I hired Cubbage Solutions after my septic alarm light came on, expecting professional service and a…read moreguarantee on their work. What I received instead was poor workmanship, incorrect guidance, and extremely unprofessional behavior. Cubbage Solutions told me my pump needed immediate replacement and instructed me to have the tanks emptied afterward. I followed every step exactly as they recommended. During the installation, I questioned why the new pump was being placed directly on the ground when the previous pump had been elevated. I was told this was "to prevent movement," but I later learned pumps are typically installed about a foot off the bottom to avoid clogging. Because Cubbage Solutions installed the pump so low, it actually made the underlying issue worse by allowing sludge to clog the lines leading to the drain field. Three days later, a separate company emptied the tanks as instructed. Less than a month after the installation, the alarm light came back on. When I called, the owner immediately blamed me, claiming the tanks were full during installation and telling me to remove the pump myself to clean the screen. He also told me I "wouldn't like it" if he had to come out, then hung up on me. When I called back, he said he would not guarantee his work and hung up again. He also failed to complete my required annual AOSS inspection. I eventually hired Powell Plumbing for a second opinion. They confirmed the issue was not the pump at all--there was an underlying problem that Cubbage Solutions completely missed, and their improper installation only made things worse. Cubbage Solutions is unreliable, unprofessional, and does not stand behind its work. I strongly recommend choosing another company.

Update: I spoke with Chris and explained the situation. He said he would wave the full cost…read more Look it up...carbon monoxide can be found in septic tank gasses. I explained on the phone there were strange brown circles over the septic tank and CO detector went off in the room nearest the pipe with outflow to the tank. I was told it would be $89 for them to come out. He opened two of the septic pipes. Asked me to flush the toilet furthest from the pipe. He saw the water flowing to the tank. Came in and looked around the inside of the house. Said he believed the CO was coming from the propane fireplace pilot. (It has a CO detector next to it which didn't go off.) A total of probably 15-20 minutes max. That'll be "$245 for the diagnostic". He said it was office policy to charge for the diagnostic. Basically I paid $245 for his opinion and no work. Last year, they did good work with good customer service moving our water filter system from under the house to the laundry room. We had no issue. But this time I feel high jacked!!

The young men who came to do a septic inspection dug the entire pipeline up and tore the yard up…read more See pics. That is how they left the yard. They could have put a camera through the line instead. They also did not clean up the mess or put grass seed down. When I called I was told the they were insulted that I wanted a refund. Paid $1500 and then had to have another company come out and do it right. The second company only charged $500. Do not use this team for a septic inspection when selling a house. They wanted to come back and charge me $3000 more to "fix" a pipe that had no problems.
