prepared before we got there. I would say I had a good experience but I have very easy and straight hair. The massage was the best part and all the hair stuff felt nice and the lady who did my hair was very nice. I also really liked all the smells of the products they were using and when they blow dry your hair they give you a free drink. My friend who has curly hair though did not have as a good experience, her hair looked crazy and poofy after and when I watched them try to comb her hair it looked like they were patting it? Overall it was decorated very cutesy in there and people were nice and maybe I'd go back for just a shoulder massage or something bc that was the best part of the head spa but if you have not straight hair I'd probs advise against going here. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here, but I've never been to a headspa before. I think some of the complaints in other reviews have since been addressed. For example there are now curtain dividers between each headspa sink (not shown in my photo). The massage room is totally private for the massage and changing. They play relaxing spa music, but there are conversations going on too like other reviews say. One thing I think they could improve is eliminating the doorbell. Whenever someone uses the door, the bell rings and says "hello hello" over the speaker, which was a little distracting. I did a package deal of a massage and headspa. The massage is definitely more of a "hurts so good" massage than a "spa" massage. I didn't realize how knotted my shoulders were! The headspa itself was very relaxing. I felt myself melting during the wire scalp massage part and wish that lasted longer. I partially fell asleep during the mask portion. My hair smells and feels super clean too. They also offer a stamp card program. I would definitely come again for the headspa portion every few months just to keep my scalp free of build up. read more

The sheets they laid over us were so small and thin it felt weird. The head spa was amazing. I would say they are not able to style your hair so only expect a half blow dry. I went to this place last week and absolutely loved it. When you walk in the place you'll notice it is very clean and smells nice. They have cute cozy blankets they place over you once you are changed and ready for your service. I was at the table closest to the door and I wasn't cold at all they are very in tune with you and your needs. The massage was out of this world. I have a hard time relaxing and this had me melted on that table! The one thing I thought was weird was she stuck her fingers IN MY EARS and had I known I would have opted out of that. After watching countless hours of TikTok content of those Chinese head spas (my guilty pleasure), I was super pleased to find out about this spot opening. Previously, the only head spa in the greater Seattle area was in Shoreline, but the location isn't super friendly to us transit girlies. I booked an afternoon spot the same day and I really enjoyed my experience. My scalp felt so light after a good deep cleanse. I'd love to come back and try the scalp + full body massage combo in the future. The owner is still trying to find reliable staff to expand the services. So my best friend and I are always trying out of the ordinary stuff and we had wanted to try a head spa for a while. I don't like massages but do love having my head and shoulders rubbed. The ladies were pretty aggressive when doing the head massages, at one point they take their fists and sort of pound over and over on the top of your head which left me pretty sore the next day. When they dry your hair after the service they again use high quality products but I don't think they knew what to do with a hairstyle with bangs and it would be nice to have the option to forego the drying process. The inside could be updated a lot and mellowed out: it's not very spa-like with bright lights, moldy flowers in vases, dusty, old stuffed animals along the walls and faded carpets. read more

Planned a classic spa package for three for my mothers bday. We truly didn't know what to expect. The staff were very nice and professional. I had a male washing my hair and for some that's uncomfortable but he was gentle and professional and I felt comfortable. I even had to get up in the middle of it all and use the restroom and they didn't make me feel Like I unconvinced them even though I for sure did... it was a pleasant experience and we are planning to go once a month. I went with a couple of friends and we got the premium head spa treatment, and hour Swedish massage package deal. Worth every penny. They use Olaplex products, and then dry your hair with a Dyson air wrap when finished. My hair has never been this soft in my life! And they are hand tied extension friendly, I do not recommend going with any type of extensions with adhesive as they use steam and oils on your head which would break the bond of your extensions. 10/10 experience! read more

My mom and I came here for 60 head spa treatments yesterday and it was incredible. The staff is so friendly and offered us beverages while we waited (we were early). The treatment was so relaxing. I have been a long time lurker on Yelp, but I was really frustrated by the situation I had with this place that I needed to officially make an account to review. Ultimately, I didn't get any services done so I cannot comment on that, but I do have an issue with their unprofessionalism and customer service so my review is mainly on that. I initially booked the head spa and body massage combo and booking at this place seemed relatively easy and the place responded very quickly. They even texted me on the day of my appointment to remind about the appointment. However, when I showed up (and I showed up right on time), they seemed confused by the fact that I was there and a person was going back and forth to the board with their appointments on it and to a person in a back. He then came out and said that the person that was supposed to work on me was with another client because the client decided to extend their massage last minute. Therefore, I would need to not only wait for the client to finish, but I would also need to reduce my service to just the body massage. I don't know why they would just let clients extend their services without checking if someone else was coming in for appointments or whatever, but I decided that clearly they don't respect my time so I just left. I was already a little annoyed before getting in because I asked over text if it was easy to park there, I know how Seattle parking can be and they said it should be easy (it wasn't) and I thought the interior was a little off-putting. So with these things and the appointment situation, I felt that this wasn't the place to go. It's a little further out of Seattle and a little harder to book, but I've have an amazing experience at D4 Season but in Shoreline and would recommend it over this place. read more

I came here for the "classic head spa" and found it overall to be a relaxing experience. The ambiance was welcoming and peaceful, and the space was clean. Unlike other similar services I've tried that start with a scalp analysis, this one was purely focused on relaxation. The hour was filled with washing, rinsing, and a massage as product was worked through my hair. They let you sit under a steamer before they dry your hair and apply finishing products. For the price, I expected a more private experience. While I understand that the space may not allow for separate rooms, a simple divider between the treatment beds would have made a big difference. I also felt that the service could use some improvement. When I arrived, I mentioned I was there for my scheduled appointment, but the staff didn't acknowledge me beyond ushering me into the changing room. The whole interaction felt a bit rushed and awkward, lacking that personal touch. Lastly, parking is street parking, which can be a challenge. What a gem of a find in the Ravenna neighborhood! I'm surprised that no other Yelper has been there yet - maybe because this place has a very inconspicuous entrance and only opened 3 months ago. Opened by a mother-son duo, this humble-looking spa actually comes with a lot nice amenities including free canned drinks including Izze and Spindrift sparkling water during your service, Olaplex hair products, doTerra diffuser scents etc. They also use Dyson supersonic hairdryers to style it after the hair spa so you know they're legit! My friend and I did the 1hr hair spa + 1 hr body massage special which left us feeling super relaxed and refreshed. The hair spa itself was fantastic with gentle jets massaging your scalp as the therapist massages and combs through your scalp with hair products to soften and shine your hair. I think we waited less than 10 minutes before being whisked off to their changing room and then on to the tables. This was our first experience at a head spa ever and we loved our service.
