I give this zero stars. The owner of this facility, Theresa, is a completely unprofessional, discriminatory, and rude individual. I was temporarily in need of a large storage unit and this facility was one of the only local businesses that had one immediately available. The employee who initially gave me a tour and application paperwork was nice and helpful. I turned in the paperwork and said I could pay in advance with cash or credit card. They only had one unit left and I said I was very interested and would pay ASAP to secure it, my application just needed approval by the owner. I did not hear back from the owner for a week so I called back to follow-up. I received a return phone call from the owner later that evening saying they had already rented the unit I wanted (thanks for letting me know) and that she was concerned about my ability to pay rent even though I had a source of income and had explained I would happily pay in advance. Her message was pretty off-putting and I felt like I was being scolded and judged by my parent for what she incorrectly perceived to be negative life circumstances that she knew nothing about. I called back with additional information that she had requested to assuage her fears and received another rude and judgmental message expressing her disapproval of my situation and lack of confidence to pay my rent (even though I would have paid up front). I visited the business in person to personally lay her fears to rest, met with the same employee who showed me another large unit that had just come available, and she left a message for the owner. I then got the most judgmental message from the owner first rudely chastising "that someone who is looking for job should be answering their phone" (PS, I have a job and there are times reasonable people don't answer their phone such as when they are going to the bathroom, eating, having polite conversations with friends which she is probably incapable of, or just personal choice not to take a call). She also told me in the message that she did not have any units to rent to me (even though I was just there and there were at least three available), that she would have to consider increasing her prices (I'm assuming to avoid riff raff like me?), but said I could call her back to discuss things further. At this point I decided this crazy woman and her facility were not a good fit for me, but I decided to call her back and explain that her messages were rude and unprofessional and I was personally offended by her treatment. This judgemental lady then had the audacity to speculate that I was probably a "single mother on welfare or disability" which appeared to be the bottom line of why she didn't want to rent to me, and she suggested I re-listen to my voicemails because she denied her previous rude messages (which I would upload if I could for proof). I happen to not be single, nor a mother, nor on welfare (none of which I judge against), so I told this lady that it was her discretion as a business owner to decide who to do business with but that discrimination based upon marital, financial, or parental status was frowned upon if not illegal. She didn't seem to care. Bottomline, unless you like being judged by inconsiderate rude nosebags who won't rent to you unless you are a doctor or lawyer, I would avoid this place like the plague. read more
