I live in Huntington Beach and there are a few shops up here that sell Wilson as well. After talking with Fabio I decided to take his advice and pick up a new pair of Sasha DAWs locally. He could've been selfish and push the speakers he had in stock on me, but he was more interested in me getting something appropriate for my system that I would enjoy. I think that's very cool of him. He also introduced me to a new line of digital audio converters that I'm eager to learn more about and could easily see myself driving back to purchase in the future. It's sad how few of these shops there are around. The sad thing is, in most cases, in addition to losing the ability to audition the gear, when you buy online you usually pay more. I know of less than five real audio stores left in Southern California. I'm glad these guys are still around and I look forward to seeing Fabio again soon.

Although in excellent condition, the turntable arm excursion was badly out of balance. Also, the gears of the platter were not well lubricated, apparently. Greg was able to bring this antique into a well functioning record player, despite the challenges of extremely old gears. I truly believe that fixing a vintage record player like mine is a lost art, and I am so lucky to have found the one guy who has this skill in the San Diego area! Instead, I found the TV I wanted, received great service, and decided to purchase in-store and buy the Best Buy Protection plan for my $4,500+ TV. Fast forward 18 months, and the screen developed some unusual wear. It didn't affect the picture, but it was noticeable on dark scenes. I figured I'd see what Best Buy had to say. From start to finish, the experience was incredible: Justin in Geek Squad genuinely cared about helping me and made the process easy. Carla, the Geek Squad technician, was knowledgeable, professional, and confirmed the issue was covered. Within hours, my claim was approved. I then worked with Stephen from the Audio/Video team, who went above and beyond to find the replacement TV I wanted, even though it wasn't in stock. Ryan, the Assistant Store Manager, also took the time to answer my questions and made sure everything was taken care of. Great teams are built from the top, down and it shows. In the end, I received the newer model of my TV and even got about $500 back in store credit because of the price difference. I honestly couldn't be more impressed. Last week I had to emergency purchase a new camera body for a shoot. Best Buy had it listed as "1-hour pickup," so I placed the order thinking I'd be able to grab it before my shoot. Hours later the order still wasn't ready so I figured I'd be able to grab it the next day. Come to find out the NEXT MORNING, they didn't actually have the camera in stock. When your livelihood depends on your equipment, listing something as available for pickup when it isn't can put someone's entire job at risk. And this isn't my first frustrating experience with them. I've also seen products priced higher right before a "sale," making the discount look way better than it actually is. I'm just so tired of corporate greed and huge companies getting away with practices that would absolutely destroy the reputation of a small business. Also customer service did absolutely nothing for me when I told them about the issue.

They cleaned up my HDMI/Ethernet wiring without me asking by running them through walls instead of the cord cover I was using. They had extra HDMI cable as mine was too short. After they finished they asked for less than 50 percent of what I expected the project to cost. I would recommend for any installation and just wished I contacted them sooner.

Javier just finished the complete upgrade of our internet and AV system. I had been working with…read moreanother company for more than 20 years and wanted to stay with them. But they only handled Elan and I wanted to go to Control 4. I interviewed 4 companies and Javier was the only one to point out that we had Cat 3 cable and to get the highest speeds we needed to go to Cat6, which would require some rewiring. Also, other companies me told that I needed an equipment rack to straighten out the cable mess in my cabinet. Javier said he could take care of that without a rack. This would be a cost saving of about $2000! I found the following to be very positive about Javier and the team he works with: 1) Always available (I've contacted him early in the AM and late at 9pm and he always answered promptly, courteously, and knowledgeably. 2) He bid what was needed and got me the best prices possible 3) He was on time and on budget 4) He left the job site clean 5) Everything worked! 6) His bid was half of what my prior vendor bid for a system that provides everything we need and more. 7) Before Javier, we never got more than 200Mbps even though we paid for gigabit service. With Javier's upgrade we now get over 900MBPS everywhere in the house. I include a before and after picture so you can see his handiwork. There was an Amp and AVR in an adjacent cabinet that he was able to consolidate into the one neat setup where everything can be accessed easily. Most employees turn off their phones after 5 and don't want to help or be bothered by customers after hours.
