The first was additional kitchen cabinets, bookshelf and a wainscoting wall to connect them. He matched the rest of the cabinetry so that it looked like they had always been there. Next he made a beautiful built-in, long, side board or buffet in my living room. I was blown away by his detailed approach and the high quality of his product. Next he built custom cabinetry for my master bathroom. He also changed the trim work on the doors to keep and match the consistency of the look matching the multiple new cabinets. Most recently he helped me get both my home office and Hobby/Art room to be more efficient and organized by adding fold out drawing boards and additional drawers. I can't recommend Glen highly enough, I'm looking forward to my next project with him. I would love to do a whole house with him. And by the way, he provides the best estimates I've ever seen, detailed so you can make good decisions and know exactly what everything means. He's a very nice guy who went so far as to invite me to his shop to help select which piece of cherry plywood I'd like to see on each cabinet and on a handmade desk, an hour that included a discussion of where tight and wide grain would be most appropriate. Another plus is his use of first-rate Blum hinges that self-close very smoothly. Woodencraft's prices for custom work are not cheap but they are fair and quite competitive. Where this outfit really shines is in the quality and timeliness of the work and Glen's responsiveness to client concerns.

After a quick Yelp search, we came across Elite Custom Cabinetry and Fidel was able to see what was already done and listened to what I wanted to do. He quickly understood what was needed, listened for any design input, even provided some options with regards to trim styles to be installed in between each bookcase. On the day of installation, just a few hours went by and the crown molding, various pieces of trim, and nearly perfectly matching baseboards were installed. Lots of little bits here and there were considered to truely give the appearance of a built-in library. The work was perfect, especially given where the starting line was. When the work was done, their clean up was so good, not a piece of dust was left behind. On top of everything, pricing was very reasonable. For the work that was done, the cost was very fair. I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone looking to complete a bookshelf/library project. I am sure they do other types of work but as far as libraries go, nothing but fantastic work.

BACKGROUND: We wanted bookshelves installed above a built-in cabinet unit in our living room. I sent Jitendra a sketch and described what we wanted. From my chicken-scratch sketch, he created a design and mock-up, then measured our space. While measuring, he flagged all existing flaws in the space (uneven/slanted walls) so that we were aware of all inconsistencies upfront. He has amazing attention to detail! RESULTS: We were simply blown away by how well he was able to match the custom shelves to our existing unit; all of the wood looks like it was manufactured at the same time! It truly looks like it was all constructed as one piece from the very beginning, which is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we really appreciate that he took initiative to incorporate crown molding/extra detail on the top of the shelving unit. This is something that I would never have thought to do. Seif was extremely helpful in determining the type (single vanity or separate cabinets). He was diligent in obtaining the side splashes and replacement drawer front (the contractor put the handle on incorrectly). Bertch sent the wrong cabinets on the initial delivery but quickly replaced them within two weeks. However, they sent the wrong drawer front 2 times before getting it right almost 2 months later.
