It took 9 months to complete the remodel, and then another few months to determine there was a problem with the audio. The owner, Isaiah Andrus, came out to check the system and determined we needed a sound bar which we had them install. We had a couple of other contacts with this company regarding other problems, but received very little satisfaction. We finally just decided "it's good enough". About 7 or 8 months ago, I called Andrus Audio to schedule an appointment to have the system evaluated to determine if we needed to update some equipment because our wifi was troublesome. I left a couple of messages but never received a return call. After several weeks, I called Isaiah's cell phone, which he answered. I told him I'd like to schedule an appointment to have our system evaluated. He said he'd be happy to schedule an appointment and would call me back as soon as he got back to his office. I never heard back from him. Then a few weeks ago, I received an email from Andrus Audio soliciting business. I decided to try once more; after all, they had done the original install and knew what equipment we have, etc. I was able to schedule the appointment online by selecting 3 dates that I would be available. They confirmed a date and time, and I marked it on my calendar. Jesse showed up (20 minutes late). Before I showed him where the equipment is located, I explained to him my previous experience with the poor customer service. I said I hope that it has improved. He assured me that it had, that he had been hired as a manager to do just that. I then showed him where the equipment is, and what I would like for them to do. He sent me a quote within a few days. It looked like the recommendations would solve the problems, and told him I would like to schedule the work to be done. We agreed on a date and time. The time was set for 8:00 a.m. At 8:35 I called their office and left a message on Jesse's extension asking when the technician would arrive. I called again at 8:45 but did not leave a message. I called again at 9:00 a.m. and left a message on the extension for the sales department telling them to cancel the appointment. At 9:10 a.m. I called Jesse again and he answered the call. I asked him about the technician and he said he had called in sick, and that he (Jesse) was just sending me an email telling me that another technician would be at my house by 10:30! SERIOUSLY? I said to him that given the fact I had already told him I was dissatisfied with their customer service, I should think it would have been prudent for him to PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL ME! With the amount of competition in this area of expertise, and all other things being equal, one would think that having excellent customer service would be Priority 1! I would never, ever, recommend Andrus Audio. If anyone reading this review can recommend an audio/video company that truly has excellent customer service, please post it!

He gave me a quote and after a couple of weeks deciding, we contacted Germaine to have the work done. Within a few days he had a 2-man crew at our house, and they wrapped up the work in 1/2 day. They needed to run all new wires, since the original wires were now too short. The fished the wires through the attic and down the wall we requested.
